'Official Michael Jackson Opus' (All Threads Merged)

The doorbell rang about five minutes ago here... MY OPUS IS HERE!!! :bounce

Now I feel almost intimidated by the package! But I'll have to open it soon just to see how great it is and hubby wants to know where I intend to place it too.

ME VERY HAPPY!! :woohoo:

Hopefully all you still waiting will receive your opuses rather sooner than later.

(The FedEx tracking still claims the book is in Paris, so the system hasn't been updated since Christmas and thus isn't 100% reliable -- but the service is and that's the main thing!)

My mum said she had been very worried, it was delivered at 3pm on Christmas eve!!!
Its gonna take me years to read it all, but im so happy :)
Hope those who havent got it yet don't have much longer to wait

Still waiting in Ireland. Mine is still stuck at some International Hub since before Christmas. Whatever the hell that is.

I also received mine about 11am on Christmas Eve.. I know we were promised that UK fans who ordered it before Dec 1st would receive it in time, but I never believed it!

It's absolutely beautiful, so incredibly heavy I can barely lift it and I just can't wait for the reality card to be delivered :)

Hope everyone receives theirs very soon!

The postman had already delivered 4 when he got to my house :) I'd love to know who they were!
 
I read a few pages back that people are saying we will have to request the reality card. As far as I know, we will get information about it in the new year. This is the info I have about the reality card via email as of December 18th:

"Please be assured that the promised Opus Reality feature is very much part of the Opus offering, but we want to ensure that this is something only available to our customers. With that in mind, it has been decided that this should be offered through a secure and protected online forum. In the New Year, you will be provided with your own unique pass code to a secure area of the Opus web site. The Opus Reality trigger card will be available to download from the site and used to access footage that will be presented in a way that will hopefully provide you with a unique ‘Michael Jackson Experience’. The benefit of using this system is that it significantly reduces the possibility of non-Opus customers being able to access this experience.

We are committed to bringing you a selection of Opus Reality footage over the coming year with the first example ready for you before the end of January 2010."
 
Still waiting here, in Holland.
I guess I can now say I wont be seeing it anymore this year.
 
I still haven't been able to unpack my Opus. It's still there where I left it when the FedEx brought it in the morning.

For some reason this seems to be harder thing for me than what it was when the concert tickets arrived and I am kinda waiting for the nonexistenting 'right moment' to unpack it.

Ha exactly! It said three working days on my order, so 23rd, 24th and yesterday the 28th. Today is a fourth working day and it's not even in my country yet!!!! Arrrgh

For the record my tracking number still says my Opus is in Paris and the shipping log has not been updated since Xmas Eve.

Wow!!! Got my OPUS today...... It is truly amazing, and yet bittersweet.... I am missing him even more now than when he passed away. I didnt know that it was possible to miss someone even more then i already did....... MJ Love 4 Ever......

Theres no pictures of the press conference, a small amount of pictures from the rehersals for "This is it".

But all in all it is full of wonderful pictures of the Lovliest and sexiest man that has ever lived :) MICHAEL JACKSON......

I have the same problem, I've send them an email about it, but offcourse I didnt get an answer yet. Even with a simple reply like, 'Don't worry, you'll recieve your Opus' I, would be happy but no.. even that is too hard for them. So if I'm right it means that people that didn't make the preorder in time, to get the book before xmas, are getting it even faster than me.

Thanks! I thought these pictures would be in the book. But I know that the book is full of wonderful pictures of the beloved Michael. :wub: I can not wait to receive my book. I'm anxious. :wild:

Funny thing is I bought two books from Amazon UK on December 8th and, tired of my stuff getting delayed even when I paid extra money to get them sooner, I just asked for those to be sent by regular post, no extra taxes, no delay, no FedEx, no tracking number, just simple, regular, snail mail. As I arrived to my office this morning, they were on my desk happy and fresh.

So... I wonder... do my newly arrived books know a way to Chile my Opus doesn't know? What about that terrible weather blocking the whole world? Is my Opus on the hands of some pirate from Somalia or something??
