BUT how to download??? on a paper? what?? I dont understand it!!!
I didn`t get email so far, nothing about the card nor my tracking code, nothing, Im really stressed right now, I sit home check my mail every 5 minutes, I dont go anywhere, just in case, but nothing!!!
This waiting is killing me!
I just have one question, do I have to phone Opus or Fedex about my info, Im not sure they have it, but if I recieved the first mail about the delivery from Opus does that mean they have my address and order??

Did you order the Opus directly from the Opus website? If you did, just contact them, they should get back to you..Contact whoever you ordered the book from...As far as contacting FedEx, I don't think you'll get anywhere unless you have a tracking code...But I would try anyways...
 
Well this sucks. No tracking number of course.
I'm going out of town for a month on the 22nd so if my Opus doesn't get here by the 21st I won't get to see it for a whole month :-(((((.
 
I just received a phone call here in the states from a staff at Kraken. I am surprised because I have been getting no where fast with the 8 emails that I have sent. Maybe he can help you too.

On another forum I go to one poster was fuming after he enquired about his Opus, its an xmas present for his son. He said in the email 'this is meant to be a christmas present for my son and wont arrive in time' and Ticketmaster actually had the cheek to send an email back telling him to 'print out the confirmation email and give that to your son.' Needless to say the guy is fuming!
 
Well Aussies no email just the email that everyone received grrrrrrr.
I want to call them again but the time difference makes it tricky cause i'm in bed when their store is open

OMG.............this is when we need the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future to visit these idiots.

If that doesn't work.....we'll need the ghost of Michael Jackson to give them a visit.....that should do the trick!!!

Ok... I do not celebrate Xmas, but I think you don't need to be "in" the Xmas hype to realize this is such a mean and rude answer. Extremely rude.
 
this is such a mess. i think the Opus people didn't have the slightest idea what they were dealing with when they started this project. Of course, they published books before, but never before there was such a huge demand for their books. And they just weren't ready. And I am sure that now they are doing their best, but this whole situation is a first for them. I actually feel kind of sorry for them. But maybe that's just because I am drunk right now i don't know...

Ok you guys opus update after chatting to the publisher for about 20mins lol

There has been a delay in shipping all over the world.
UK: a crate arrived on the 7th but due to snow etc they have been delayed.
All deliveries will be through fedex: Worldwide
Australians & maybe surrounding countries will receive a email in the next 24hrs explaining delivery etc.
Most people will not receive their opus' for Christmas & he is very sorry about this.
They worked on the opus for 12 weeks. It was going to be based on the "This Is It" tour but because of Michael's death that changed.
Because of the opus he hasn't seen his children for 5 months & he is also stressed out because of delivery & complaints but he is doing his best. He was nice & down to earth & we had a good laugh.

Why 1 glove? Was going to be 2 but they thought 1 was more symbolic that's all.

Reality card: Why print them? because the publisher thought this was a better idea since this book will be in store etc people can buy them & photocopy the picture with this idea only us can use the photo. You can print it on any paper.

It's almost 9pm in the UK & he will be in the office for the next 5hrs checking emails etc. Now that is dedication. So please be patient & understanding he is doing his best.

Also if you have moved home since you ordered the opus contact opus & they will fix it up.

So funny he commented on my Australian when I said "No worries" & said Good night hehe although Australia is 11hrs ahead.
I rang back lol asking can I please have your ful name & he was like "why am in trouble" "Are you with the press?" lol hilarious

Only email if it's extremely urgent:Change of address or something.
If it's about shipping they will send out emails. Please don't hound them with emails

I just sent them my complain: to Opus (the general mail), the customer representative who helped me to pre order, and 2 other "bosses" there. I had previously contacted them to thank them for their customer service, so I had their emails.

... and you see I am not that happy now :(

I don't care about Christmas. I just want to get it. Some day soon :) It's actually a relief I am getting all their "blah blah" emails, because it means that even though I haven't got a tracking number, my order is not lost! I am still in the system! So yay, I guess.

I am past the point where I was angry. I am tired now, so I am waiting patiently....

thanks for sharing this, in fact I would like to say I am disappointed about the noise and the blame game that has been going on in this topic towards Opus..
The company is a small boutique one they were overwhelmed with orders and inquiries ever since the MJ Opus got publicity and orders came in numbers never seen before.
They have been doing an excellent job in the background in ramping up their production to make sure all of the books are printed, bounde and are ready for shipment beginning of December.

Delays and confusion happens all the time when you ship items heavy and bulk like this especially when you 20000 address to play Santa to. Xmas period delivery is a nightmare for everyone you have got increased volume of items in the post, postal strikes, customs are overloaded, bad wheater conditions so much to go wrong that is beyond ones control

Opus is communicatingly very openly about the roadblocks they have been facing, unlike TM as some of you might recall, and whilst they are doing their very best to fulfill your Xmas wishes I am sure they would appreciate your patience and good will.

I think there has been a bulls up seriously why is it anything to do with michael jackson ppl always take the pee,icare about ppl and everything but this has got to a be a joke,thay must of known what a demand the book would be,and why go on ideal world and sell them on there cause that would make more demanded thay should of known how many ppl around the world love michael seriously,i feel so sorry for everyone who went though tm as there money has already been taken out and i doubt tm would give a refund or anything,seems like a never ending story :cry:

Thanks for this, Chrissy. :D It's nice to have news regarding the Australian delivery.
I don't mind not getting the Opus before Christmas...I don't even care about that. It's going to be a present (Christmas or not) no matter what day it comes.
The Opus people are working their socks off and I truly believe they are trying their best.
Put things into perspective and relax, people.
