I am sorry for the delay, the reason that the publishers have given is bad weather at sea delaying the boat. The last update we recieved was that the boat had docked and that Fedex are in the process of delivering them to us and that the should be with us today or tomorrow at the very latest. We will be dispatching them by courier on a next day service but I am not sure if it is Interlink or one of our other couriers. It will definatley be with you in time for christmas.

I finally got my Opus book. I am trying to open the book now. Even though my mother wanted for me to wait to open it at Christmas time. But I told her I can open it up then too. I will just put my big purple bow on it. I knew the book was going to be big. But I didn't think it was going to be that big and heavy. I am going to take some pictures of the book now to show you guys. If I can't post the pictures today I will try and post them tomorrow. I am just so happy that I finally got my best MJ item of them all.

Yeah, the book is heavy too! I was surprised when it was delivered. I really hope everyone gets theirs soon!
 
Today after ringing Ticketmaster:apparently they have nothing to do with it

KrakenOpus - man was unsure why only one glove and said should get it by Christmas and FedEx will send Tracking no., but they are slow.

So I then thought "f This" and got no. for FedEx, I spoke to two lovely women, who tried their best to help, but no luck. They were asking for the tracking no., and told them I had not received it. Told them some fans are getting books but hadn't received no. They said Opus should have a tracking no, and to get it from them. They took my name, and address and tried to see was anything going to my address. Nothing showed up. They can't do much without tracking no.

Is there anyone in Ticketmaster, KrakenOpus or FedEx who know anything? Why are us fans been messed around with all the time. First it was ticket refunds and now this book.

I also have such problem, stil havent got the tracking number and i work all the day, nobody is at home...I am ready to pay all taxes, but if there is no tracking number...i will not get mine((( What to do?
 
This is the absolute last time I pre-order any expensive Michael Jackson related things......

1st Tickets, in which if the concerts actually happened, nobody would of received theirs in time.

Now this book, even though they promised everyone who brought the book before the end of September will receive their, most people probably won't.

Why does everybody hate us????????
 
Got my opus today its beautiful. Only 1 glove and no reality card. I emailed them will probally never hear back from them. I never received a tracking number. The fedex guy left a package but it wasn't mine but luckily I went out to look and he was next door delivering a package I had her package and she had my opus. So I yelled to him. So keep a eye out you never know whats going to happen. I live in Ny.

Well I'm in California and I've got no Opus yet. I have a tracking number, but putting it into the FedEx website gives me nothing. *cries* I think my mom sent an email about the order (it hasn't even been charged yet) no reply yet. I want my Opus! :(
 
So now it's a problem with weather on the boat ride over, customs problems and FedEx/Ticketmaster/Kraken Opus not knowing their heads from their arses...

I think they don't hate us... I think they know for sure how much we love Michael and how extremely patient we are. As I told yesterday: we have been WAITING for many years now, different things... you know... now it's only "stuff", nothing for real :( And we keep waiting.

No doubt: THE MOST PATIENT FANS EVER!!!
 
i'm a little scared about my opus. i still haven't got my email with tracking number. i'm scared that i'll get my book after christmas or ... :( i'm from Poland, is there anyone from Europe who have already got opus?

I have the same exact story. fed ex searched by my name and address and had nothing on me in their system. They even said that they don't send out tracking numbers. it is the shippers responsibility to send them out.
 
I called fedex last night and they said they couldn't find me in their system, but they delivered this morning. strange huh but just glad to get it finally.

:clapping: Seconding this. I was really looking forward to using the two gloves, because I want to keep the pages in mint condition. No fingerprint marks and the like. How am I supposed to do that with a book this big and only one glove?

If they had said they were only going to send one, I would have prepared and bought my own. But they didn't. On their website they said they were going to send two, and the photo also shows two. I just want what I paid for, and for them to keep their word with what's going to be included. :glare: They ought to send the extra glove out with the Reality Cards.

That's false advertising. :no: Looking through a book that heavy is awkward enough, now you can only turn the pages with one hand? :crazy: Yeah, I know "Michael only used one glove," but it wasn't because he was concerned about leaving fingerprints on the microphone.
 
Feck, feck FECK! I ordered through the times bookshop- I don't think I'll be able to stand it if I don't get my OPUS in time for Christmas!
I will phone them again tommorow
 
i got the opus a few minutes ago. i didn't get a tracking #emailed so it was a surprise for me to get it.

the mail man was nice enough to bring it inside the house, because it is HEAVY. I think the opus weighs more than I do.

i have scanned through the book, i haven't read any of the articles.

there are some pics that i have not seen before.

as you go through the book, just merely looking at the pics reminds you of Michael's humanity, his sacrifice, his genius, his innocence....
Michael presence in music and pics will always bring me joy but by the end of the book I am again left with an overwhelming sense of loss and sadness :cry:

i hope everyone who order will get there's soon. i hope we can start a thread to talk about the different pics and tributes.
 
I received my tracking number from FedEx today. The book is due to arrive on December 22.

"Weight 13.0 kg/28.7 lbs". :wild:

Question for anyone who ordered the book with The Times - Have you been charged for the book yet? Not only I haven't received it but I haven't been charged yet... I am a bit worried...
 
i still haven't got my tracking number and i'm from HK:(
sighh. i don't think i can get it before Christmas.
