Well I just called FedEx they said it takes 2 days but the problem is that they don’t deliver on weekends. For those who haven’t received the tracking nr you will get it later today or tomorrow. He said they are scanning everything in UK right now it takes time and they are soooo heavy. =) He even said if you know you are not going to be at home when they come you can call them 2 days before to give them another address or just leave your phone nr so they can call you for a new delivery date. But he said don’t call now about changing anything they have to scan everything first. Tomorrow is ok. And call your local FedEx not UK for address change, if you don’t live there of course . :)

Hello, I'm also from Russia.
1) Originally they were going to send books via DHL Express, it means that non-taxable limit anyway would be 5000 RUR
2) If exchange rate is higher than 30.3 RUR/USD (5000 RUR / 165 USD=30.3) on the day the book is on customs, we will need to pay huge taxes. For tomorrow exchange rate 30.4, while today it is 30.2. So it is fortune for us.
3) FedEx really has special strange rules in our country, I have asked about it here http://community.livejournal.com/virtualshopping/2352704.html
4) FedEx has no customs brokerage license in Russia, so we will have no chance to receive our books by paying for brokerage service as we do in case of UPS or DHL. Probably they simply return our books to KrakenOpus if price will be higher than tax free limit of 5000 RUR :(

I contacted Opus by phone on Monday and told them my worries about FedEx delivery to Russia. They said that FedEx will probably use third-party delivery to solve this problem. But I'm still anxious. We can have huge problems if FedEx won't do it this way. May be you can call to Opus too? It is interesting what they will say to you.
 
Yes I'm anxious to know as well! I ordered from the Times but I don't know if they give tracking numbers and things like that. I wonder what they will do for the Opus reality cards! Will it be them who sends it or Kraken Opus?

I hate to wait wait and wait. First the concert tickets then the trip to London I changed the date since I did not want to go on 16 of July anymore we went for his birthday instead. Then there was that Tribute we went to Vienna it got cancelled I had to wait for ages to get my ticket and even longer for receive my money back. I loved Vienna it was a beautiful city, Now this :doh: … What do I do for MJ well I would probably walk to Antarctica for him I just miss him soooooooo much. :cry:

I just got my Opus! The Fed Ex guy just left. I just checked my email to see if I was sent a tracking number, but nope, nothing there. I'm in NY, so hopefully everyone else will be getting theirs today too!!

I did ring them last week and thay said thay will be all delieved before xmas but i just dont know if thats the truth and not sure how we will get the cards either as we havent ordered straight though the company,why cant it ever go right grrrr arggg,wish things were easy :(xoxox

if it's by express courier, delivery price also included in total taxable sum :( So, with 195$ we are out of 5000rub range :(

But I kinda relaxed if it would be delivered by FedEx and, as you say, they can't do customs, they won't be demanding more money from us (as for DHL , even if you would do clearance by yourself, that would "ask" for about 60$ for their "services"! )
 
I guess tomorrow, we'll find out if Kraken Opus will keep their promise to us or not!!!!

I called them on Monday and they said it would be dispatched Monday/Tuesday which never happened, then I called them yesterday and they were waiting on stock ......and now called them this morning and she said that they will get them in today and depending where I am on the list I should have it by the middle of next week.

She said that they won't be sending out tracking numbers but it will just turn up by Interlink.

Here's the telephone number if someone wants to give them a call to see what they say to them - 0845 2712134.

The more we pester the more they will want to do something about it?!

I will presume that Kraken will have a list of our names and will forward the cards onto us too direct?! First things first - I want my OPUS before Christmas! please!:)

Anyone else with anymore new on the Times customers?

(oh and my 100th post - yipee!)

Have you been keeping up with the thread? :p I don't think we'll get them tomorrow, it's more likely to be next Tuesday/Wednesday :)
 
Has anyone in the states other than in California or NewYork receive their Opus yet?

Doesn't seem like it so far, but they seem to be clearing customs in most cases today I think :)

I don't think it will come to regular bookstores. Only the Opus store & I think Saks fifth Avenue in the US might carry it. I have no idea if any canadian stores will have it, maybe Ogilvy. It is the only high end store that I can think of here is Montreal.

Check Amazon, they will have it fairly soon. They are out of stock now, but they will be getting some later on.

Mine was ordered last September from Ticketmaster, so I am hoping it gets here ASAP. Otherwise, I won't get it before Xmas.

Ok, I can do this actually.
I live "near" the Antartica... I mean... way nearer than all of you :D
but you see? If I live this far, you can tell my Opus is going to arrive first to the penguins in our Antartica base than to me.

I am no longer upset, I am SAD. I am sad for it really makes no difference to book this one day or the other. If you don't leave in the USA or Europe, you will have to simply sit and wait and keep your fingers crossed :cry:

There is no single feedback from Kraken, I miss Michael very much this morning and last night I had this confusing nightmare. And MJ was not in the dream, but it was.... Jermain!!!!!!! and I was so confused, I wanted to see Michael!!!!

aaagggggggghhhh!!! I need some relieve... please bring my Opus soon. I will share it with the penguins if you want me to, but only if they use both globes... and there is only ONE globe... aaawwww :(

I just got off the phone again with Ticketmaster. I told the lady I was told Monday I would be receiving tracking no. in a few days and have had nothing yet.

Get this. Lady told me it has nothing to do with them and they know nothing. I told her I bought it from you, which she replied, "No you bought it from Opus, they will deliver it by the end of December." I told her we were promised by Christmas we would have it. To which again I was told it was nothing to do with Ticketmaster. I said how come man on Monday told me to expect tracking no. in a few days. Woman just refused to talk about it.

I am even more mad now.
