Hi, friends!!! Thanks so much for all your love, messages en prayers. I am glad to confirm my family and me are ok, no problems. Unfortunately, the country is really a mess. A terrible and painful mess. We really don't know exactly what is going on, since communications are difficult, main high ways have many problems.

I am sorry I hadn't posted here before, but you surely will understand why :( I posted in the thread you did about the earthquake.

I thank you very, very much for your love, care and support. Love you all!!!! This are extremely painful times for us, most of us are numb and shocked, but ... we have to move on. I have been even unable to listen to any music. No mood to do so :no:

Mine was ordered in November and I still don't have it. I'm hoping it will arrive this week though!! Cannot wait!
 
Ok, for people in Israel, I just called them, and that's the message I got: "The books are being labeled next Tuesday and sent to Israel.
 
oh please, I hope they are telling the truth. I want my Opus NOW! How long can I wait?I ordered it on September.
I'm beyond disappointed with their service. If the book will not arrive soon, I'm asking for a refund.

haha, they are promising to send the books to Russia next tuesday too. a week ago they promised last monday.
 
Friends: I just forgot to mention a very important thing.
I got my Opus on February 26, you know. But I was very confused and trying to reach FedEx about it, since Andy and others from Kraken had confirmed a number of times they were using FedEx. It turned out to be not the case, since they used a local Chilean distribution company, very fast and etc, but never FedEx. I really have no single idea how they deal with deliveries, but if FedEx has no information about your Opus, just be ready to be ready to receive the book without any tracking numbers at all. That was my case, we in Chile received no single tracking information and I was really lucky to received the book the 26, since some few hours later we had the wild earthquake and communications turned into a mess.

In short: IT IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT, simply because Kraken is not telling us what they are really doing.

Good point? Besides getting the book (I Love it!), we had to pay no single taxes. Nothing. What they did and how they did it... I don't know, but I am glad they managed (if you buy the book now at michaeljackson.com, you would have to pay USD$100 in taxes and USD$148 in shipment!

for anyone wondering about the reality card...
my boyfriend rang kraken today and they said they would send me one on monday, apparently they have them there!!! i know people have been told things before and nothing has actually materialised so i am waiting with baited breath. they said they would send the extra glove also.
 
They also promised to send mine to Denmark ages ago and nothings happened. I might have to call them again and give them a bit of a blowing up.
 
I truly believe Kraken just can't be trusted.
Sad as it sounds, that is the truth. No reality card, no second glove, no special painting/drawing from Nate (as they offered to "compensate" the late delivery), no translations, no FedEx delivery, no tracking numbers, no WEB SITE to use the reality cards and worst of all: NO SINGLE OFFICIAL INFORMATION!!!!
 
I agree PCR. You can't trust what they say because they never follow through with anything! They were supposed to arrange a replacement for my damaged Opus in January. I've had to keep chasing them up on the situation. Finally they promised a same day response via email to organize it all. It was CC'D to three employees of Opus. Yet some how not even one can make a reply to me to let me know what is going on. It's been more than a month!

I'd actually be okay with waiting as long as they would truthfully explain the situation instead of lying and making empty promises. I've also yet to receive an opus reality code/card as well. It seems like I'm not even in their database because I ordered from the Times.
 
I think we should complain about the cards. It is now March for goodness sake. How do we make formal complaints? I'm going to start looking into this.

There is no single problem with you , the problem is Kraken and their delivery.
I live in Chile and I am still waiting for my book. Their priority was only UK, USA, Germany, France... and then the rest of the world. And we, certainly, are not its priority at all. I don't mean any bad to our friends who did receive their books on due time, I am just frustrated about Kraken and their poor service and lack of information.

My only suggestion is writing to Kraken to try to have some feedback from them, otherwise, they will not contact you :(

Don't understand what is taking them so long. What's the point of the preorder if you end up getting your book after everybody else?

Did they tell you if they will also send the special print as a compensation?
 
I nearly forgot about the interactive card or whatever its called & the special print!
Did anyone end up getting that print?

I think I was one of the lucky ones and received my Opus just before Christmas. I'm absolutely delighted with it but think its time the company sorted themselves out and started sending out the rest of what we have paid for. Weren't we meant to get these cards in January?
 
I only bought the OPUS for the special reality to be honest.... where is the card???

Yes, none of us has received the card and, according to Kraken, none will, since they decided they will send NO cards, but only codes which we will be able to use one they have the website with that "very special technology". Most of us have the codes, but LOL.... the site is not done :mello:

They keep playing with us time after time.

Ridiculous. It's getting well into March and still nothing about the reality cards and loads of people still don't have the book! And no communication! Not on at all.
