Is great it arrives in perfect condition, mine unfortunally is damaged :(
 
I still haven't received my two copies, and I ordered them in October of last year.

Can anyone offer any assistance or advice? I'm in Canberra, Australia, and I know that other people in Canberra have already received their copies weeks ago.

Who? I live in Australia. If I speak to Ticketmaster Australia, they tell me it's not their issue and they'll pass on my concerns to Ticketmaster in the United States, who I am yet to hear back from.

There is, essentially, nobody I can contact about this.
 
Mine arrived just before Xmas, but I was away from home at the time. I picked it up from a neighbor on 28th December, opened it up immediately, only to find that, although the outer box was immaculate, the book cover was slightly damaged. My wife was more upset than me, as she had bought it as my Xmas present.

I have been speaking to Kraken continuously during the last 6 weeks, been given various delivery dates and promises, but I am still waiting. They seem to be unable to do anything right as far as I can see.

The damage to my book is very slight, a few millimeters on the leading edge of the book, but for something this 'special' (and expensive!), it should be perfect.

I'm so fed up with the whole thing - I don't think they will ever replace it! - so, if anyone want a very slightly damged MJ Opus, they can have mine for £99 plus delivery!

Kraken are a joke!
 
OPUS Reality

has anyone gotten this yet?? they said we will have it by January, I stil dont have mine and got so fed up and sent them this msg two minutes ago.

"I have been waiting for my "OPUS Reality" to come through and it still has not! I have grown very impatient with you guys, first my OPUS is delivered late, with only one glove, and no OPUS Reality, of course, and then you say we will have it by January at the latest. You sent me an email about it in January, saying coming soon. Well that is not good enough. I have paid for it and would like to have it. What is taking so long?"

I'm also waiting for my Opus and by coincidence I received this email today:



Dear customer,

Opus Media Group would like to apologise for the delay in delivering your Opus. The vast majority of our customers have received their Opus, but there are still some orders outstanding. We have experienced some further issues in our delivery network, but are confident that these have now been sorted out and that we will be despatching your Opus to you within the next 7 days.

but they say that the opus is simply a printable card..an that they will post interactive stuff on the site that each fan can see usinc a code that they have sent.....
that is all.... no card will be sent...
 
Check your books very carefully when they arrive. It seems a few have been received damaged, althought often the outer packaging seems perfect. This is because books are being damaged before they are packed and sent, possibly due to the weight and size of them.

If some of you haven't yet opened and looked at your book, possibly because of being emotional etc., then you may be disappointed when you do.

I hope this is not the case but, if it does happen, the service from Kraken, in replacing the damaged book, is shocking!

They decided to only send one glove as it was another tribute to Michael since he only wore one glove. I've gotten an e-mail about the reality card stating something like this.

We would just like to keep you informed about Opus Reality, an
online experience at krakenopus.com available to every owner of the
Official Michael Jackson Opus.

It has taken a little longer than we originally expected but we are
excited to let you know that we are in the process of finalizing the
content that will form the launch of the Michael Jackson Opus Reality

I got mine book when promisedin December. I did get an email explaining the reality card is taking longer than expected. Wasn't aware of a print though.

I think its for people who received theirs after Christmas when they promised before Christmas!


I got mine before Christmas so I'm unable to get one!!!!!!!!!
 
I finally got mine a week ago, ITs absolutly BEAUTIFUL!! and its so huge and heavy, I have no idea where to put it lol
 
Mine has been sitting in my room, at my apt, since a week before Christmas and I'm finally going to be home on Sunday - I CANNOT wait to open it and see it!!!!! :wild:

The 12th has come and gone and, as I expected, nothing about my book.
NO single information. I just don't know if I should keep waiting for this thing or simply ask for a refund. This goes beyond any reasonable delay. It's more than 2 months late!!!!

And what about the cards??? I am sick to know we must print them, but this is so silly: THEY STILL HAVE NO SITE FOR IT!!!!

So I just wonder... what is this?????

Well, I used to make jokes about me being like the "Symbol child" of the thread, but this is not funny anymore. I am not willing to waste more money to make a long (very long!) distance call from Chile to UK just to talk to someone polite who will be soooo charming and will give me a new date which will not be the real. I will write them again. And I will leave again to take another trip far form the city. It's my vacations! And I have to be worried about a book arriving. There's something wrong with me too! I should have stopped this long ago and asked them for a refund. But now I have waited so long that I am stuck! I can cancell... but what if the book is just about to arrive?

This is chaos!

I am looking forward to the day I can finally post the "MY OPUS HAS JUST ARRIVED!!!" :wild: ... but I am afraid it is not any time near :no:
 
PCR this is absolutely ridiculous and they should be embarrassed. Can you cancel and re-order? I know that seems ludicrous – but I just can’t understand why you don’t have your OPUS yet.

This has got to be the worst story of customer service I have ever read. No joke!

It's a Catch-22. In my opinion, they should refund you the money and send you a copy at no cost. This is ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable and unreasonable.
 
i've just been wondering... has anyone had a reply from kraken ragarding the whole 'printing the reality card' thing? cuz i just find it unacceptable. how do they seriously think we will accept that when we paid for a card?
did someone say that they actually showed a 'card' when they were showing off the opus on some american tv show? THAT is what we paid for, i only got the damn thing cuz i thought it would be special. a piece of paper with something printed onto it with my crappy printer is not special!!!!
man, i really hate being ripped off grrrrrr
 
I have recieved my unique number for the reality card via email, that was over a week ago but nothing since....
PCR...what can i say hun! this is just shocking. I have never heard of such bad customer service..Kraken Opus stink. I also look forward to the day i come in this thread and see...
