STAFF: just a sudgestion..

By the looks at the past IDK 40 pages?? It went from NEWS to trash talking and defending..

Should we open another thread to let people fight it out and keep this one for NEWS and INFO about the song/single?

Obviously some got a lot on there chest that they gotta let out.. Both this thread and todays news thread are having the SAME topic.. which is hating and defending the song.. Why not just have a thread JUST for that?

There's no trash talking here and if it is, it will be cleaned. We aren't opening a thread for peeps who don't like the song. They can say that on the threads already started.

We aren't going to have drama over this either.
 
well maybe 'trash' talking is not the right word..

But some fans come in here to find out updates and cannot find it because it's hidden within pages and pages of..

"it's a crap song"

"No it's good"

"I don't like it"

"what do you expect, it's an Akon song."

"But MJ's on it."


and so on.. I took part in the back and forth too.. lol! but some of us made it harder for the other fans that just want to know what's up.. lol!

Some of us were joking around, lol. As far as I see, no fights...not even that much drama, just a little disagreements but that's about it. And probably two or three people that were openly negative... I guess.
 
I went to pick up my dad from Wynn today.. and all the employees were lookin' at us like.. "Hmm woaaah" kinna thing, cause when they passed by you can hear the Hold My Hand song (it's was kinna loud but oh well :D ) from our car window. :hysterical: Got peoples attention.. I think they like it too. :shifty:

Good Lord, I can't keep up with this thread! but by the looks of it a bit of bickering was going on so I obviously have not missed anything big. To each his own I say but at the same time we should all try to be respectful of each others posts, except the obvious trolls who have recently joined to wreck havoc.
 
Maybe they are in the middle of making a music video. Maybe thats why they are so quiet. Just my speculation folks.

From what I can tell, this is new! New Michael Jackson vocals! Akon always writes with the same cadence but this song…NEW MICHAEL JACKSON. And he sounds good! I don’t hate it at all!!


Excuse me while I go lay on my prayer mat and thank Sweet Minty Jesus! Even if he has blessed me via Akon (meh), I will still give him thanks LOL. Now I need to go back to praying for a new Brandy song to leak — I hear the sessions on the new material have been hot!

Everybody loves Michael. Deep down. See though how ALL of the hype is over Michael? That's what I've been saying. The excitment is over him. People are expectent and just plain curious too.

Does anyone know if Michael's Camp Said anything about this? (BTW Heard it on Flo 93.5 Here in Toronto Yesterday).

EDIT: Also don't know if this is important but I also hear Xscape on the same station every once and a while, one of the DJ's has to be a huge fan

Yeah That's what I've always thought, but I believe when it first leaked it was titled "Xscape", so I just went with it.lol.

I think MJ held back at the end of the song (the ad-libs), it seemed too calm for him. I think he did this 'cause it's Akon's track, and god knows he could've blown Akon out of the water if he wanted to, lol.

Gahahahaha!! THE REVIEWS ARE KILLIN' ME lol!!! This is like...AMAZING, I mean...is this really happening???? There is no way in hell MJ fans are holding in down like this! these are EVERDAY FOLK NOT US HARDCORE FANS :ph34r: and there are all these POSITIVE comments....where the f*ck are the haters???(in a shallow ditch I hope,anyway) IMO I have never seen this type of vibe around MJ since like Dangerous era with peps being so :wild: over MJ. Thank God, I am lovin' every minute of this, as devoted fans lets all enjoy this, do ya'll realize how far everything has come? from the nightmare of the trial/sony/etc, to RIGHT NOW!? Is this the Twilight zone cause I don't want to wake up!!:punk:
 
Didn't I say all along though that people were highly anticipating Michael's comeback? Even if they talk smack, curiosity alone gets them, and then when they hear and see him, they forget all that hateration and just stand in awe.

Your last couple of posts are so on point and make so much sense. You are exactly right. I did feel that way when I read the comments because it is more like saying that we are all wrong or crazy for liking it or something. I can completely understand someone not feeling this song. I love it, but not everyone will, and that's fine.
To answer another question that was asked, I don't like it just because I haven't heard a song by Michael in a long time. It's hard to explain though. I'm a fan of Michael's because his voice and how he sings appeals to me immensely, so I guess I do automatically like anything he sings more than the average person. But I like the song because it appeals to me. I just think Michael sounds amazing on it, and it's catchy, I like the beginning and the ending, they sound great together, etc.
Mello was right about a song not being popular based on how "deep" it is though. Look at Mariah's latest hit "Touch my body". Not anything deep there, but it was played on the radio ALL THE TIME, and it was very popular. It's catchy and easy to sing along with.

It's gone 180; this is just ONE song! and it ain't even his!!!

Can u imagine when the album hits! God, I'm really enjoying this moment, we all should. We keep complaining about all the haters and now they're nowhere to be found...oh joyous times!!! :cloud9:

I think we're just all really excited to be hearin' Michael's angelic voice on a song for a while now, considering all the sh*t he's been through. It just reminded me of Michael Jackson the musician, instead of Michael Jackson the tabloid target (now that i see him as that often but... you know). Nothin' else even matters now, I'm so happy.

Oh boy... I can hear the fireworks right outside now, :girl_love:

Exactly! nowhere to be found! I am on such a high from those reviews lol! Over the past days I read, and read the responses from the 'what non fans think about HMH' thread..and then I come in hear and read what Rebirth posted and its just...too much :D:wub: I just want to savor this moment, this time and era cause it will go by fast but only lead to much greater things. So I am going to burn this whole timeframe into my mind and heart, goodtimes...goodtimes :cheers:
