We may not know what's going on with the song "Hold My Hand." We may not know if Akon is upset for real or if it's all a front but, there is one thing that we do know for sure and that is...OUR MAN, MIKE, SOUNDS GREAT!!

SO, peep this, y'all. If the song "Hold My Hand" for some reason does not officially leave the starting gate...which I don't see why it wouldn't...we can at least continue looking forward to this....

Our man's album is on its way! Mr. Melody is feelin' A-OK!! We just heard him! The sound of joy is in his voice and HIS voice is going to be all over HIS album.

Either way it goes, we're cool.

lol, yeah really. They are! I think you are right about what they did though. It was leaked, and we had it for a full day, and then today it was all yanked. It was enough time for it to create quite a stir though!

Well, if it was leaked on purpose (not saying it was; what do I know lol) in order to see what the general consensus was about the song, then I guess they must have been pleased with all the overwhelmingly positive responses. So now that they've seen how much people like it, they can go ahead and release it! No?

Exactly. The song was leaked in freaking CD quality for a start and was left online for over 24 hours. The response was so massive that they could have taken it down within a few hours, just like they did with the T25 mixes when they were leaked (in bad quality mind you). It didn't appear to be unintentional to me at all. :cheeky:

Did anybody else happen see this video, is it online anywhere? Just curious, cause there isn't any video of Akon talking about the leaked song on TMZ.com, nor was he shown on TMZ's show (despite the clip apparently being a TMZ clip that aired on E!). I didn't see this on E! Daily 10, nor on E! News or any other that I watched. :unsure:

I think it's still going to come out. The song is perfect. It blew up right away. If that was a dry run, it was a very successful one.

And you know what Michael just proved in this song? He just proved that he STILL knows how to have fun with music. He's having fun with this song.

Exactly. It'll be DUMB of him to say he didn't like it being leaked when he's the one that went all over the world yelling from the mountaintops that MJ would be on the first single on his new album. Might as well release it now and shut up about it.

I don't know, the demo was as long as this was minus the piano solo at the end.

It took me forever to read through this thread... by the time I clicked on the latest YouTube links, they were gone :(

Glad I got the song yesterday... been playing it nonstop. I soooo love Mike's voice.

Does anyone know how Sony is connected with this, to be pulling the videos? I thought Mike is no longer under their label.

I just played this song for a friend of mine, who is not a fan by any means. After hearing it twice, she loved it and was humming it all night long. :)

I definately think there's something going on with the song. The leaking was intentional. Otherwise... there are some very naïve people working at the label.

But as far as 'something going on' is concerned: I mailed the song to a Dutch dj. Did this before with things, and he ALWAYS answers my mails. And he did play the 'Gangster' song that was out there last year. This time around, he's not playing the song (and he's a huge Jackson-fan) and he's not answering my mails about it. So.... am I reading too much into it, or is there a deal of some sort with the record company for a certain date?

by the way: the videoclip I made of the song, will be available on utube within the next 15 minutes. I removed it myself yesterday when I went to bed. Better to remove it myself, than get a warning. Now I'm uploading it again for a short period of time, so more people can see and hear. Wanna see?

No, he was learned a lesson: don't play something unless you're sure of it, lol. He made that mistake playing "Gangster" with 2001 MJ vocals. :lol:
