They better release this as a single. It would be plain stupid not to.

It's a good song, but Michael's vocals make it a great song, period. He adds an emotion and a feeling to it that simply wouldn't be there without him.

Michael know he was sounding like he is straight up 22. His voice was so light-airy and smoooooooooooooooooooth. That first part blew me away. Man his voice is amazing. It was SOOOOOOOO REFRESHING.

Ya know even aKorn's voice is alright too:yes:. But michael did the THANG. Straight up. Lord I pray this is released so I can get the single. This song is prefect for the radio.

One thing I noticed but I could be wrong is that, didn't it seem like michael held back on the ad-libing and when him and akorn sang together. I guess because it's akorn's song michael didn't want to blow him out the water. lol. But on the first verse and the end michael did his THANG. This is GR88888888T!:clapping:

I can't wait for what else is to come. :wild:

Well, what is funny is they are protecting this collaboration so much yet there are Thriller 25 songs all over YouTube. So perhaps that is the sign that there is true intention for future release.

Michael always holds back. I don't know why, but he does. He still came in there though kicking ass and taking names. Nobody else is that good.

Yes He does hold back. But even with that, his vocals still are nothing short of amazing.

Also I love how michae subtly added emotion and attitude to the song when he sung. Like after the end of the first verse just before the chorus michael says, "so if yah juUUUSSSSSSSSSSt!" Michael betsta GO, wit his bad self. lol

I love michael on this song. I would love to hear it in better quality tho'!

I don't know what is truly going on here regarding why the song was deleted from youtube. However, what I think could be going on is that maybe the song was leaked to see how the public would react. When they (the people who leaked the song) felt that they had enough reactions, they decided to get rid of the song. Akon being mad or angry that the song was leaked could be a PR thing. I think that maybe he knew who leaked the song and those people told him the reactions and when Akon saw the paps, he decided to act all angry about it. So, what I am trying to basically say that maybe this whole leak-the-song-online-see-reaction-tell-Akon-about-the-reaction-and-Akon-"pretending"-to-get-mad-about-it-to-the-paps is all Pr.

I hope you guys understood what I was saying.

I think I know what your saying.. Your saying basically that the song "leaked"....they put the song out there purposefully to figure out what public reaction would be. Now they've "pulled the plug on it", knowing how the public reacted to this new song. I agree with you...What better way to know how the public would react other than "leaking" this song "accidentally", wait a few days, then "pull the plug" on it....Very shrewd, IMO.

I don't think that Akon's anger is superficial. I think he is really angry about the leak. I don't think they wanted the song to be released before they announced it's release. That way they could get everybody all excited and anticipating the song on the radio. And I can not believe that any radio station would illegally play the song. That is just wrong.

And it says that this "leak" was from someone close to Jackson. Well, then how come only NOW that the song leaks (since MJ has been recording for several months), and only just one lol? It just seemed out of the blue, for a few months the original Akon Hold My Hand was on Youtube, and no one put it down. Now that the MJ one is out, they pulled ALL of the videos regarding the song. So it must mean that something is coming soon, or that things are almost finished being brought together.. lol idk just sayin what's on my mind. Could be anything..

My 10 cents...

As others have said, songs are "leaked" on purpose all the time.

Remember some thought those T25 remixes might just be demos but they weren't.

Gives them an idea how much of the promo budget can be spent elsewhere maybe, I guess.

Maybe Akon is mad that it got airplay, moreso than anything else.

It's part of the game, akons not mad.. belive me.

With so much attention it's getting now he should be happy. The reason why thriller25 remix leaks weren't pulled imo was because: 1 it was a remixes, 2 it was Mikes classic album, 3 there was no new vocals from michael on the tracks so poeple kinda was forced to like the mixes, the promotion had allready begun. And remember there was now demand on the album.

This one however has been hyped up since february, it features MICHAEL, with all brand new vocals since practically Vince. The demand is there, is michael able to sing after what he went through? How does he sound at nearly 50? and will it be any good? These are all major factors.
The generel public is interested because michael is STILL relevant, and will allwyas be.

Just ask yourself this question, would Hold My Hand leak without michael be so popular around the net???

The snowball is rolling and it's a matter of time before it gets bigger and hits everyone ;)


So...Akon, nice try, but I'm not bying it:)

How can we know If akon is mad or not. We ain't in his head so I wouldn't be so quick to say akon ain't mad. They weren't keeping thing on the HUSHHH HUSHH for no reason now where they!
