There wouldn't be any formal reviews yet. The song has not been formally released. It has been released for preview on the internet; however, that usually doesn't stir up the music critics to say too much.

Bob Marley started from somewhere. He was not always a legend and he in fact made some crappy songs before he became recognised. He didn't have very good vocals either. I never sdaid Akon would be bigger than bob. I said he had the Potential to be as big as bob.

Yes, I do compare them because akon do reminds me of Bob.

Thank you, Bob Marley is my countryman. he came from my mothers district and he sang about places I 've known. I do not know Akon, but he does reminds me of our caribbean legends when he sings. I think that may be why he is so big in the caribbean.

A new song from the collaborative work of Akon with the king of pop Michael Jackson has just been streamed. The new track that could be one of the R 'n' B singer's new songs from his upcoming album "Acquitted" is being titled "Hold My Hand".

Akon himself has previously confirmed to the press that he wants Michael to be singing on one of the songs from the new LP and also will set the track as the lead single. "It's a worldwide record. The record is so huge. It's too big. (Michael's) the only person I could have collaborated with," he said.

Beside working with the pop legend on his album, the Senegalese singer reportedly also teams up with Michael to work on the "Beat It" hit maker's new studio set. According to the news, the two musicians have already started to record the new songs for the legendary singer's new LP in a studio in L.A. sometime in April.

What is the possibility for Hold My Hand - Akon featuring Michael Jackson to be nominated for Grammy Award - Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals?

Michael scored a nomination with Janet before on Grammy Awards of 1996.

a friend of my from Durham text me randomly and said 'OMG they played hold my hand on Galaxy and they reckoned it will be big news my 2mz because its MJs first song since 2003'

She isnt a MJ fan or anything lol but she loves it

How do you know for sure it is for Akon's album? I think Akon had expect that the focus will be at mike..

^^ well the focus is towards Michael appereaing in Akons NEW album.. so I don't think Akons see that as a problem, but I know what you mean...:)

Akon could prolly give a shit who is featured ... He is the one that is making the majority of the money off the single/album. MJ means publicity ... he is doing his job :lol:

This dude ... and I mean a big dude,** his name was Beau ;) ** told him to shut the hell up as he took a sip of his beer. :lol: it was so calm, cool and effortless... like, be quiet or else, because I am enjoying this and you make me fuck you up, you're gonna ruin my moment :giggle: I gave Beau the 411, so that he can find the file when he gets home.

The song created a very positive oooey gooey atomosphere, among a complete potpouri of people. Normally it is a very greasy, ruff, gear head crowd, with some teenagers out pretending they are grown and a few familys strolling around looking at the hot rods. Tonight they were all MJ/Akon fans enjoying a song ... about ten times in a row :lol:
