The papers are talking about the song today and surprise surprise their putting a negetive twist on it. They said it was an ok song and as usual they couldn't resist bringing up the trial

Wow, amazing. Was just thinking a few days ago how MJ's vocals are the ONLY thing missing from this song and interestingly his vocals add EVERYTHING (no offense Akon, cause its a great song), funny what a difference 1 MJ makes :lol:

Michael Jackson Releases Brand New Song With Akon

A new song by rapper Akon which features guest vocals from Michael Jackson has appeared online.

The song, entitled 'Hold My Hand', is understood to be the product of the pair's recent studio collaboration.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Akon is said to be producing Jackson's as-yet-untitled new studio album.

Fans' reaction to the song on various websites has been mostly positive, with one declaring that Jackson's vocals are “the return of the king.”

Another said: “So..after all this time Michael Jacksons still got it! He sounds great.”

Every time I listen to MJ music, I don't mind at al if I put it on repeat and play it nonstop! The same with this song, it doesn't get old, it just keeps getting better!! I love that about MJ music

A new song from the collaborative work of Akon with the king of pop Michael Jackson has just been streamed. The new track that could be one of the R 'n' B singer's new songs from his upcoming album "Acquitted" is being titled "Hold My Hand".

Akon himself has previously confirmed to the press that he wants Michael to be singing on one of the songs from the new LP and also will set the track as the lead single. "It's a worldwide record. The record is so huge. It's too big. (Michael's) the only person I could have collaborated with," he said.

Beside working with the pop legend on his album, the Senegalese singer reportedly also teams up with Michael to work on the "Beat It" hit maker's new studio set. According to the news, the two musicians have already started to record the new songs for the legendary singer's new LP in a studio in L.A. sometime in April.

looks like we got a day of it anyways. They are starting to take them down for 3rd party copyright claim on youtube..(quick someone put it on under a different name :lol: jk). So does that mean maybe a release soon?

Also, guys, don't forget to listen to the radio. It is a possibility that they might play the single on the radio. Keep your ears open. Also, itunes.com might have the song on their site.

:wub::wild::clapping: OMG, Michael's voice is like a gift from Heaven to me. It's so incredibly beautiful, and he does blend very well with Akon, as others have said. I posted about it on myspace, and my sister told me she kind of liked it (which is good cuz she's not a fan of MJ's at all). She said they sound good together.
My fave parts are Michael's at the beginning and then the part around 2:20 when it picks up the tempo and is kind of like singing in a round. I love that! It makes me feel so happy! :dancin:
