If u read back my posts I already said I like the song and I think it's nice move for Michael. Sure it's no secret that Akon's not a good vocalist huh :lol:

Yes, I thanked Akon at the very start. I believe both MJ and Akon are 'Holding each others hand at this point. MJ helping him to be a better artist and Akon helping MJ up our of the morass that he is in right now, giving him the strength and encouragement to sing to the world again, which is what he needed. Thank you to all the hiphop artists that have been holdong MJ's hand and bringing him back to the spotlight.:D

Akon has a good voice and brought something different to the scene.

one thing i find funny is that some folk obviously heard one track four years ago where he sampled in high pitch yet they still go on about "his chipmunk voice" :\

Michael Jackson Releases Brand New Song With Akon

A new song by rapper Akon which features guest vocals from Michael Jackson has appeared online.

The song, entitled 'Hold My Hand', is understood to be the product of the pair's recent studio collaboration.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Akon is said to be producing Jackson's as-yet-untitled new studio album.

Fans' reaction to the song on various websites has been mostly positive, with one declaring that Jackson's vocals are “the return of the king.”

Another said: “So..after all this time Michael Jacksons still got it! He sounds great.”

'Hold My Hand' was first leaked on youtube on June 29thhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=196IZGONLcw. Then on June 30th an hq mp3 started surfacing the web along with two other unreleased Akon's songs (Saviour Tonite and Tomorrow (HitLab Remix))

Akon's new album is supposed to be released in the upcoming weeks.

You may know that Akon will start his Canadian tour in Montreal on next July 9th (http://allaccesstoday.com/tourhq/tourshow.php?function=showtours&siteID=149). Hopefully he'll perform Hold My Hand.

^is scheduled to be released in August i think. Single for July + video. Supposed to be the 1st single of Akon's album Acquitted.

The thing that Amazed me when looking @ NON-MJ Fans reactions on other sites, It was all POSITIVE. Said that They were glad to hear MJ's Voice. and that AKON Ruined it...lol...:cheeky:And some of those ppl. are MJ haterz.:blink:(I know right):smilerolleyes: It was clear that Since MJ Was taking a break from the Music sene, ppl. ACTUALLY DIDNT Take the time of the day to Go and buy the albums of the New artists. :no:They just download it from a site or something. :yes:

IT WAS Michael that Had us go out and BUY His albums, because everything about it is so PERFECT!!!:punk: He started that when Thriller came out. And Now We're gonna go out and buy all his album. ummm...I'm getting excited for the "rest of the world"(lol-besides us Michaelers, i mean) to hear the song!!!!!!!!! u CANTdeny mj's voice even if u dont like him!!!!

I refuse to look there, or believe it. It is mine. The way Akon's song is Akon's song but really it's MJ's.

OMG - this song is fcucking excellent!! I haven't heard this style from MJ before - it's kind of reggae!! I love it - I wish there was more MJ vocal in it. I am so looking forward to the HQ version of this. Also, he just sounds so nice in it - a raw, not over-produced, sweet and simple vocal - BEAUTIFUL!!
