NEW SONG - Akon feat. Michael Jackson "Hold my hand" [updates in post #1]

What would convince you that Michael was the one to drop it? It's technically not even his song, how can you tell some other artist who sung most of the song to drop it? Why 'cause you won't do the music video?

i said IF ;)

UM! Michael would not have the right not to have Hold My Hand on Akons album.. He could say don't use his vocals, and Akon could just go to Whitney and record with her like originally planned.. But to take the 'Hold My Hand' track all in all.. Michael does not have the right.. lol! He just has control over his voice, and where it goes.. Not a song that belongs to someone else.

well yeah, i meant , he could say he didn't like it and stuff and then to remove his vocals, but then Akon said well i don't wanna use it at all then.

AH! i don't know, this is all just TOO CONFUSING!

i am going crazy over here!!!

LOL, I know you said "if", I'm just saying, things can happen and sometimes songs don't get put out. It happens. I'm sure we'll get an explanation. But if we don't... LOL we can move on from this.

yeah i guess... but what i see is that the world STILL loves Michael, and this could have been his leap board (or something?) to his new victories...

i just want to feel powerful when the bitchez say - hey that Jackson guy is still cool!

WELL DUH!

and then ...

tam!
tam!
tam!
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

LOL I just notcie that, I had to ask someone. :toofunny: I was all OMGOMG WHUT IZ NEXT? 21.. 28.. 45?

Sorry.. I forgot what was after 28 in the 7 times table. :hysterical: Talk about brain fart.

Lol I get what you're saying. HMH would bring MJ's name back to the forefront and like, draw people in to Michael.

OK I did some researched!... Remember when there was SUPPOSEDLY an official tracklisting for NE-YO's new album before it came out... And when the album came out ALL the different sites that put up that supposedly official tracklisting WERE WRONG!!!

Here's proof check it out....

NOT ACCURATE sites that claimed the tracklisting below is official:
1.) http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00017555.html
2.) http://hiphop.popcrunch.com/ne-yo-year-of-the-gentleman-album-tracklisting/
3.) http://cignasightandsound.blogspot.com/2008/08/ne-yos-album-tracklisting-sean-paul

Half of these songs were not even right...
aceshowbiz.com is one of the sites that revealed the SUPPOSEDLY official tracklisting for Akon!...

My point is.. in all of this...I wouldn't believe anything unless the album comes out NOV. 25..:D

Thanks for doing the research. :flowers: There was also another "official" tracklisting that included a re-make of Lady in My Life. That list didn't materialize either. At this point it seems safe to say we still don't know if the song will be on his CD or not, regardless of any lists being labeled as "official".

As for Akon commenting on the tracklisting going around... Maybe he will and maybe he wont. I don't remember Ne-yo coming out to clear up any rumors about the "official" tracklisting of his album. Also, maybe it's no longer Akon's song to comment on (speculation: Ever hear of a song called 2000 Watts that once belonged to Tyrese?). We just don't know...but time will tell. I wouldn't draw any conclusions about anything UNLESS Akon or MJ personally commented on the status of the song themselves. Right now we got nothing but crickets and speculation.

Yes, some of us aren't anxious to write the song off just yet, but it's also interesting to see how some of us are anxious to kill it off just as quickly. :cute:

as for anyone wondering about the staying power of this song, in its present form. so far it has 3366 posts worth of staying power.:)

So maybe HMH does apear on Akon's album after all.

Time will show.

I'm praying to God this song isn't on Michael's new album (that's if it ever gets released..) This song is no where near good enough for Michael Jackson IMO.

Dangerous_88, it's better left unsaid. ;)

But I definitely feel this song is not MJ's steelo anyway. Call me a non-fan, it's not even Michael's song so I ain't tripping. ^_^

i don't get it ?

i'm saying that there are people who like the song and people who don't.

which is true for any song.

so...we can't determine that it wouldn't do well. it could.

there are enough people that love it to support it. and there are enuogh people who don't love it. but as long as there are people who love it, it will receive support.

and..timmy why do u always get on my case...lol what do u mean by it's better left unsaid? :D

I must have missed something as well lol cuz I am not sure I am getting it 100%

must be either stupid or way too tired.

anyway...

you are right william, cuz even if some ppl here don't like the song ( i find it mediocre, but it's Michael ffs :) ) I am sure that EVERYONE would support it.

and the world loves Michael. they just need to get out of the closet already lol.

yeah. you got what i said. and yes...the world either loves him, or is interested in him. it's really the same thing. if every talk show is asking about the artists who say they are working with MJ, questions about it, that means all media is interested. and the world is polarized but interested. that bodes well, either way for MJ. and, even at worst case scenario, all the media keeps asking questions..and...let's face it..where the media goes..so goes a lot of the world.:)
