I have to disagree. I really like Justin's voice. His voice is listenable. Akon's just sounds - whiny.
 
Akon enjoyable?

That Kermit the Frog-type of voice he got is more enjoyable than, say, Gavin McDraw or Eric Benet? :huh: :lol:

But anyway, I don't know why anyone would even be 1% HOPEFUL that Michael would include it on his album or that Akon would put it out in a special edition or a b-side of a single but that'll never happen because AKON said the song would be on either HIS album or MICHAEL'S. And now that it's NOT on Akon's, I can't think it'll be on Michael's.

Why?

Never say never. :lol: There was a time when fans were saying Michael would never work with Akon and it had to be a rumor and that Akon was dreaming, and it was said that MJ would never sing a duet with Akon, etc... We just never know til stuff is actually done and/or made public, imo. So Imma hold off on saying never til all is said and done. :cheeky:

LOL. The real talk is that MJ was never a "toss up" and will never ever be a "toss up". You don't toss up a LEGEND. Please. It is sad that people like Lil Wayne sold more of his current cd than Nas. It is sad that Akon is known as a "singer" and not another whining singer. It sucks to turn on the radio and hear that whining voice yelling or screaming or whatever he does for a living about some nonsense that people really don't care about. The industry is a joke. So understand that if MJ is a "toss up" then the music industry is nothing more that complete garbage.

you kind of made my point. i know the artists that are popular right now arent the most talented. but as far as making money, and having commercial success, lil wayne is a safer bet. i dont like saying that, and it shouldnt be that way, but i guaruntee within a couple weeks somebody will ask akon why HMH wasnt on the CD and he'll say that it wasnt up to him.
 
I wanted HMH to be on Akon's album so that more people could hear it and it could get radio play and such,
but also, I'm not that upset over it not being there, because a- i don't really like akon and b- we have the song anyway.

so now we have to wait for something else to come up...

I won't lie, I can't say I am happy that the song isn't on the album. I personally thought it would be a great tool for Michael to catapult himself back intothe limelight of the current popular music/culture. However, I do not doubt Michael has other tricks up his sleve to do so.

how is lil wayne a safer bet? u gotta know that just because u hear a song on the radio, doesn't mean that artist is hot. there are artists who get radio airplay who have been in financial trouble anyway. just because u hear it on the radio doesn't mean people will or are buying it in droves.

at the same time..just because an artist is NOT getting airplay, doesn't mean his or her fans are NOT buying his or her music in droves.

I'm glad this song isn't even on the album, nor is it being released. This mediocre song lacked a lot, imo and Mike doesn't need Akon hollering in the background. He needs T-Pain! :wild:
 
Maybe Michael thinks Akon has let the cat out of the bag and therefore cancelled HMH's release. Well, I won't be surprised when HMH just ends up the pile where the others (We be ballin' / No friend of mine) lie already. Never mind. Mike's probably saving his best material for his own album... Just be patient.

I don't think the leak is the reason. I suspect that MJ is still tied up in litigation that prevents him from releasing any music that he's involved in at this time.

well that's no different from saying conspiracy.

why is it that MJ music is 'conveniently' held up all the time? why shouldn't i believe that if something else is dropped along with it from akon's album, that it's just a red herring to conceal the obvious? it don't make sense that only MJ isn't heard. and everybody else is heard ad nauseum.

i feel like MJ saw into his own future, and bought up publishing for that reason. it's no more a wild speculation than anything else..

i just think that 'litigation' is a politically correct term for conspiracy.

and, with all the stuff that happened against MJ in the recent past, that none of you..nor me could possibly believe would happen if it didn't happen..stuff that even Hollywood could never dream up....it's easy for me to believe this.
