Ne yo on Jo Whiley (BBC Radio1) talking about Mike.

if Sony is still alive and not been taken over and lynched by the Chinese, can you imagine how many MJ compilations would have been released by then
f_yikes.gif

The number would at 18 zillion. All titled the King of Pop but with different numeric titles.

that tells me that NeYo ain't thought of as too much when despite the fact he has a new album coming out they ain't interested that much in his own thing. MJ still towers over so much.

And he's also willing to talk about it, lol. He never said "what about my album"?

I don't really get it though why Michael needs the help of a very average 'popsinger' . Mike's a genious, i'd expect all new songs by him.......

HE doesn't need the help, but he probably finds it fun and more interesting to work with other people and see what other sounds can be made of that...especially when he thinks of music like a canvas. He just doesn't wanna play around with the sounds HE comes up with, it's more fun to work with others in that way.

And also HE knows that THEY need him as well.

well i think there s only one true here when it comes to a new album and when it s released and that is this:
we dont know since nobody knows but mj himself aNd he aint telling us lol
we know how he loves keeping all of us in the dark and then bang a big surprise lol

I agree
Just becuase Ne Yo is writing the song doesnt mean
his is going to be singing it or even involved in the recording
Just like the guy that submitted "Hold My Hand" he didnt'even know
it was recorded with MJ untill Akon played it for him when it was finished

I don't give a damn about what Ne-Yo has to say. I trust Michael and I believe his words "Sooner than they think", remember?

Maybe Ne-Yo is only saying all of this to keep his name in the public eye. I would say he has sent Michael songs. But if he is still sending them to MJ for the last 8 months then Michael has alot of songs from Ne-Yo :D. Auctually I doubt he is still sending songs to Michael. I think he is just saying that for publicity.

Yeah, trying to satisfy the PR system. ;) Ne-Yo was writing songs for Whitney after allegedly giving the songs for Michael and also other people like Jennifer Hudson.

And MJ doesn't do things for publicity? I think some of you fans are too senstive. Ne-Yo says what he knows. That is all. He said that he would met up with MJ to discuss how the songs will be done. So, to me, it is obvious that Ne-Yo is writing songs for MJ.

...nuff said.

Thats what I dont understand. Even if he doesnt pick ANY songs by Neyo, just him taking an interest in wanting to work with him is beyond me. Neyo is very mediocre at best. There are plenty of other songwriters and producers that are way better he could work with if he wanted collaborations. At this point though, everything should be done his self. If not the producing at least ALL the songwriting.

Michael is capable of doing it ALL his self, he just doesn't want to.

I Swear someone had a track listing and it had Lady in My Life on it

Track 12 or 13 i think

MY BAD

WRONG THREADDD

Because he realized it would be compared to the original and then people would realize how lame his voice actually is.

Whoa! A little over the top? Not very generous, or constructive at all. Michael must like something about him. He said, Mike had said a little about his relationship with Melody. I hate bashers, because instead of giving fair and constructive criticism, you just deliver cold hearted remarks about someone who may actually be trying. Sounds like Joseph, when Michael or his brothers were off key. Than again, I wasn't in the house, and only got it from Video and Text sources. Oh well. Cant please everyone.

I acually right now ( i'm saying this to hurt any of u guys, this is just my opion)
I have feeling like thre wont be an album @ all.
I love neyo and all, but i think hes been all talk.. and no action.

OMG I can't believe Michael wants to release an album at 55! I'd rather him retire with dignity! There is no way he will be able to perform, tour, create long music videos at his age (reality once you hit your late 40's things start to change) plus the fact that he is a father and will be raising teens at that time too which ain't easy. How can he be able to dedicate so much time in his music career! It just means it's going to be dissapointing because he want be able to put 100% into it like his previous album before Invincible!

Sorry to sound negative I'm just being honest.

Tink,

You don't sound like much of a fan to me. That is very negative to say that he should retire. That is what's wrong young people in this country. Instead of giving credit to a man of 50, not 55, you would rather support talentless twits like Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers. There will be an album! Michael is currently in the studio and has been for some time working with different artists. You may or may not have heard his duet with Akon that will be released on Akon's new album. Michael's voice is beautiful and sounds better than ever. Michael is certainly far from being washed up as you and the stupid media would have people believe. I would think before I made any more idiotic comments like that!

Hey, I ain't no basher. I've even complimented Ne-Yo on this very board. No one notices that though. I just meant in comparison to Michael's voice, Ne-Yo's voice is lame, and it is.

Since when is he 55? And here's reality, things start to change once you hit 30. So I don't know what you're tripping about. Michael's album will come when it comes and Michael knows better then anyone here what he will and won't be capable of. Mick Jagger is running around the stage with as much energy as he did when he was in his 20s, and the man just turned 65. So whatever. Here's another reality check. You hit your vocal prime from the ages of 35 through 55 and I know Michael's voice is as good as ever. You ever see Fred Astaire? The man was dancing better then anyone well in to his 60s. Michael ain't got any problem with his talent. It doesn't just automatically go away at 50.

Who said he'd have as much energy and strength as he did in his 20s? All I said was its ridiculous to think just because he's now in his 50s that he won't be able to do anything any more to any high standard, because that's utter bull.
