Murray Trial Day 22, November 1st

a stipulation gonna be given in a few moments.

did shaffer adress the issue of the loraz levels in the urine or did he do it just for the dip. bit confused. this is catching up on me

cinzia, in the rebuttal Shafer showed that the propofol in the urine was not unchanged, meaning his models are accurate and consistent with high, prolonged propofol infusion which the defense criticised. He also showed that the levels in the urine actually showed a higher dosage via infusion than either White OR Shafer himself predicted.

the verdict? do they share it today????
u have closing statements first. also there is a possibility of a defence rebuttal but the defence looked pretty much given up at the end imo

ppls 52 accuratley shows the phones numbers and the ppl those phone numbers belong to

They are currently clearing up statements by the defense & prosecution about exhibits they have all brought. Just clearing it up for when the case is written up and presented.

can someone help me?

i though walgren could have asked alot more? he didnt do that much with shafer?? Like what is the story about lorezpam?

What is stipalation?>

The prosecution have officially rested their case. Confirmed by Walgren.

The defense have officially rested their case. Confirmed by Chernoff.

The stipulation is about ppl's exibit 52,
it's about the phone number's accuracy the stipulation is marked 52A,
Walgren says there's no other witnesses, they rest their case so does the defense.

are we actually going to hear closing statements today?
i thought the judge was about to give them more time for that.

Ingelief, the stipulations are just descriptions and assertions attached to exhibits, and they are making sure that both sides are cool with them and agree.

the ppl rest their case. the defence rest their case. jury instructions will be discussed between the lawyers and judges. court dismissed until thursday at 9am when closing statements will take place.

back on thursday for closing arguments. Does this mean after 2 hours of that the jury will deliberate? and maybe back at thursday too?

In recess until Thursday 9am, when closing arguments are being given by both defense and prosecution.
judge and the lawyers will decide on jury instructions

Court session is over for today. We'll have closing statements on thursday at 9am.

Wow, that was a short but sweet day. I hope my summaries helped give y'all a break who normally do them!

don't .... I know I'm not obective, but I really can't see anything else than a guilty verdict ... Dr Whites theory is debunked, it's down the toilet, where do you see reasonable doubt ??? :better:

I don't see reasonable doubt I don't but I'm not on the jury and my concentration is really suffering with all of this. I am afraid to be too optimistic because I don't think I could stand it if it came back not guilty. I have not faced the possibility at all because it has always been so far in the future. And now the future is so much closer. It could be this Friday... And I think I am starting to hyperventilate....

honestly all this time I was sure about the verdict but now with us being basically at the end of this case, omg I can't even think right, I don't think it's possible to get over a not guilty verdict. I dont' even wanna think about it, this is just like 2005 with the exception of this being trial about how michael jackson's death. omg

But there wont be a verdict on thursday?

we have no idea when the jury will come back closing arguments are similar to opening but will probably be longer. i think opening statements took around 1hr45 each? the jury may get an hour or so delieberation time on thurday.

But there wont be a verdict on thursday?

Not sure, but could be. If the closing arguments and jury instructions are finished in time for the jury to start deliberating. If they come to a quick decision, who knows!

It's almost over. Doctor Shafer did great! And to those of you who worry about Lorazepam levels and many questions that were not addressed by the prosecution, I think that we should rest assured that Walgreen will include those in the closing argument.

And... I just realized that any person involved in this, but especially the jurors could make lots of money by writing a book. Is that legal/possible?

As I've said before, I really think that nothing presented in this trial will tarnish in any way Michael's astounding legacy.
And for the poster who said that Michael did not forgive CM... I believe he did :) He taught many of us here, me included, how to LOVE, and this will never, ever go away.
