Instinct is a start and feeling to follow.

Do we remember our first reactions after listening to Breaking News for the first time? Over 90% of people were gutted. Then, we let "logic" and other reasoning influence our minds. We tried to convince ourselves that we hear Michael.

The ironic thing is that the people who still trust their instincts and feelings, just like what Michael did throughout his life, are sometimes being ridiculed and labelled as "crazy", "illogical", "stupid"...

Actually, this sounds so familiar. Wasn't Michael being ridiculed for not follwing logic many times? What do you think about that interaction between him and Kenny in This Is It? That he could feel the background changed from the marquee to the city skyline. Is it logical for him to feel it? Is it logical for him to know the change without looking back?

Actually it is logical to feel it. LOL We are capable of feeling many changes in our surroundings. A massive TV like that changing scenes would be easy to feel or sense the change in lighting.

Here's the way I look at it. This is not for argumentative purposes, just to tell my side of the story.

Michael Jackson was living at the Cascio's house for 4 months. He obviously played a huge role in the writing of these songs (MJ's writing style is so easy to tell). I don't think anyone debates that Michael mostly wrote these songs. So if Cascio and him wrote these songs together...then it is logical to assume that some/all of the songs were recorded to some degree. It's non-logical to think "MJ spent 4 months in a house with a music producer and a recording studio around a time when he was known to be making new music, and did not sing one note into the microphone. It's simply ridiculous to think that they hired Jason Malachi or some other impersonator to come and sing 12 songs. That goes against all logic.

On the other hand... it makes much more sense to think that Michael recorded these songs to a limited degree and failed to finish them. Different parts of the songs were not complete and needed major tweaking. Teddy Riley has said he had to change the vibrato of MJ's voice to match up with some of the new compositions. The studio was in a basement with conditions that were not normal for regular studios that we are used to hearing MJ record in. And finally, Cascio is not a regular producer and would likely be considered B class opposed to the A style producers MJ has always worked with.

Logic would tell anyone that MJ is singing in these songs. Until substantial evidence is presented to the contrary, it will remain my belief that Keep Your Head Up, Monster, and Breaking News are Michael Jackson singing...Just in very different circumstances then we are used to. If I'm proved wrong in the future then so be it. But until then, this is my opinion.

And thats also my approach and should be the approach for everybody.

Because everything else is PREJUDICE & IGNORANCE.

It must be innocent till PROVEN gulity!

Not SPECULATING guilty until proven innocent, damaging posthumus sales & tarnishing the good musical reputation of the worlds greates musician!

Doubters shut up, till You can provide some PROOF! The CD is out & Michael Joseph Jackson is the Leadvocalist on Tracks 1 through 10!
That is the FACT and nothing else!

This is completely irrelevant. If there were no doubters today you would have on your shelf among other albums the album 7even and pretend it is a real MJ's album.

Malachi also said to the moderator of maximumjackson that he can't deny or confirm anything

that leads me to believe that malachi was hired to complete the vocals on the cascio tracks...

it's something like 50/50...

an expert said the voice on KYHU is not HUMAN !!!

that could be explained by the overprocessing made to melt the 2 voices !!!

the background vocals on BN are not MJ but i can recognize its falsetto on the lead vocals.

On Monster, it's even worse...very hard to distinguish...even if the result is better than on Breaking News.

I believe that in this Story, everybody feel confortable with its conscience...

The cascio and Teddy riley thought they had to finish the last MJ's Works...no matter what.

lol - interesting point! I would really like Smooth to clarify things though - how did we go from the initial inside info from Sony re less than 50% MJ, to now accepting that it's totally MJ?

I don't think that this is the issue!

The fans are divided because some doubters believe that Michael is only partially on those songs, while other doubters believe that the songs are completely fake.

On the other hand we have believers who claim that Michael is 100% on those tracks and other believers who claim that Michael is partially on the tracks and they are fine with that.

So all in all there are four different opinions (two among non believers and two among believers). So the division between fans is even trickier than simply black or white.

^ Just to be clear once again, my opinion is that there is barely 5% of Michael in the Cascio tracks and that would be copy-pasted segments here and there from older MJ songs.

And no, even if it was 50/50 on the lead vocals, this is unacceptable to happen therefore not both sides are right

If Sony used even one line of a lead vocal from an impostor and did not reveal it in the album credits, AND IN A STATEMENT, everyone in charge at Sony should be fired and then turned over to us - the crazed fan base - for a public beat down of mythical proportions!!!!!!

We would go medieval on their butts. I would not accept that and would throw the CD away and delete those songs three Cascio songs from my iTunes in a nanosecond!!!!

Yes, I would buy the album with all 12 Cascio tracks. Because it is Michael Jackson! I don't care about Cascios, Sony, Jacksons... but I care about Michael's name and his legacy. If some fans don't aprove some tracks on MICHAEL, that is fine by me, but boycotting the whole album is crazy! MJ needs this record (number one album in 4 decades) so please buy MICHAEL!

Well, I wouldn't imagine anyone sueing now, because if they did, then everyone would turn on them saying they are trying to ruin the album, which a court case would do...How many people would be buying an album that if a court case like that was going on?

so sue and dont tell anyone it if anyone has the guts and proves were all listing to fakes thell be doing everyone a favor.
