I wonder if the Management Teams of artist like X-Tina and Cee-Lo are aware of what has been going on with this so-called "tribute." The fan boycott. The charity questions. The 2-for-1 drama. The slashed price drama. The conference calls. The open letter to the fan community.

I certainly wouldn't want one of my clients involved with all of this drama. Drama that continues to grow each and everyday. Just one HUGE mess, in my opinion.

For a moment now I've wondered if the most recent acts (starting with Beyonce) decided to join the concert just to save the face of the Jackson family, since they are considered as this first family of music thing, out of total pitty for the family, like a conciousness thing...

That would really mean the concert has nothing to do with Michael...

Rebbie was perfectly happy to sit at home all these years and allow her little brother to support her and her family even when she knew he was having financal problems of his own. She is just like her mother. She should have been working a long time ago but why work when you can mooch off MJ? I'm so glad he cut all of them out of his Will.

I believe that from the very beginning, Global Live use their now "infamous" mantra: Galaxy Of International Superstars.

I remember reading that Katherine Jackson said something like: "when I heard the list of performers that were participating, I knew this would be a tribute worthy of a King." (Or words to that effect.)

Which leads me to wonder, if Global Live also used those same words on the folks they invited to participate. I certainly wouldn't put it pass them.

Another HUGE addition to the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute concert ... TMZ has learned Jamie Foxx has signed on and will perform LIVE in Wales at the October show.

Foxx joins Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo, Smokey Robinson and others who are set to perform at the Oct. 8 show.

Sources connected to the show tell TMZ ... show organizers are pumped up about Beyonce's performance -- and insist she did NOT pull out, despite a report to the contrary. We're told B is recording a "unique, never before seen performance" that will be played at the show ... just as she committed to do.

@Elusive, he is the one who played Ray Charles in his biopic. He also did the hook for Kanye's Golddigger.

No offense to Jamie Foxx, but I certainly don't see him making a difference in the amount of tickets that will be sold because he has been added to this show.

Global Live is trying really hard to keep this sinking ship afloat. LOL!

Oh and the report about what Beyonce will be doing comes from Ticketmaster. So if it's not true, then Global Live needs to address that situation with Ticketmaster. It's not like somebody just pulled that information out of a hat.

Timing is IMPORTANT. That the concert was scheduled during the TRIAL, began this downward spiral. "Honoring Michael" should mean supporting the quest for justice for him? Above all else? True, the trial was postponed, and postponed again. But that venue seemed pretty open/flexible? Could have been rescheduled, once the trial-date seemed more certain? To schedule this concert during the trial, was just. . .wrong. That was the catalyst, and then so much else contributed to the downward motion. And KISS was completely unacceptable. This didn't have to HAPPEN this way, but. . . it did . . . as a textbook study of what NOT to do with promotion/PR?

Funny how we still get the news from TMZ.. I told Picheta they should find another way of announcing their updates than TMZ cause we don't want to go to TMZ website... he answered ''We don't like it either''

I believe they actually like it, because it's fast and free advertising. Especially when so many mainstream media just copy and paste TMZ stories.

Jamie foxx even joked about MJ's nose right on a radio show! Right before the so called "BET tribute" to MJ after he passed, while pluggin the show!

That is INCREDIBLY disrespectful. Those people seem to be utterly incapable of doing even the most basic homework. Took me about ten SECONDS to find that awful "comedy" routine.

Google IS your friend! After the outrage over KISS, not sure what those promoters were THINKING/not thinking? It took me TEN SECONDS. Or less. I typed in, "Jamie Foxx negative comments Michael Jackson," and an entire array popped up. A fourth-grader could have done that search!!!!!

(edit) Wonder if he's going to "honor" Michael by doing that comedy routine? No? Didn't THINK so.

He SAYS, "You don't even know who's that in the video, he done TORE HIS FACE UP SO MUCH." (first line of the "comedy" routine.) He speaks fast, so ESL speakers might not have caught that? He REALLY says that, though.

Anyone think that is remotely acceptable????????
