Is Jackie back in the US? The trial is still going on.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

These brothers never know what is going on because GLE does not give them all the information. I still do not know why people were looking for the broadcast on the TV when they knew since last month that GLE did not have the rights to broadcast. GLE simply wanted to make a quick buck, and they did. They probably made about 20 thousand, paid the brothers and Latoya 2 thousand each, plus air fare, hotel, and meals. Now GLE could go bye bye.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

why hasn't Jackie attended any of this trial?

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

I'm wondering why Jackie and Tito have not attended the trial yet on a single day?

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Tito has attended at least one day. Jackie, no. Maybe it's too hard for him?

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Tito did go on the first day. Maybe it's just too difficult for them to be there. Not everyone has the strength Katherine seems to have--even her own children. Everyone is different.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

thousands of family members of other victims attend their killers trials, and it's difficult for them as well. but they still do, it's something you are supposed to do, even obliged to do. And it's not like Jackson's are working like normal people and can't get off a day or two. after vacationing in europe, the least they could do is to attend a few days of the trial, I'm not saying they should be there all day everyday, but all of them could at least attend 3-4 days of the trial.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

It's excruciatingly hard for each and every one of us to follow the trial. I believe we still do it. I dont want to be judgmental but I think the least they could do, even if they have business to take care of (thanks to Michael btw), is not to publish pictures of them grinning and having fun. Not now, now while at the same time are detailed the last minutes of the life of their brother. It's disrespectful, it's inappropriate, it's tactless.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

I agree. Instead of the media asking where the fans are I wish they would ask why the Jacksons aren't there everyday.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Exactly what kind of message does it send out that there are so many Jackson's yet only one or two bother to show up for the trial? That's far far worse.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

13 members of the family found time and motivation to be at the concert...

That being said, even if they follow it on TV or online, at least, I would expect a bit of tact and manners.

It really is. I bet if they got paid to show up like the jurors do they would make an effort to be there everyday.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

^I couldn't agree more with you guys. The trial has been on for 15 days now, and the last Prosecution witness is nearly done. There is no excuse for not being there on a single day, while the Prosecution was laying their case with the objective of seeking justice for Michael - their brother. What do they plan to do, turn up in court when the Defense witnesses take the stand? Where is the support for the Prosecution, where is the support for their brother in that? smdh.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

We always knew the Jacksons were a bunch of people fuelled by greed. Latoya who's been clamouring loudly that she is seeking the truth..you'd think she would make an effort to attend most of the proceedings.

She only showed her face 2 or 3 times. But she finds time to tweet about living the high life while eating caviar. She is a disgrace.

On friday, she couldn't even get the prosecution star witness's name right. She is trying to project the idea that even if she is not in court she is following the trial...but she fails because all she does is tweet to the media (fishing for an invitation?) and misspells Dr Schafer's name

This lack of concern reinforces the belief that the Jackson siblings supported MJ in 2005 because they were expecting something in return.

eta. Jermaine is busy in a recording studio with Jaafar...(I couldn't make this ish up even if I tried)

Especially when flying to a "CHARITY" concert... The only thing it shows to me is a deep lack of manners. But again, seems that the focus of theirs parents was "putting theirs kids in show business" rather than educating them.

Who cares what the media think? We're in no place to judge the Jacksons for not attending the trial. If it's too hard for some of the Jacksons, fine. They don't have to please the media or us and it doesn't mean they love Michael any less.

I completely agree. It's easy to sit back and say what people should do but until you actually walk in their shoes you have no idea what they are thinking or feeling. Latoya has been sick with the flu since she's got back from the concert. There have been family members there everyday of the trial. Like I've stated before Randy has only missed one day and Rebbie as well. And to say family shouldn't smile or look happy while the trial is going on is preposterous. They have to go on living their lives. Just because you see them smiling doesn't mean they aren't supporting Michael. Let's be realistic folks.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Personally I'm not judging their thoughts or feelings. As you said, and I agree, I'm not in their heads. It's some of their public actions that shock me. It's merely a personal feeling.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

I understand. I just wouldn't want people judging me like some here are judging the Jacksons. That's why I feel the way I do. No one is perfect.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

In my opinion....they should be there all the time. There won"t be another chance for that any more. If I only could be there...I would. I am just saying.

We don't care what the media thinks........otherwise we wouldn't be MJ fans!!!

So the Jacksons can travel across the ocean to do "the world's worst" charity tribute concert in Michael's name......

.....but they can't show up to the trial for Michael's sake!!!!

.....if it was my brother, I would attend every minute of the trial......

It's just further proof that they never really cared for Michael!!!!

That's not true and you know it.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

I know the Jacksons are a big family and there are limited seats. They can follow it on tv etc but does Latoya for example have to tweet about caviar? I usually don't care but someone said that was close to the day they showed the autopsy picture. I don't mean to judge but some of these tweets are tacky. Any other time it would be fine but not during the trial. Maybe they can't discuss things then maybe they shouldn't say anything at all. I am not saying they don't love Michael. I understand that some will not agree with me and that's okay. I am not trying to be rude or anything like that.

Thankyou!!! I have thought this for so long now! Out of Michael's own mouth he said they weren't this tight nit unit we always hear about, I honestly feel only very few truly cared for him. Even his own family didn't. Only when it suited them.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

It does look bad when the family isn't using every seat they could. Its hard? It may be but how hard is it for fans who are not even there to follow it online or tv but we do it to get the information we need about what happened to Michael. Some things in life you just have to grin and bear. It helps when the jury sees the family there because it humanizes the victim to them, that they are loved and missed. And why aren't some of those empty seats used by grandchildren or cousins, etc?

It looks insensitive to see them in pictures smiling and grinning like they don't have a care in the world when a bunch of strangers sitting in a courtroom are trying to find out what happened in their brother's last moments.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Well Halima said Jermaine was sick so that's why he hasn't been attending the trial and hasn't been on Twitter lately.

Btw Joe and Katherine both said recently that the prosecution is doing very good.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Can we make an honest, true opinion on what people feel inside, based only on their public actions? I don't know. We all hurt and I think we would expect to see the same kind of dedication from his family, as the one we have. We spend hours in front of screens, trying to make sense of what happened, and we would want to know the family is going through the same thing. Otherwise it would mean Michael was truly alone. All we have as their actions, do they reflect their feelings? Again I don't know, I guess they are used to acting in public. Still...
