Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

IMO...some fans have it twisted! Stop comparing these children to MJ as if, they are the Second Coming of MJ. They may not have a lick of talent, then what? They sre children, and should be allowed to be just that, not assets, and certaintly not MJ fans fawning all over them, and acting like fans...please, get a grip. These children have done nothing to have "fans". Let them accomplish something on their OWN merits, then you give them praise. Don't boost these kids heads up into thinking they have it all or are STARS, because they may be in for a rude awakening if that does NOT come to pass.

Some FANS have also pretty much said, "F-what MJ said and thought about his kids, they're with their grandma, so it's alright". Don't pin your hopes and dreams, much less, obsession on these 3 young children.

So well said!!!! I totally agree!!! Please, let me be just themselves, let's them be children.
Do we really need any new "child-star-dream-turned-into-a-grown-up-nightmare" story?
What for??? There are many sad stories out there... you go and pick up any!
Please! They haven't done anything for themselves yet and that is perfectly right for they are suppossed to be just that: CHILDREN.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Question: Who sang "Got to be there"?

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

please, "some" family members, please stop using these little kids. please....

That ain't gonna happen no matter how many times you beg for it to stop. They are now cash cows and the one who will have it the worst is Blanket just because he looks so much like his father. Prince and Paris are having a ball with all this fame until it turns on them.

It's going to get very ugly within 4 -5 years when they turn 18. The press ain't going to be feeling too sorry for them then. The worst part is nobody bats an eyelash about this. The press hasn't really said anything about these kids being exploited. Hoping and praying that that so called tape where Michael calls his family greedy is true and if so to be aired this week.

"Ticket sales were also poor, with 10,000 seats still available." I guess that sounds better than "Over 50,000 plus MJ fans attended"

Wow.. its amazing to see some of the spin from the neg media about the tribute. I don't listen to "critics" and my uncle never did either.

There will always be some negativity in the world. Unfortunately the internet has made it easier for negativity to infect more people.

Why do we(family) have to always justify & defend our actions when it comes to my uncle? However others can & seem to do whatever they want.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Becayse YOU and your family Taj are a bunch of greedy ********* who still are milking money from your beloved uncle. That's why you get negativity. This family reminds me of those birds who eat cadavers. I forgot what they are called.... but that is exactly what this family reminds me of. There's nothing left to chew off Michael's body dear Jackson's - back off and stop mooching off him.

I pray Janet has an iron clad Will if god forbid something happened to her. I know the family have mooched off her too over the years. Live a long life Janet and continue to stay away from the hot mess that is your family.

How could Taj said he was close to his uncle and make that statment. Michael listen to the merciless critics and that broke his heart.

There's no justification or defense for the way Michael's name is being used to make money under the pretense of helping charities. And if "others" mean the estate, then that was Michael's decision.

What a nerve, Michael worked hard then he decides how he wants his assets to be distributed and the family say no, we have to benefit too. The nerve of this grown old men to live off Michael's legacy.

What, who, why or how did they get that sense of entiltlement?

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Can someone tell me why Blanket was crying? It's so sad. Like going back in history.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

To celebrate MJ every year is a great idea!

A celebration of LOVE!

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

I have been looking through the thread - but I can't find a video of La Toya performing - nor can I find what she did perform?

Was she terrible or was she only embarrasing?

He was really nervous and messed up the line he was supposed to say and Paris corrected him. That's why he was upset. He was fine at the end of the concert. He was smiling and having a good time.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

You know guys,
I've been there in Cardiff and by my opinion it was absolutely fantastic concert!
I have really enjoyed it, the performers put incredible efford to it and performed very well, some of them amazingly well!!!

I know that many fan clubs (not ALL!) didn't want to support this event, but it's all politics....

I have seen Michael Jackson not ones in real life and have been on his concerts too, so I've seen the real thing if you know what i mean. And personally i really liked the show!

I know we have the trial going on, but at the end of the day this show was planned a long time ago and it was created first of all to celebrate Michael Jackson's life and his music !!!

So, just wanted to say that I'm very happy that i have managed to buy this ticket and get to Wales, it was worth every penny I've spent. Really great show!!!

Everything was LIVE, very well played, great sound, great special effects, great voices and the greatest Michael's music...
I hope it will be released on BLU-RAY in 3D, because they have filmed it in 3D, I have counted 18 3D cameras there, so ;)

Did you watched the same video I did? Because that child does not look like he was having fun. He read his lines, Paris didn't have to correct him. That was his line. He was crying up there too. I don't think we saw the same video.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

I find it quite suspicious, that almost everytime Taj tweets or the Jackson's are up to shadiness, we get these 3 or 4 "new" posters, etc. jumping up and down like the Jackson family cheer section, LIEING about this "tribute" being filled, live vocals, which is certaintly NOT true for LaToya Jackson, 3D cameras, etc....I smell some foolery! Last I checked, SONY & The Estate, who holds the rights and licensing to MJ's music, etc, have already put a stop, do not go button on any television or tape/dvd distribution. I would advise you all to stop feeding the Jackson's these fallacies, and inform them, that if they want to try it, they'll be spending that ill-gotten money they just got, on plenty of lawyer fees for copyright infringement, fraud, false representation, etc.

"I just think it’s tragic. I think it’s a tragedy. I feel sorry, in a way, for the doctor... He was just so happy to be around Michael Jackson, and to do whatever Michael said whenever Michael said it."

Smokey Robinson: 'I Feel Sorry For Dr. Murray'

Soul icon Smokey Robinson feels sorry for Michael Jackson's embattled personal physician DR. Conrad Murray, insisting he believes the doctor merely wanted to be around the King of Pop.

Robinson feels sure Dr. Murray was only doing what Jackson told him to do, and unfortunately that may have involved administering the fatal dose of anesthetic Propofol which cost the singer his life in June, 2009.

Speaking to news show Access Hollywood backstage at Saturday's (08Oct11) Michael Forever tribute concert in Wales, the Tears of a Clown singer said, "I just think it’s tragic. I think it’s a tragedy. I feel sorry, in a way, for the doctor... He was just so happy to be around Michael Jackson, and to do whatever Michael said whenever Michael said it."

The Michael Forever concert offered fans and Jackson family members a break from the Murray manslaughter trial in Los Angeles. The doctor faces jail time if he's found guilty. The trial recommences on Tuesday (11Oct11) following America's Columbus Day holiday.

Fuck you in your asshole till you start oozing jizz out your ears Smokey...FUCK YOU

This is both surprising and not surprising all at the same time.

Namely, this is why the DA didn't bring murder two charges. People have a hard time blaming doctors for anything, even when their guilt is obvious and wouldn't be tolerated by any other professions. If even someone who knew Michael as a child could even feel remotely sorry for Murray, that tell us allot about the power and trust held by doctors.

Still, tragic that Smokey would say such a thing.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Oh, so Murray is the victim according to Michael's "friends" and family?

Will Michael ever be treated fairly?

And this is why people better know that the prosecution has a fight on their hands. People overlooking the fact that Michael was looking for medical intervention--not some power trip. When you look for medical intervention, then the doctor giving it should have that as his or her sole purpose and not considering how happy to be around the patient.

The tragedy is what happened to Michael. The tragedy is that anyone would find such a statement acceptable when Michael is needlessly dead. Will there ever come a point in time that Michael gets the full sympathy and understanding?

Singing or talking at tributes and memorials is the easy part.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

If Murray had been around Michael ,watching him, Michael had been alive today.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Wow, what has Smokey been smokin??
A patient requesting specific treatment - especially dangerous treatment - does not remove the Doctor's responsibility for acting in their best interest. As we all know, Murray should have denied the treatment and removed himself from that position. EVEN IF he really wanted to wean MJ off Propofol (I don't believe that was the case from the amount of the stuff he had ordered) then he should have tried to get specialist help for MJ. As it is, Murray did the wrong thing and now he will be punished (I hope!).

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

Would he still be okay if Douchebag Doc just said "no" to the propofol or was he in so deep in it would there be equally devastating consequences if he was taken off all those prescription style drugs straight away..? I know that's probably a no brainer but..I suppose that is irrelevant when he shouldn't have even been given that stuff in the first place. Especially when you knowingly MIX them all together.

Re: Michael Forever Tribute/ MJJC Official Statement / Discussion / Estate statement / Fan letter @p

I'm surprised that Smokey even bothered to do the tribute if he felt that Michael was at fault for his own death. I'm sorry. But personally, I am very put off by his statement. He has a right to his opinion. But I don't have to like it.
