From Facebook - omitted parts that's not about concert
Michael Strongman
if I am remembering it correctly, these lines have been stated by Globallive on Twitter, Facebook and their promo:
“ …who have waited over two years for an event to Michael’s musical legacy…”
“ … once a millennium the … the stars align… for the fans… for the memories…”
Big stars would perform and honor Michael. I have to say that I have missed the first few minutes because I stood at gate 6, but I had to pick up my tickets at gate 3, and that’s a long walk…. but that’s my fault.
If I would honor somebody when he was dead I would show pictures of the guy, tell anecdotes, tell stuff about his live, let everybody know the good things about him, wouldn’t you… sure you would…
Well, first The Black Eyed Peas cancelled, then Jennifer Hudson cancelled, no TV shows and no Facebook… what is going on is what I thought… But I went to Cardiff and expected a great show. I had bought the most expensive seats, so I had great seats
And the performances were really great, That Aquillera girl can sing, wauw… When Earthsong was being performed the whole crowd went wild.
BUT….
-The Jackons did 1 song, no more… no speech…
-Katerine Jackson… I did not see her…
-The children were on the stage for perhaps 2 minutes, 1 line each and Blanket clearly didn’t want to be there and spoke half a sentence…he did NOT cry or semm to be upset, just a bit mad…
- Latoya did 1 song and she told us that Michael was all about love… no more – oh and after she song the producer of the show told her twice (as the show was happening) that she wasn’t standing on the right mark and pushed her where she should stand.
- When 3T performed the sound guys didn’t know who song I guess because half the time the mike went of.
- when Diversity went on stage there were cleaners mobbing the floor for about 10 minutes, while diversity was waiting as were we…
- almost no pictures of Michael, no speeches about Michael, nothing about his carrier, about his charity’s, about his trial, his fatherhood, prices he won, speeches he held…. nothing nothing nothing.
-the talk host en hostess were systematically to late to give a comment through the show, so there were constantly silent moments between the songs.
- people around us (did I mention I had the most expensive tickets) left after an hour and a hour and a half…
- and I really think the did a number on the believers, because when the last song begin, Jamie Foxx said that this was a very special moment in the show, “this is the moment” he said, and halfway through that song, a spotlight went on and went to a place behind the stage, but nothing happened.
Then the song was over and so was the concert, no last words no encore, and the crowd left very quickly.
This was no tribute for Michael, he deserves much much much better.
The organizers of this event should be ashamed of themselves for all the broken promises the made the Michael Jackson fans.
I really don’t know what to think about the real reason of this concert, be it good or bad.

I was at the concert and it was truly awful! It started off really well with Ne-Yo covering Billie Jean but half of Michael's most famous songs weren't even covered. I mean Diversity had a great opportunity to carry out the famous thriller dance routine and didn't. I was quite far from the stage and saw absolutely nothing of both Diversity's and Leona Lewis's performances, there's a screen there people USE IT! As for his children I thought that his youngest was far too young to be exploited in such a way, I remember when his father died he wouldn't talk to the media in an interview with his brother and sister. LaToya Jackson was truly awful too! She wasn't even singing and she had to be showed where her mark was. I decided to leave after Christina's performance as I was appalled by the way the show sucked. I believe it would have been more successful if they'd done some of his more famous songs, hand fewer people in the line up and had held it in a bigger city such as London.
