Paris did correct him. He introduced his father and she corrected him a few seconds later. At the end of the show when everyone came on stage is when he was smiling and having a good time.
. . . Maybe instead of saying he just did what Michael wanted him to do he should question why a doctor would behave that way. They are suppose to take care of you and follow ethics and morals. Murray didn't and if Smokey has dealt with friends dying then he should be mad that a doctor would act so careless like this and took his friend away.

Smokey Robinson: 'I Feel Sorry For Dr. Murray'
Soul icon Smokey Robinson feels sorry for Michael Jackson's embattled personal physician DR. Conrad Murray, insisting he believes the doctor merely wanted to be around the King of Pop.
Robinson feels sure Dr. Murray was only doing what Jackson told him to do, and unfortunately that may have involved administering the fatal dose of anesthetic Propofol which cost the singer his life in June, 2009.
Speaking to news show Access Hollywood backstage at Saturday's (08Oct11) Michael Forever tribute concert in Wales, the Tears of a Clown singer said, "I just think it’s tragic. I think it’s a tragedy. I feel sorry, in a way, for the doctor... He was just so happy to be around Michael Jackson, and to do whatever Michael said whenever Michael said it."
The Michael Forever concert offered fans and Jackson family members a break from the Murray manslaughter trial in Los Angeles. The doctor faces jail time if he's found guilty. The trial recommences on Tuesday (11Oct11) following America's Columbus Day holiday.

Smokey Robinson[/B] says he doesn't want his sympathy for Dr. Murray to be misinterpreted as support -- telling TMZ he does "feel sorry" for the guy ... but still believes Murray is 100% GUILTY.
Earlier this week, Smokey told Access Hollywood ... "I actually feel sorry in a way for the doctor .. he was just under the influence of being so happy to be around Michael Jackson."
Now, Smokey says he does not want anyone to be confused about his stance on the manslaughter case -- telling TMZ, "Let me be clear, I believe Dr. Murray is responsible for Michael Jackson's death through his absolute negligence.”
Smokey adds, "I knew Michael Jackson since he was 10 years old and loved him like a little brother. His untimely death was one of the most tragic events in my life."

Looks like Michael Jackson's kids inherited his dance moves.
Backstage at Saturday's Michael Forever tribute concert at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, Blanket Jackson, 9, was a dancing machine.
"Blanket was dancing and spinning – and it was like an exact Michael Jackson dance," says a source who was backstage at the show and saw all of Jackson's children, including Prince, 14, and Paris, 13, hanging out.
"All three of the kids were in one of the little quick change rooms backstage," the source continues, "but Blanket was dancing on his own."
Typically shy, Blanket looked like "he was happy," says the source, who adds: "The kids were watching him and joking around."
Hate adding to this thread but was visiting positively michael forum tocheck out TMez and popped into the tribute thread. A member there had been to the concert and met up and talked with 3t (she's a fan). She made a few posts about some of the things they said, and i don't think i'm stepping on any toes if i type out a few interesting things they were saying, as it was a public forum.
3t were concerned about the criticism about blanket being on stage. They said he wasn't forced, he wanted to do it. Apparently his upset expression when he came out on stage was because he had just had an argument with paris and was in a bad temper. So the blame for his uncomfortable demeanour is down to his big sis having a bust-up with him just before he goes out to address 40,000 strangers? Not sure how that makes things better, but i'm just typing out what this fan said she was told.
3t said they were late signing up to the tribute (really? i thought they were among the 1st) because they wanted to check out who was behind it. When they found out mrs J and the children were on board with it they were happy to join in as those 4 were the ones michael loved best in the world. I'm guessing that passes for due diligence in their world.
They told this fan that they believe there was an actual team whose job it was to put out negative stories about the tribute and that 99% of the things reported weren't true and were made by people to sabotage the show. Well, i can't think of a single criticism of the show that didn't come from globalive themselves. But apparently 3t are in deep denial about this. I'm just really glad that they have nothing to do with the estate as they sound extremely flaky to me.

thanks for adding these.
It doesn't make it any better. He mustn't have sent on to that stage to cry in front the world , the reason doesn't matter IMO.
Reality is that unfortunately after MJ's death and over time people changed their opinions about Jacksons based on what they did and didn't do in regards to Michael. Example : Look to my posts. If you back to Grammy awards time, you'll see my posts that how happy I was that 3T was with MJ's kids. Today in regards to the tribute my opinion has changed. It's not because it's "my job" to put out negative stories about them, it's simply because of their own behavior.
and that 99% not true comment is hilarious. What was not true?
- That MJ's kids was mentioned on the "terms and conditions" as making appearance? Well it happened right?
- That the prices were too high? Well they reduced it twice didn't they?
- That it wasn't fair to require a charity donation to get a ticket? Well they cancelled that right?
- That it wasn't "for charity" but "for profit"? Well didn't Chris Hunt said that their investors want to get their money and make a little profit?
- That they didn't have Estate's approval and cannot use MJ's image and likeliness? Well they couldn't use them right? Even the broadcast was cancelled due to copyrights.
- That the line up was weak? Well didn't the media call it X-factor Karaoke? Didn't 2 major acts dropped BEP and Jennifer Hudson and only one left was Beyonce via video?
- That concert timing was inappropriate? Well did they check the forums to see how much fans are effected by the autopsy pictures and realize that their mindset is not in the mood for partying?
- That the concert would not sell out in these conditions? Well it didn't sell out right?
So excuse me but what was the 99% of the things that were reported not true? To me it looks like everything we said was the truth.

I would strangely rank them above katherine in the "Most surprised by" category. I would've never expected these young men to be this clueless. They just don't get it.
