OMG, I'm reading the comments. So is this real? Something that Sony/the Estate really contemplates to release? Say it's not true! This must be their most desperate decison yet! Make Michael's name associated with Bieber, cheapen him down the level of someone who no one in the industry takes seriously as an artist! I can't believe this. Say it's not true! :( The Estate should work on Michael being taken seriously as an artist, not cheapen him. I can see a duet album but with well respected artists! Not Justin Bieber! Can't believe this.

I think everyone should take a few moments to breathe here.

Until this is released I am going to hold back my judgement. Justin Beiber has always had positive comments to Michael and I believe that if this is released and is successful then it gets a thumbs up from me.

It is simply making these songs more attractive to more markets = $$$$. If his own family are only doing things for money, then why shouldn't the people who it's their job to get money from him? We already have the full Michael Jackson version anyways, so y'know.. chill.

I've got nothing whatsoever against Justin Bieber, what I care about is MJs legacy and everything the estate releases will be a part of that legacy. For all we know Slave To The Rhythm could be one of the absolute best songs he has left in his vault and if released properly could be one of his last BIG hits. It is utterly ridiculous that this song could even be considered for a duet when MJ sings the entire song, not to mention his vocals sound amazing. There are plenty of songs in the vault that only contain a couple of lines sung by MJ (not completed vocally) which could certainly be released as duets (the other singer filling in the missing verses) but they should only release these songs when the vault has run dry. Again this song features MJ singing the entire vocals and there is no reason whatsoever why this should be released as a duet. (not to mention this version sounds like crap!)

It's so sad that some fans care more about having a successful record than Michael's dignity.

Michael's dignity is far more important than getting a number 1

THIS BETTER NOT BE REAL, IM SICK OF THEM TRYING TO DEGRADE MICHAEL'S GENIUS SONG'S TO THE YOUNG GENERATION JUST COS' SOME GIRLS WHO NEED THEIR EARS CHECKED OUT LIKE A 19 YEAR OLD WHO SOUND LIKE A GIRL. I'LL BE STICKING WITH THE DEMO AND TRYING TO KEEP THE VOCALS AND MIXING MY OWN VERSION, BLAH TO THIS. NOT BUYING ANYTHING WITH JB, *only buys solo authentic song's from itunes* urgh. rant over :)

I'll say it again if this is just a remix of the official (MJ only) version I'm okay with it but if this is the only version that gets released as a single and makes it on an MJ album no way in hell will I be buying it.

Maybe this will be the remix. And we still get the original released. It's not that bad anyways so chill out. Yes the original is timeless but maybe this is marketing just wait and see. Or maybe it's fake and if that's fake they did a good job. Nothing against the Biebs here.

Just listened to it again. Of course I love the original but this one is good. Can we not just wait and see what's going on and not fly off the handle as always. Some of us act like idiots with reactions. It could be marketing or it could be a release. Either way if it is released we have a smash hit on our hands. With all the negativity surrounding MJ let's just wait this will be positive in the end. Petitions are not worth your time. The estate is not listening and they will do as they please. From the feedback on YouTube I believe it is positive. If you want negative hang on this forum for a bit.

Oh yeah, silly us. We preffer the original with only Michael vocals to one with less vocals and a crappy mix. We should be ashamed!

Better to be a crap fan-made mash up because if it's real, I'll hate Branca and McClain forever. Whoever did this ruined a terrific song, the way Michael left it was perfect. :mad:

Ok, it's silly to get Justin on this one and not an unfinished one, yes. But in all honesty people need to calm themselves down a bit and take a chill pill.
