Nothing????

*big :sigh:*

Honestly? If this song is not fake or if there is no problem behind this, why until now we have no explanations of Sony/Estate? This delay and that silence has shown that some (not very good :fear:) is happening behind the scenes.

If Michael were here :)cry:), this mess would NEVER be happening. -_-

SHAME!!! And complete disrespect with fans!!!

I feel the same. They could have easily posted the forensic audiologists reports even if they don't have any raw demo tapes or video of Michael in the studio recording Breaking News. The fact that the estate and Sony haven't presented any proof at all, means one of two things, imo.
1. The verses of Breaking News really were sung by someone other than Michael.
2. This whole thing is a publicity stunt or promotional scheme.

Pretty obvious to me. Also, if you listen to this little snippet of Speechless from 2009, you can clearly hear what Michael's vibratto sounds like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmB32-sEHNY
I know the song is slower, but you can hear how different it is from BN.

I don't ever remember hearing Michael pronounce "wanting" like in the 1st verse of BN. Can anyone who finds an example of Michael singing a word like "wanting" this way please post it. It sounds like wah-in. This is so unMichaelish.

Exactly! I think everybody is desperately trying to find a way to explain things and prove to the fans. A big mess. The thing must be catching fire in the behind the scenes, so there really is something wrong happening and being difficult to resolve.

Well, in my opinion, there are other clever ways of doing publicity .... and not causing all the confusion and mess. If this is what they did, was a big disaster... as we're seeing advertising did not work. :fear:

Come on guys.. Why are you changing your minds?? We don't need proof from anyone. We have our ears and this is not Michael.

And it is not just one "questionable" (fake) song on the album, it's 3. We didn't hear the third one yet but it is from Cascio sessions. Monster is clearly fake and BN is disaster.

the thing is, you dont know the tracklist yet

YES! you are so right about vibratto.

Do you really believe that BN is Michael Jackson??

No. But I have no evidence. We're playing here with the work of a lifetime. We're playing with someone's legacy. We can not be careless and irresponsible, causing the failure of a job that does not belong to us.

The press will not say that the CD failed because of the doubt of the fans. The press will make up lies and blame the failure to michael jackson. You know that. If I see some proof, I'll be the first to tackle this project. But we have no evidence.

Anyway, according to Mr. Taj "I'd love to see my mama to be interviewed by Oprah" Jackson, we will have at least seven other songs on the album that he claims to be MJ.

100% agree with you MJstorm , the only one loser of this game is MJ not sony not the estate. A big flop mean no more projet and this for just 3 songs

I don't think people who make sense are allowed in here!!!:clapping:

Im sorry but why should fans spend there hard earned money on a MICHAEL JACKSON album, with songs that aren't sung by MJ? I sure as hell won't be. If there are ANY fakes on this album i wont be buying it. I will simply download the real songs.

I agree with you.

The thing is also that the media is not saying that Fans don't believe is real, they just say just the Mother and some member of the Jackson family, and we, the fans, are mainly who are against those songs.

I agree. I'll do the same
I was going to do the pre-order when I heard the song and I didn't.
I only will if it's all MJ on the album. I think if they use background singer I will understand, but not this, this is fraud.

imo, this is a good settlement and a way to don't hurt MJ.

Sorry Ashtanga, this isn't aimed personally at you, just you were the first example I came across... with the L.O.V.E.

I am a little confused as to what the fans are asking for when they say they need "proof" and "explanations"....

Sony have released a statement saying they believe the vocal is Michael... Many, many people, and I mean trusted friends of Michael agree that it is him, expert after expert was approached to examine the track and agreed, The Cascio family (Who were very, very close friends of Michael for 20 years) confirmed that Michael recorded these vocals... It is very well documented that Michael along with a cascio wrote the song... etc etc etc.

It is also well documented that sure, Michael isn't the only singer you can hear on the track, backing vocals have been added along with some very heavy production from TR.

What other evidence do you need? What more proof can sony provide?

Is it just that we are at a point now when the only thing we will possibly believe, listen too or even entertain is Sony to say: "Not Michael, sorry we F.ck.d up"???

If you do not want to spend your money, that is your problem. It is your right. I'm referring to the campaign against the album.

Why is it so difficult to understand???

Am I writing in Greek?

Jesus Christ!!!!!

It's very simple. The release from Sony said they had gotten the opinions of multiple forensic audiologists. All they have to do is release those reports online with the experts names so we can verify that they really are forensic audiologists. That would be proof enough for me. Since they have the reports, it also should be very easy for them to produce this evidence.

Guys, seriously stop bitching and insulting each other just because they don't agree with you. None of us fans know the whole truth YET.

I'm probably going to get slaughtered for saying this, but after spending a couple of days thinking about it, I think that the tracks are probably as genuine as they can be and I don't think anyone is trying to fool us.

I think they found some great song concepts, some great "single-takes" and some radio-friendly ideas and did the best they could on them. I also think the recordings they did have were probably rubbish quality and needed serious work to be audible, let alone releasable, and I think it's this that has caused the confusion. Perhaps they have "over-corrected"?

Either way, I find it hard to believe that an organisation would pay such huge amounts of money for tracks that aren't real. I also find it hard to believe that a great number of professional people would come forward and say that the tracks are Michael's if they weren't. Keep in mind these people have careers that don't necessarily rest on Michael's legacy, but saying the vocals are MJ's only to be proven wrong later would be beyond devastating to their professional lives. I honestly believe that these people are saying they're Michael's vocals because they are. They're just really rough vocals (not because of Michael, just the recordings themselves).

I think some group of people out there, or maybe just one person, is trying to disrupt this process for some reason. Perhaps the conspiracy is the talk about the tracks being fake, not that the tracks actually are fake?

Ultimately, you need a lot of people to keep a valuable secret for something like this to happen. I don't think that you can achieve that when money talks the way it does. I think the tracks are probably real, they're just not what we expected or wanted.

Says exactly what I was thinking, just wanted to re-post it for those that missed it the first time... with the L.O.V.E

Why are some of you working to sabotage the upcoming release of Michael Jackson's next album, an album neither you nor I have ever heard? Why are you working to get others to join you in your actions?

After the album is released, as usual, people can decide for themselves whether they like the whole album, or only some of the songs, or only one of the songs, or none of the songs.

LET MICHAEL JACKSON'S MUSICAL LEGACY LIVE ON!!!!!

I don't know about others, but me personally, I don't need any proof or evidence. No proof or evidence can reverse the damage already done.

There is Michael's vocal in part of Breaking News. I can hear it. I don't call Breaking News a fake track. But, I cannot deny the fact that Breaking News is a grossly overproduced "cut-and-paste" track from a non-releasable demo. How is it acceptable that an unnamed artist is hired to "fill in the gaps" or, in a better scenario, some machines in the studio dubbing and layering and cutting and pasting Michael's vocals?

If the Cascios tracks are indeed in such rough condition, they shouldn't even be considered. Period.

Again, I can't speak for others. I do wish Sony can remove the questionable tracks from the album. At this point, I really don't mind if they have to include outtakes from the 80's.

May I say I've never been affected by the Jackson family. I don't read tabloids. I trust my own ears and instinct. This whole "planting the seed" to people's head to let people react negatively is not true. As someone pointed out, if people are so easily influenced by others, I would not love and enjoy Invincible this much. I would not love and enjoy This Is It this much. Many fans here are not only loyal, but also rational. We are not a bunch of conspiracy theorists. Most of us are neutural at Sony and the Estate. We reacted this way because we are all disgusted by their decision to release Breaking News.

As much as I'm disgusted by this Breaking News mess, I'd still buy the album. Even though the excitement is now gone, I don't want this album to have a disappointing sales.

We all want to celebrate Michael's musical legacy. But, I have to say Breaking News is not helping at all.

Sharing your opinion on this. Why try to include demos that cant be used without that kind of transformation? I'd rather have a whole lp of Michael snoring than this kind of crap. He's all we want. His genuine, original work, period.
The way I see it, we dont have the same goal. Sony (and the estate) want to sell stuff. They need music for radio stations and night clubs, to attract new customers. I dont care if there're no finished song on the album. Even if it's just demos, if it's 100% Michael, I'll buy it.

Amen. I totally agree

GUYS PLEASE, THIS HAS TO STOP!!!!

Ok you think 3 songs might be fake, What about the other 9 songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't care about those 3 songs, We have been waiting many years for new MJ songs, and we are just about to get 9 great songs finished by MJ come on. Take it easy, don't be so dramatic

And about MJ's legacy, nothing can damage his legacy. He gave us the best songs, videos, and tours in the history of the world, come on, nobody can take that away.

He will always be the King of Music, No matter what!!!

Be happy because we are 1 month away to hear him again!!!!

I never understood why so many fans were so hell bent on having only songs that were recorded during the 00's era. If there's a song that's great then it should be included on the album no matter what decade it was recorded in.
