We could never lose the magic.

People disagree strongly about a lot of things. Religion, politics, etc. We all have beliefs and opinions.

It doesn't matter which side of this debate you are on; you still have a right to voice your opinion. If I disagree with you about the lead vocals of Breaking News, it really just means we disagree with each other on that one topic. It says nothing about your character, intelligence, or whether or not you are a "real" fan. It just means that we disagree on that issue. That's it, period. If we could only be friends with people who agree with us 100%, none of us would have any friends.

We don't need to agree with each other on this issue to be civil and respect each other. We are all here because we are fans of Michael Jackson's music. We all have that in common. That should be enough.

Someone posted it on MJ's official youtube channel (on BN video page).
I haven't find another source yet.

MJ sold 3.2 million this album in pre-orders.
MJ made history once again.

I haven't seen a single article that even mentions an estimate of pre-order sales.

I would wait for an official press release before taking that as a fact. If that's true, that would be incredible though!
 
^ I highly doubt there have been that level of pre-orders. A number that high is almost unheard of in pre-sales for albums. Until I see something concrete from Sony then this claim has no merit. Also, considering the album has yet to break the Top 10 at Amazon that seems even more unrealistic. Maybe 100,000 ....and that might even be pushing it.
 
So just reading between the lines with everything it looks like there are 10 tracks on the album. Taj Jackson said there are 7 songs on the album he supports and the reports are there are 3 casio tracks so that would reach 10 tracks

The three Casio tracks:

Monster, Breaking News, Keep your head up

Hold my hand

Another Day

Three songs produced by someone named "nephew" and one of those songs is called "Best of Joy".

So that leaves two other songs and I guess one could be a Will I am song and maybe "a place with no name"?
 
These numbers seem unreal.

That would break every existing record.

I doubt it. It did not stay long in the Amazon's top 10.

And with the BN fiasco.....I don't think folks feel a rush to pre-order the album. On the contrary, I have head of people cancelling their order.

Sony better fix this mess quickly...The more it lingers the more damage it does to MJ's sale.

I read this album broke pre-order records too but it just isn't true.

"Michael" just squeezed into the Amazon top 10 for a whil and HMV top25. Take that have been no.1 on preorder forever!

Hope the 3.2 million other MJ fans who have also pre-ordered are as happy as I am ... then all this negativity can just take a side-line thankfully!

Oh and "Breaking News" better be on that album because I LOVE it!

I'm pretty sure the 3.2 million refers only to the official Sony website - If these numbers are even true in the first place.

As much as I want to believe it already has pre-orders of 3.2 million, I don't think it is true.

I pre ordered mine the night of and before hearing "Breaking News." I'm prepared to cancel my order.

One fan suggested that people who want to make certain Michael's voice dominates his CD and is clearly him that everyone who is considering cancelling it does so at the same time to help Sony get the message. I love that idea!

I'm glad you bought a copy of the CD. Stay happy! Sony will release Michael in his CD's (not altered, compressed or impersonated) or we'll bring them down.

I never buy an album without hearing all the tracks first. They are to expensive and if it turns out i only like 2 songs, i've wasted £10-15 that i can't get back. BUT Michael is the exception to the rule..... Until now=(

So the albums pre-ordered on the Sony website would show up on 'Amazon' and HMV' would they? I don't think they would.

Perhaps your scource will confirm you are right - I rather suspect they will.

If Michael contains 12 songs and BN is the only one in which you can doubt if it really is MJ then that seems to me to be a stupid reason to cancel and not support this project. What if it turns out it is MJ on BN? Then fans have been supporting the failure of an MJ album, why would we wanna du that?

I read on another board; a fan was saying they watched album go from #17 on Amazon to #47 in a couple of days. I don't believe that the presales were that huge either.

This bit from the HuffPost article does not console me:

This was a guide demo, supplemented by the supporting vocals of James Porte (for which he is credited), and produced nearly four years later by Teddy Riley.

BN isn't the only one that's the thing. 3 tracks have been consistently mentioned as questionable (they allegedly included only fragments of MJ's voice). We've had various articles on here and insider information. People have to make there own decision as to whether they want those songs. They can listen to them first and then chose. They could decide to buy just the other 7 on iTunes. Its up to them. Pre-sales will not make or kill an album.
 
Hi Iam not canceling my order if ther 1 real MJ track on ther i wanna own it, plus if you have an album and it turns out most the album is fake sony will have to stop selling it and recall it will be worth a bomb lol

that's bullshit,mj didnt stay long on amazon and breaking news made so many people cancel their orders.mostly likely it's a PR spin
 
Come on guys.. Why are you changing your minds?? We don't need proof from anyone. We have our ears and this is not Michael.

And it is not just one "questionable" (fake) song on the album, it's 3. We didn't hear the third one yet but it is from Cascio sessions. Monster is clearly fake and BN is disaster.

I wanna owe new MJ songs too, that's not the thing here. Thing is I don't want an official release containing phoney tracks on the market. It will damage MJ's legacy

Honestly? If this song is not fake or if there is no problem behind this, why until now we have no explanations of Sony/Estate? This delay and that silence has shown that some (not very good :fear:) is happening behind the scenes. :ph34r:

Please listen any Michael Jackson acapella on youtube (Who Is It, Scream, TDCAU...) and then listen Breaking News acapella. Please do that and then we will see who is brainless zombie. You can still have your own opinion..
