Exactlyyyyyyyy....one should not have to guess if it's Mike or not. When i had heard the single, i listened to the snippet of 'DYKWYCA' and after one second in..i KNEW it was Mike.

When all is said and done though, i just don't get this. Why is Sony doing this? For what purpose? Paying MILLIONS for all his material, and then doing crap like this? Sigh.....

To me that's the issue. I'd rather the demo of Breaking News be labeled as simply a demo. It's not right to hire some imitator to "fill in the gap" and pass on as Michael Jackson. I know I hear genuine Michael Jackson in parts of the song. But, this song is not a Michael Jackson song if half of it is filled in by an imitator or filled in by a computer program. This totally kills the integrity of the project.

In all honestly, it seems Michael's ad-libbed parts of the song (if you know what I mean). Like I can imagine him in the studio just trying different things out with ideas that are in his head. He's recored them and then $ony have just got someone else to sing the missing parts (aka the whole bloody song, verses, bridges, choruses, etc)

i completely agree... in part of the song you can recognize Michael's voice... and in the other it is arranged... and about the part containing Michael's name.. it is surely added with the arrangement...

we all know it wasn't ready to be released.... it is very partially the product of aur Michael....
he would surely have made it in his different way.. with his perfection..
but noone can do it in the same way... so we have to be satisfied with this....

I can see Sony saying they were duped & it's not just him on the song. Sorry for the misunderstanding,blah, blah. If they had any sense either, delay the album to get this sorted, or release the album with the tracks that the family say are Michael & save the other tracks until there is conclusive proof that it is Michael.

First of all, the first line of the song had me literally thinking 'what??? No way! He just said his own name!....and twice!'

Since when did Michael sing his own name in his song? He's made SO MANY personal songs, and NONE of them had him singing his own name.

And then there's that part at 2:27 that sounds just wierd. Like 'is that really Michael?' That literally, was my thought when I first heard that part.

Then there's those hee hee's at the end. There's just something about the way those are sung that doesn't sound like Michael. I can't really put my finger on it though. Did anyone else notice something about those hee hee's at the end. And another thing to add, they also almost sounded pasted on there at certain times of the song. Every fan knows that Michael's 'hee's' are spontaneous.

If someone has the acapella, can you please send me the link?

I'm having second thoughts on buying that album. I never wanted to buy it anyways in the first place, because a lot of us know what $ony did to Michael, and know look who they put as gatekeeper of Michael's music...motolla.

If Sony leave this album as it is with that song on it. I'll download it for free.

If they dont release a statement within the next 2 days telling us there was a mistake and theywill take the fake songs off. Im cancelling my pre-order.

Why? Why put this song in the website? Why???

Every project has worked out great from This Is It to the Cirque Du Soleil show pre-sale. The momentum is is buiding up. Why reverse it with such a controversial song?

I'm not a marketing expert, but I just don't see how this fiasco is working to Sony's advantage. This will cast doubt in the integrity of all future projects.

If Sony wants to "test the market", they can do a focus group. Why Teddy Riley put his reputation at risk by supporting this song?

Never in my dream I expect to wake up with this mess.

has anyone contacted the estate or sony? I cant believe they would get a specialest for his voice and not for his murder! that is really what pisses me off. i want MICHAEL not some flunky off the street who sounds somewhat like him.

true. i am convinced we can talk to Sony or estate and aware them that many fans are upset with the song

I noticed that too. They sound flat. It's not him singing that. Something that is so easy for him to sing (not like he has to strain - so the excuse that he was taking it easy doesn't work) and it sounds so different from the real Michael. The "awwo!" and the "ach" in the beginning sound like him though. Possibly edited on from old songs like 3T has been telling us.

They don't want to hire a specialist for his murder. Why would they do that?

They don't care about him one bit. They just care about making $$$ off him.

its not about if its Michael or not anymore, now is about removing this track. Even if we get proofs that IT IS Michael this song will still be unnacceptable (talkin about controversy)

I don't know what to think, I have mixed feelings over Braking News.
I'm 90% sure, it doesn't sound like Michael. If the entire Album is like this song, I'll be depressed.

I'm devastated. I'm so worried about what this will do to Michael's name and his legacy. Whoever is responsible for this should shove it up their arses. They can keep their music...Michael gave us enough to last a lifetime.
