You guys are truly pathetic. I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable. We just got an announcement for a new album!

You know, I actually thought it would brighten things up round here. Maybe people would star becoming less negative once the album is announced.

You find something negative in everything!!!!!! Its not healthy. I think i'd enjoy the build up to the album more away from this place if this is how its going to carry on.

Who actually cares........

The MTV thing, he broke the racial barriers on MTV so thats why that is there.

The Prince symbol, nobody will even see that and its not a big deal anyway

The Pepsi accident, a big moment in MJ's life. Its also him from Off The Wall, but the stage does look like the pepsi accident.

I think the difference though is that the Prince symbol is a copyrighted trademark. Like the Nike logo or a McDonald's arch etc.

On the Beatles' Sgt. Peppers, you can see two spots in the top row where there used to be faces. They were removed when the people refused permission, or requested a fee to use their face.

Do you have to be so melodramatic? It's not insulting Michael's memory at all. It would be so nice to visit a discussion thread one day and see that everyone is getting on and being positive.

We have the new album confirmed, it's definite; who cares about what the bloody cover looks like?

What we've noticed so far...

That Prince symbol did not originally represent love. Prince had used it as a symbol for his name because his record company stole the rights to his actual name. I think he also said it stands for male and female and they were saying there is no way to pronounce it when some started saying the symbol pronounced is hormorphodite.

Unless Prince is on some track on the CD I really hope they remove it ASAP. It will not only cause possible copyright infringements it would likely anger his fans even if they got by on an artwork technicality. He has been through enough with his old record company. It isn't worth the bad publicity and I can just imagine the interviews he could do complaining about if it's not on the up and up.

I just love the idea of hearing the radio host saying "MICHAEL JACKSON, BREAKING NEWS" before playing the track. Because tHIS time the breaking news will be no gossip but his music. His element, where he was best at and what he should be rememberd for. In other words putting that title out this way on monday will be like a sweet revenge on the media.

seeing a Prince symbol on a cover of the new MJ album is too much for me and i'm surprised i'm the only one shocked here

in France, on the forum Mjfrance, we are all completly shocked...by this disrespect shown to MJ by the Estate.

They don't do the Job correctly exactly as they did for the single "This is It" and Paul Anka story...

They do the things fast without any regards towards quality of the product.

Actually, it was called the 'Love Symbol' before Prince starting using it as his name; hence the 1992 release Love Symbol by Prince and the New Power Generation:

Aw come on people be nice...

I know some people are going over the CD cover like a detective but if the errors are there and can be brought to peoples attention before release it can likely prevent a huge backlash.

In church they say "we are the body of Christ, some are eyes, some ears, some a hand a mouth etc."

I think that's just the way we are in life period. Some people will spot things others never would and by spotting things when one is concerned it doesn't mean they are being negative, it just means they are expressing their oncerns.

Some here are great cheerleaders, some look for dangers to prevent, some listen for feedback etc. We are all one. Please let's not tear each other down.
