Nobody will see the Prince logo on the album cover unless they use a microscope.

I jsut hope i will not see the "string" of Madonna on the cover of the next album released by SOny/estate...

if it is the Love Symbol form Prince on this one...evrything is possible...

The MTV logo should be there, it's extremely important in Michael's history... how can you be surprised with that? But you know what... I'm not gonna fall in this discussion, cause what I'm feeling tonight I haven't felt since the Invincible announcement! It's been years that I'm waiting for this very moment to hear of a new album from Michael... and honestly after this whole ordeal that we've all gone through since June 25th, I think we all deserve to take a break and enjoy this wonderful moment of true happiness, stop the bitching and smile like Michael would want us to... so I invite all of you with me in raising a glass in the air in toast to a brand new era begining tonight "The Immortal Era"... an era in which we the fans are responcible to make it shine for our king, let this be our gift to Michael, so he can watch us from above and smile as we continue his legacy for all time! WE LOVE YOU MICHAEL!! * Virtual Group Hug Everyone * =)

It reminds me of Dangerous....I like it.

I just wish it had an image in there of Michael from 2009 This is It film. How could they leave that out? Then again this was a painting not meant to be a cover. Freaking photoshop 'This is it' Michael somewhere in there darn it! lol :laugh:

If a member clicks on User CP at the top of the page, and on the left hand side it says "Edit Ignore" then add a person to your ignore list, then presto!

Ok, I just took a closer look to the cover and I really love it. It's so Michael!!!!! Who invented that stupid thing of that woman in the cover? What's her name? Odra? Osa? Whatever!!!! And I think the MTV thing has to do with the real fact that MICHAEL JACKSON MADE MTV. He turned into the big thing IT USED TO BE. And by doing so, he also made Videos the important things they are (or used to be, according to some).

The thing of the Pepsi incident.... gimme a break!! People are going too far in that, imo. And as for the symbol.... it's just this extremely small thing within a bubble? Is that owned by Prince?

????

I think I was already aware of how it came to be (after him calling himself a slave to his record company) since I have a sister who use to love his music. I remember him saying in an interview there was no pronunciation for it and that it represented his name. After that I think people saw how it was the symbol for male and female combined to make one symbol and that is why they started to say it was the symbol for hermorphodite but I'm not sure.

Are you saying the combined symbol was there before Prince used it and it was being called love when it first came out? I never heard that but I can ask my sister some time, it was during that period she use to listened to his music so she should know.

Its not healthy that your reacting this negatively when you have just heard there is new music being released.........

We arent going to stop being happy about that just because of a Prince symbol on the album cover.

I cant believe i'm even saying that.........the idea that you're THAT annoyed at a Prince symbol on the album cover that is so small is ludicrous to me. Its mind-blowing.

I can understand you being slightly annoyed, but my god! To be so negative at a time like this because of something so small, its mind blowing.
 
I can't believe cnn.com has nothing about this. Not under entertainment - nothing.

AND STILL NO danish newspaper has written about this. Most danes will not have a clue ábout this. Hopefully the PR starts from tomorrow. TV add, billboards etc.

Don't let people get you upset. They respect Michael. They are just wanting to focus on the positive side of things. Please try to find a way to understand.

I think the cover is only part of a bigger picture, you'll have Jackson 5 & a younger Michael to the left and to the right the complete Dangerous face/cover with History to present, hopefully the CD booklet will show this.

This is odd....i had a feeling this would happen, cuz I ran into SOO many MJ rarities today. Went into a indie record store and found some rare THIS TIME AROUND promos ($15 for one and $25 for the 2LP one), along with some re-pressings and 12" singles...went into another store and found the TII 4LP set ($89) ...omw home, got the email, fell in love with the art!

Apparently I'm blind, but I don't see the alleged "Prince love symbol" on the cover. But symbol or no symbol, the cover is simply beautiful.

I love the title too. I was worried about that bit. Michael had a streak of brilliant album titles going, and I didn't want them to ruin it. "Michael" is perfect, though.

This announcement really brightened my day. December 14 won't get here fast enough! :)
