That's EXACLY what I'm thinking...I like the what I've seen of the cover, I wish there was more representation of Mike's later years, and I suspect there is more to the cover...even if it isn't it's nothing more than a cover.

A lot of you are ruining this for yourself before you even get to hear a note of music.

Think about that...

EXACTLY, it's chronological, from left to right. You can just make our the History statue, there WILL BE earth song, scream and loads of other stuff to the right and the J5 to the left.

The more I look, the more I love it.

not the easiest thing in the world to see, it's REALLY small, but he's there! Michael is the one riding the coaster with his hands in the air, Bubbles is hanging on to the back (I circled Bubbles in red

I am insulted that people think MJ would be ashamed of his darker skin being on the cover. MJ had many paintings from the Thriller era at his house.

MJ was a black man for crying out loud...he never claimed to be anything but a black person.

then act like it. Right now i dont see many people happy that we are getting new MUSIC who the F cares about the cover right now. All i am excited for is that we get to hear his voice again with new songs. But no the Debbie Downers have to throw a fit over a cover that was probably thought of when he was alive.

the part i hate about the album cover is that it was released to a bunch of ungrateful fans.

:yes: :clapping: I couldn't care less if the album cover was sky blue pink with yellow dots on! Some people are never grateful.

This is possibly the most bitter sweet announcement I've ever read. I don't know whether to scream or cry.

Yeah, people don't seem to understand, this has NOTHING to do with looks, it has to do with using pictures that represent the MATERIAL...If he recorded these songs if the 2000's why the hell would you use a painting with a bunch of 80's stuff?

Oh since all of the MJ eras has been named after his albums, so will this era be called 'Michael'? :scratch::mello: That's lame if you ask me. For the album name it works, but not for the era name.

Sadly, the only logic name for the era would be the post 25/6 era...

It looks like it's for a greatest hits CD to me also. I hope no one gets confused.

I'm sure most people who see it are going to think it is a greatest hits package. To make sure people don't get confused they are going to have to have banners that say "NEW MATERIAL" and make sure they have lots of TV ads that say "New Album". It's going to make a lot of work and expense for them I would say. I'm looking at it and I almost pass by it on Amazon thinking it is a GH package and then I remind myself it is new lol

I'm so excited!!! This is awesome! Really loving the cover, it's very "Dangerous", something Michael would have loved for sure! Although (sorry for sounding annoying here lol) but there's 2 things (as well as the Prince sign) that are slightly getting to me atm... one is the fact that we are back to having only the Michael of "Off The Wall / Thriller / Bad and... well nothing!" That's really annoying seeing as he did some of his all time best work during the 90's, and it's as if he didn't exist then... but then again, haven't seen the whole thing, cause it obviously looks like there's more on the back of the cover so I'll be patient before making my final verdict on this =)

BUT... and if someone could answer me this... why did they have to add 2 police officers to the cover??? I find that very strange, I can't possibly believe they want to make a refference to the allegations, but then again, what else could it be?? If someone could help me on that one!

There could also be more than one cover to the album, making up the full artwork, that would mean a J5/Jacksons era and then a History/Ghosts/Invincible/This Is It cover, perhaps with a central MJ in each... Ooooh, someone give me a prize if I get this right

How many songs did he do with Kravitz? I know Another Day is one of them.

I dont know I thought it was more than one ... Kravitz once said one song is about his life and where he'd been. It's quite triumphant. ..... Maybe its just Another Day.

The first time I looked at it, it reminded me of HIS Dangerous album! It was sooo complicated but Beautiful. Michael was A creative Humanbeing and this album seems like it would suit him… Michael's albums are always a puzzle…well some, I guess…I'm gonna save sometime to figure out what is in the cover…

Michael liked to march with police officers. There's a lot of footage from the 80s. Of cource, these police officers are not a reference to the allegations.

There was Hundred and Hundred of people or even Artists That MJ Loved...more than Prince.

It's an insult to MJ...Such a Mistake is an Insult...it's pure and simple...

Might be very true, but I wouldn't call it an insult to MJ before hearing the real meaning behind the logo and why it was added.

This cover has actually became a sort of 'Dangerous' type of cover. A lot of little details, which some of them are not so clear to understand and people are trying their best to 'read' the cover

Woo, I gotta catch up, just got the email from MJ.com sent to my phone, just saw the cover, and I must admit, I love it! I like the name, it's simple, yet very effective, a lot of people owe Smooth an apology, when all he said was an album would be coming this year. And people voiced their doubt with profanities and name calling, thanks Smooth, Damien, and Ele.



I'm so excited for this, I cant wait until December 14th. :dancin: :wild:

THAT would be awesome.

Like they make 4 different covers and if you place them next to each other you get on BIG picture. One big square of a HUGE MJ picture. That would be som much more cool than just different colors like Vince.

Personally, I think it's a reference to the Brace Yourself video. MJ used lots of footage of himself with police officers there
