Michael - The Great Album Debate

I find this "hologram" Tupac really interesting, I'm guessing they'll probably do it with Michael. I was creeped when he said "Coachella", something that wasn't around when he was alive. I think it'd be cool to see a Michael Jackson "hologram" performance, but not performing the Cascio songs or anything, oh dear!

Also, this quote from the CNN article "Tupac's hologram might go on tour":
"You can take their likenesses and voice and... take people that haven't done concerts before or perform music they haven't sung and digitally re-create it."

BUMPER likes to ignore PMs!

Why don't you respect the silence in this thread? Hmmm?

@Pentum, sorry, didn't ignore it, simply forgot to answer :D

This is better. Never fails to make me laugh. Epic facial expression.

I really hope those bags were empty.

Oh, and did any of you by chance notice that there is something wrong with three songs on that Michael album? I'm telling you, the voice in those songs is strange!!!

I think that the three songs on that album are quite good. However the remaining seven, I doubt that they're sung by Jason Malachi. They simply ruined Jason's album with those seven songs.

Wow I didnt know Quincy ever weighted in on the Casicos tracks. In this interview RF is trying to push the idea to him that Breaking news is Michael and Quincy says several times but how can you tell .. I cant tell by the vocals there are too many stacks on it. I dont think Quincy thinks its Michael.

Yeah, this was on YouTube shortly after the premiere of the song.

Nice, objective way of interviewing, eh? Not "there is some controversy about this song, what are your thoughts on it?" or "do you think this is Michael Jackson singing?" but "it sounds just like Michael. The song sounds like a Michael Jackson song." Friedman even has to refer to the 'signature melody of the song' to defend its authenticity, as if that has anything to do with the authenticity of the vocals.

Quincy does not seem to want to take a strong stance either way (which already, regardless of the authenticity, is a sign that those tracks should not have been released) and generally seems bored and uninterested. Then goes on to moan about never being thanked by the Jackson family... ah well.

As for Friedman, it's always been clear which side he was on. Still wondering where those work tapes are that he promised would come out one day.

Friedman was getting his info straight from Frank Dileo, hence his unwavering support.

On a side note, I'm just listening to YRMW a capella and it still disgusts me how they actually took breaths from this song and pasted them into Breaking News. If it was really Michael singing, why would they need to do that?

It was just a guide vocal, so maybe he did not breathe?

Haha. Surprised that one hasn't been used yet. Anything to defend the Ca$cios. Perhaps he was experimenting with singing while holding his breath? Unprocessed of course.

@SoCav...:rofl: ....I think you've just solved the debate! :D

Why would anyone, under any circumstances, have to add in actual breath samples? Especially those songs that are considered the 'most complete', and the ones that Michael was so happy with he decided he wanted all other takes destroyed?

Ugh! What has been done to these songs is SO wrong!

Ad libs...Ok, that's fine....But word for word to complete a sentence? Grunts? Breaths? These are NOT MJ songs no matter which way one looks at it..

There are the same handful of breaths pasted in again and again. Sickening.

I wonder who suggested the idea that it wasn't MJ singing on those songs to Quincy Jones. I doubt he was surfing on twitter or MJJc prior to the release of the songs. Oh, wait a minute, he was suggested that it was MJ singing on those tracks! Yeah, but no, Quincy has his opinion -- he can't tell. Why? Because it sounds strange, off, odd, unMichael.

pages 493-505 of this thread are so full of crucial mistakings

thanks to some doubters not knowing and understanding at that time what they could access, many wrong trains of thoughts have been dominating the various conspiracy theories
the impact of this thoughtless misconception is huge and the hateful nonsense that hence followed has not yet been internalized

Still been waiting for the truth to come out... lol.

no worktapes
no Jason on Internet
no Eddie
no nothing and no no one... when one wants to get away with something the best thing is to hide under a rock for awhile... They might hide all their life, nobody forces them to hide. It's very easy to come forward and clear things up (youtube, dailymotion, Q&A session, ...), but apparently it must be THAT difficult to do it.

p.s. Even answering questions to Joe Vogel seemed to have been impossible.

Again, which one are you talking about?

@SoCav and @Korgnex

I am sorry Korgnex, but you've been always acting as if you knew something more about those tracks, yet you've never provided a single info about that seeming extra info you seem to know.

p.s. There are no conspiracy theories when we talk about the Cascio tracks. Check out a list of conspiracy theories and you'll see a huge difference between what a conspiracy theory is and what a Cascio doubter is saying.

Every single conspiracy theory has a rebuttal based on scientific data and tangible and physical proof.

What tangible, physical, proof have the Cascio songs and what rebuttal have they? None, because the main concerned ones are hiding under the rock. I can more easily find a picture of Michael Jackson sitting in his garden reading the newspapers than a single picture of him in that studio where he supposedly recorded not 1, but 12 songs!
