Michael - The Great Album Debate

The first time i heard breaking news the question is it Michael came into my head. I remember thinking it cant be. This doesnt sound like him. Neverless i believed it was Michael. Then i didnt. Then i convinced myself and now i have my doubts. His voice isnt on the cascio tracks clearly. If it is, wth happened. I dont love the cascio tracks, and i dont harmte them. But they still dont feel right

Quality and vocals have been in the debate since the Michael Album and breaking news formed.

If you had followed this thread from the beggining you would have seen that this is not one year later statement. This was put forward from the very beginning!
I followed this since like July or August but I started reading all the posts from page 1 now I'm still reading the Breaking News thread currently on page 30 something.

I was listening to the acappella of BN today and i heard the snort. I went to the album version and couldnt find it. Did they remove it before release?

I'm pretty sure I doubt that :D
Lol no I don't doubt the songs but I wish I could prove it was MJ but IDK how to do wave testing.

But I guess in 2012 during that lawsuit someone will bring it up and they might test them if it goes to court of coarse.

honestly - so unneeded.

this is what is worst about this debate.

Honestly so unneeded to pour oil on fire.

First I was a bit kidding around with ADKI. Second, he started with his 15 years of listening. So before attacking me, maybe you should first see who wrote what before me.

I don't really see what's so bad about them I've been listening to MJ for 15 years now and to me they sound great.

The voice is different ? Yes a little but it's not the first time and Teddy Riley Michael's producer since 1991 explained why it happened well.

And for the people who don't own the album I was reading back on this thread and some people were complaining about the Earth Song ad-libs well FYI on the album version they are not there.

My "Michael" album plays this month

Teddy Riley's explanation was completely unsatisfactory and he has been proven to be a liar (melodyne issue).

No it's still there just less noticeable with the music. Listen to "Critical" by JM and he does the exact same snort there too.

Okay 1 thing you guys call him a liar but he's the person who works on these kind of things have you guys done what he did with the songs and see if you can get a vibrato created ?

I saw what was being written. Regardless I find "kidding around" with 20 year old's and requiring a "25 year" listening period for a proper evaluation - unneeded. As the older people we can be more mature. Sincerely.

Who are you to lecture me? Have some sex with your bf.

We don't need to do anything because we know for a fact that he did not create the vibrato. Teddy worked on 3 songs. The vibrato is on all 12. He said that he caused it by speeding the vocals up on his tracks. This is not true. The same vibrato is present on the versions from before Teddy got them. And he knows that. He lied.

I'm not lecturing you. But the free world and first amendment gives me the right to express my opinion freely - unneeded.

and perhaps you should take your own advice and stop lecturing 20 year old's about their fandom and listening ability. sincerely

In ten years time I hope to KNOW what's wrong with them.

LMAO at this convo. ADKIc3mAnX , you're funny. Must say I love your dedication to Michael.
Lol I was thinking of saying that but then I went with the face and I guess you understood what I meant with it.

:)

Sorry but how do we know that he only worked on 3 and not 12 ?

He might have said 3 because the other 9 are not yet released or announced.
And how do we know how the songs sounded before Teddy worked on them we don't have raw demos.

Yes you are lecturing me. You can express your opinion I don't care about it, but don't involve my person in your opinions.

Because Teddy Riley started working on them on September 1st. The earlier versions that we have are dated from before then. We don't need raw demos. We just need them from before Teddy got them. And we do. We know he worked on 3 because other producers such as Tricky Stewart and Burt Bacharach worked on Keep Your Head Up and All I Need respectively. Monster, Breaking News and Burn 2Nite are the songs that Teddy was given.

I still think that raw demos can easily help or if someone can make an a cappella of Monster.

We have an a capella of Breaking News. It is easy to make one using the right software but it won't make the vocals sound any different.

I know but it's like no one made one for Monster.

And Breaking News has an official a cappella IDK where it released but I heard somewhere that an official a cappella exists.
