Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

Lol... duped Dangerous cassette, yellow Sony walkman, VHS tape and Lazer Disk... How I miss the 80's and the 90's...

Don't forget Beta tapes! :wild: hahaha

Can't believe you had a yellow Sony walkman, too....haha

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

good luck finding a player that can play Beta tape! ;)

hahaha....that's true...I wonder how long my parents held onto theirs...I was watching taped Disney movies in the early nineties on a beta player

At least be honest with yourself, sir. You said "If I thought this was Michael, I wouldn't even consider myself a fan anymore, I'd hang up my glove". Why did you say that? Because you previously claimed that no longtime fan should think Michael's voice is on these records. Which means, to you, anyone who thinks Michael is on these records aren't real fans.

Your words, not mine.

Well seeing as you haven't got the moral fibre to post my actual quote (thereby highlighting your complete inability to grasp the concept of 'honest debate'), here you go:

I wouldn't consider myself a fan if it turned out that I couldn't tell a Michael Jackson song from a fraudsters. One? Maybe. But a whole series of them? I'd hang up my glove.*

If you can't recognise Michael Jackson, what's the point really?
*
Did you read that? I! If I couldn't tell a Michael Jackson song. In other words, if these songs turn out to be legitimate (they're not), I wouldn't consider myself a fan.

Is that clearer for you?

Honesty? You don't know the meaning of the word! Next time you try to outwit me, wake up earlier. And make sure you don't misquote me.

Honesty! Incredible!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

I heard the snippet, but unfortunately didn't get a copy before it was removed by whoever uploaded it.

I also noticed there was a link to a supposed 'full version', but the link was dead.

Anyway, the chorus went like "Marching like a soldier" and the verses sounded very chopped up possibly worse than Breaking News, but interesting beat. Hard to make out the words, though, with it sounding so choppy. Clip was only 19 seconds long. I can't wait to hear more of it. It sounds like Michael to me but still questionable with it's odd production.

so has the full song leaked or just the 20 second clip? can someone pm me the full version if it in fact leaked? thanks in advance ;)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

You believe that the Estate passed up the opportunity to cash in big time on some REAL MJ tracks like Slave To The Rhythm and were stupid enough to be duped by the mediocre Cascio tracks to release mediocre tracks? I'm not making fun, just asking for your opinion. You realize Michael admitted he wrote lots of terrible music.

Why didn't the release slave to the rhythm? because they're liars and crooks and they're ****ing everything up on purpose. i am pretty sure they WANT this stuff to fail. that's really the only explanation at this point. or else they are royally, royally inept.

That's SOOO bizarre! I had a yellow walkman too! For whatever reason - I bought it off a friend of mine, waterproof walkman. Why did I need a waterproof walkman?!? I didn't love music to the degree that I was going to listen to it underwater!

But it had the most amazing sound. Used to blow my ears off daily listening to Public Enemy on the way to school!

Found the HA! in Monster.

This was the only one missed by Pentum lol.Glad we finally found it.

This happened also with the `Hee-Hee-Hee` from Breaking News.It was proved to be a -1 version from the `Hee-Hee-Hee` from In The Closet :)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

Yeah, apparently I was right, it is from Things I Do For You. Maybe they did a little tweeking to it but that's the closest "HA!" you can find.

I thought it was pretty obvious who was on the tracks by the linear notes on the CD. Jussayin'.

Well done team Cascio! Going that extra mile to try and dupe the general public.

With friends like that, who needs Tom Sneddon?

Hahaha...no way! I'm starting to think Sony only sold yellow Walkmans...but they really did have amazing sound! Now that I think about it....Mine may have been waterproof too and I remember wondering why it was waterproof, I'm not gonna use it underwater! :lmao:

I'm kinda lost about the Cascio songs. Were the songs demos with no instrumentals at all?If this is the case then Teddy Riley just used the old beats on it.But also,if I remember well someone posted that the Cascio songs were finished and sung integrally by James Porte so by this way they could `complete` MJ's session. This means the tracks were complete...right?

WTF?!?!

The story has changed so many times that it's obvious to almost anyone who cares that we're being bullshitted. Yeah Teddy only received acapellas. Yeah, Roger Friedman heard the songs pre-Michael in 2006. Yet Michael wrote them in 2007?!?! Yeah the Cascios must have provided audio of the music when registering the songs.

It all stinks to high heaven.

And then add that the vocalist sounds nothing like Michael Jackson and everything like Jason Malachi.

The Cascios... I don't know how they sleep at night.

Still,if Porte already recored them how could have Michael wrote them? Also it seems fishy to register the songs 2 days after his death. They couldn't have finished 12 songs in 2 days I suppose...

Exactly. How did Friedman hear those songs pre-Michael in 2006 if Michael co-wrote them a year later? It's all bullshit.

And then registering them 2 days after he died. Because they know full well that Michael would have sued their asses off if they had tried to add his name to those bullshit songs while he was alive.

The lyrics to those songs sound like they were written in 2 days. Less, even.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

Nice find on the "Ha!", the only one I missed. I never said I was 100% sure it was Jason FYI :)

Edit: I just tried comparing it, and now I'm not really sure if it's the same or not. Very hard to tell, since they can manipulate it a bit.

Don't forget the recording in the shower :p.That must have taken a while,to get the water alright.

^ Jason could never do a kick-ass James Brown 'HA!!' like that!

No, Eddie had that all under control....he was pushing buttons....he was the master of all button-pushing...

I'm sure the PVC pipe had buttons, too...
