Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

So people have this Soldier Boy song in full? Why not share?

And that's a problem to you, because??

huh? i never said it was problem...

You all have never heard ALL OF MICHAELS OUTTAKES. You have never heard the MANY DEMOS that he never finished or just wrote one line of, you have never heard the hundreds and hundreds, maybe thousands, of rough draft songs Michael worked on that are no where near the standard of quality on his released works like Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, Invincible, etc.

You do not know what you are talking about!!!

And I'm immature? Haha :)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

:) Your "I'd hang up my glove" comment was the one I found immature. Thanks, samhabib. Love you, too.

An adult wouldn't consistently say, "people think this is Michael, makes me sick", or "if you think this is Michael, you're not a real fan", either.

Yes they would.

Besides, that second line, as much as you wish I would refer to 'real fans' -I never have. Not in that context, anyway. So try again.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

huh? i never said it was problem...

But wasn't that in response to you and Sam's discussion regarding certain opinions and how mind boggling they may be, to you? Which usually insinuates a problem.

BTW, if you get that bent out of shape, over a differentiating opinion regarding a certain matter, over the internet, to the point where it makes you "sick"...Maybe this thread isn't a safe environment for you, and possibly seek help.

At least be honest with yourself, sir. You said "If I thought this was Michael, I wouldn't even consider myself a fan anymore, I'd hang up my glove". Why did you say that? Because you previously claimed that no longtime fan should think Michael's voice is on these records. Which means, to you, anyone who thinks Michael is on these records aren't real fans.

Your words, not mine.

And my point is that anyone who writes anything as ridiculous as your blogs has no right to refer to anyone as 'immature'. Is that clear?

WHOA WHOA!! Why haven't you attacked Aniram for saying that it makes him sick that people would bet their life that it's Jason on these songs?? I never once said it makes me sick.....Never once....So, nice try...I don't appreciate this attack....

What makes you think I was referring to you?

umm...read your post again...Who were you referring to then? You included it in quote for me.....If you didn't mean me, then maybe you should have said who it was meant for....

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

I did say that, but I feel uneasy when anyone says they bet their life on something without any real proof. I can maybe understand saying you bet your life Michael Jackson is on Hold My Hand, but the Cascio tracks are just a different story... These songs were completed after his death and reworked the most.

You are absolutely right. We never heard all the recordings Michael had ever done. We have no access to the fault. No one is saying that every work-in-progress material from the man is perfect. Of course the demos and outtakes are not perfect, Michael Jackson didn't completely finish them.

Think about it. Michael Jackson only released six studio albums since OTW. He's painfully selective in his crafting process. He's a perfectionist's perfectionist. He didn't release material he didn't believe in. He never ever took his fans' love for granted. He strived to give his fans good qualtiy.

Michael Jackson was not capable of creating mediocre or bad music. It's not in his genes. It's not how he was brought up.

Although we haven't heard all his demos, we heard enough to know his standards. I honestly can't name one bad demo or outtake.

I do all my posts like that, whenever I'm referring to multiple people, I try to space them to give some indication that I've left one topic or subject and on to another. But you should know rather it applies to you or not, if you didn't say anything about someones opinion giving you some sort of discomfort, then why jump to respond to it?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

I have very low risk tolerance. I don't gamble. I don't put money in risky investments. However, I can bet my life on Michael Jackson is not the lead vocalist 100% of the time on the Cascio tracks, as claimed by Sony.

I can't either... However, I'm sure there are. Yes, it makes me sad to hear these Cascio tracks a lot of the times. I know it is definitely far from what Michael would have wanted. I want to know if they are real or not. They have been butchered to shit. I feel Michael and I hear Michael in them. I hear different voices in all the Malachi/Michael comparison videos. So I am still confused about this issue.

The 'doubters' seem to have selective reading or something... I state this over and over that I have doubts and am still confused and searching for answers on this issue yet I am attacked and ridiculed by you people. Then if I defend myself or just get a little cocky back at you, always in defense, you act super offended like I have insulted you and you are royalty. You just want people to nod and agree with you or you get upset. Why can't you debate peacefully? You always want to pull out a sword and duel.

You are basically saying that there are two different voices in this little clip?

I'm sorry, but no matter what you say, you're 100% wrong.

What about:

When you look up in the air there’s a monster
vs
Mama say mama got you in a zig zag

What about:

When you see them in the street that’s a monster
vs
And you’re running, And you’re running

What about

And tell me you like, dont you, dont you like it
vs
Say you wana be star, say you wana go far

And, did you compared them to the first leak as I suggested, not the album version which is filtrated.

By the way no matter what you say, I am not going to say you are 100% wrong. If thats what "you" hear is ok to me.

Regards.

Aniram, people are offended when you suggested Michael Jackson was not as great as who he truly was. Or, when you said Michael was getting boyband-ish and put N'Sync and Michael in the same sentence, many of us would be upset.

The guy wrote Earth Song and SIM for goodness sake. He's great. Period. The Cascio tracks are nowhere near Michael's typical standard. I just don't understand why some here keep saying Michael wrote mediocre stuff. He may have worked on not-so-great songs, like If You Don't Love Me and Whatzupwitu. But, if we consider the whole picture of Michael's career, Michael was great and had a super high standard.

Honesty? You don't know the meaning of the word. Go back and read my post again and quote me ACCURATELY. With my ACTUAL words. Not your unintelligent interpretation. Do it now because I'll post it here in a few minutes and it's going to show you up as a complete liar. Go and read my quote again.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

@love is magical: That doesn't matter. Don't you realize that I already know what you're saying? Just because he wrote amazing incredible genius music doesn't mean that he didn't write a few songs you'd consider mediocre. You cannot please everybody, not even all of his fans. It's just not realistic. It's also not realistic that his voice would always sound perfect, no matter what, at any time.

But, has anyone of us suggested every song wrote and sung by Michael Jackson is perfect? Not that I'm aware of. What we keep saying is that the man was very selective in the materials he chose to work on. He had extremely high standard for himself and his collaborators. It's his perfectionist character. He's borned that way. He's raised that way. He didn't know what mediocricy means. Even his ex-wife said so. He only released six albums in his adult life, yet all six of them are among the best in pop history and all six of them are among the best selling in music history. Who else has this achievement? He would not have achieved what he had achieved if he didn't have such high standard.

Many of us think the Cascio tracks are amateurish. They are not worthy materials. Why would Michael Jackson, the genius, the perfectionist, the master in studio, would commit himself in not one, but 12 demos.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

^^ I did say he was a perfect musician...And I still stand by that ;)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

yeah... but, you didn't say he sounded perfect all the time or ALL his songs are perfect. ;)

the thing is we all know michael jackson was great. muscially, he's almost flawless. gotta love the man.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

Let's go back to the nostalgia! :wild: I'm feeling......nostalgic .....bahahaha....i'm lame...I know...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

I'm curious. Even if you like the Cascio tracks and think they are nice pop songs, do you really think Michael Jackson would think the songs highly enough to lay down almost complete vocals on 12 songs? And, he didn't bother completeing Hollywood Tonight and Another Day.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Conspiracy)

Lol... duped Dangerous cassette, yellow Sony walkman, VHS tape and Lazer Disk... How I miss the 80's and the 90's...
