Where did you catch that info?.

I read those 2 titles in a pirate compilation.

I don´t think they are real tracks because some persons told me that the torrent has a virus.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

"Black Widow" and "Ready 2 Win" DO exist. That above torrent is fake though. Some people (including me) know the names of all 12 Cascio songs.

There is something VERY VERY STRANGE.

We knew that "Water" was from Cascios...

Now, Femster register 9 songs, including ¿"Water"? and other like....

"D.I.E"?

"H20"?

What´s happening here?.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Who's Femster?

EDIT: ...Neff-U?

perhaps they are reworking the songs?

or Michael reworked the songs with them as well?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Yep, I also don't see anything strange about this.

Such registrations only mean that these producers worked on these registered tracks.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I bet no one can post a snippet of "Water", "Burn 2 Nite" or "Black Widow" :)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Be careful what you bet for.

But Cascios did not show in the register for the lyrics :

or in the register for the production:

If it´s a song from Cascios, why they aren´t in the registration?.

IT´S NOT NORMAL.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

^ Actually it IS normal. Search for old registrations of the song "This Is It". It doesn't mention Paul Anka at all.

These registrations are often incomplete.

Also:
The "date of creation" does NOT(!) mean the song was recorded in the mentioned year. It's most often just the date when sth was touched for the last time.

Yes, in that song it doesn´t show Paul Anka, because his song was "I never heard". That was the registered name for that song, not for "This is it", the renamed name by Sony.

"Water" has the same name like the song from Cascios.

The "This is it" registration was a mistake from Sony. They had to paid so much money to Anka.

Now we have a Cascio song with LYRICS registered by Femster.

IT´S NOT NORMAL.

The song "This Is It" was NOT(!) registered by Sony. This entry at the US copyright office has been online FOR YEARS, even before MJ died. ;)
I remember this very well.

Sony did NOT(!) re-name the song, Michael's original version was really named "This Is It".

actually a song could have multiple registrations even under different names

for example Neff-u and Michael Prince could have written / recorded a bridge a verse with Michael and could copyright that and then Cascio's could have copyrighted the parts that they have done.

copyright registrations do not need to be for complete finished songs everything can be registered.

or simply it could be a different song with same / similar name

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Maybe this gives us a hint about how real the Cascio songs are?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

What do you mean exactly, Dorian? Because the Neff-U seems to have worked on them?

Not, the legal name is "I never heard", not "This is it":

http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp...72974&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

he had other song called "This is it":

"This Is It" (1984) Michael Jackson Written in 1980
Not to be confused with "This Is It" a song featured on the 2009 soundtrack album Michael Jackson's This Is It

Yeahh, Michael wrote many song about "Water", "H20"...

Sorry, but i can´t believe it.

If you go to the Estate of Michael Jackson register, you will see the song "Water" listed and nothing about the Cascios. It´s impossible that in that song it doesn´t show the name of the Cascio if they made it and if it was supossed to release in the next proyects.

Don´t tell me the excuse about the bridge, this was a song from Cascios, not from Feemster.

Eddie and Porte wrote that song, not Feemster.

"Water" Michael Jackson

Eddie Cascio

James Porte

The song was allegedly recorded by Jackson in 2007 at the Cascios' house. This background has caused the song's authenticity to be questioned.
A snippet of the song was allegedly sung by Jackson in the film Michael Jackson's This Is It
It is unknown if this is an actual song Michael Jackson worked on. Many people believe the part from Michael Jackson's This Is It where he sings "Water, water..." was just his way of asking for some actual water to drink and not part of an actual song called "Water".

By the way, i think that it´s another fake from Cascios, sung by Jason Malachi.

:cheeky:
