I've just seen the 9 new song titles, including Water and H20 in the News forum, and immediately questioned whether it was real. Now I see Cascio's name against one of them, I'm really thinking it's trying to capitalise on one of MJ's spontaneous TII moments.

Would this copyright be pertaining to the short few seconds that MJ sang it in TII, rather than a song in itself, to deter someone ripping it off?

9 songs registered do not have Cascio's name on the registration. We are just speculating about any possible relationship between the newly registered "water" and "H2O" with the rumored Cascio song "water". Like I said before these could be completely different songs than the Cascio songs even though they have the same name.

The registrations is done by MJ Estate, Neff-u and Michael Durham Prince. So as Neff-u and Michael Prince is credited for production, music, lyrics and such I do not think that this is related to TII. (the few seconds Michael sang it in TII would have been registered solely by MJ Estate, I think).

On Thursday, I listened to the MICHAEL album on my way to work. I played the songs in order; however, I usually skip Monster and Breaking News. I happened to wear gloves, had a cup of coffee and office building pass on my hands, so I was not able to press the forward button of my iPod when Monster started. I let it play. I got to the office, put down my coffee and building pass, took out the iPod from my jacket and hit paused.

So, I worked day and night, by the time I left the office I totally forgot what song I was listening in the morning. I put the headphone on and pressed play. The moment Moster started to play. It caught me in suprise. I thought "who is it?". It felt very foreign to me, as if I didn't know the voice. Again, it felt foreign and unfamiliar.

Any one who has similar experience?

I usually skip the 3 C tracks too. However, a few weeks ago I decided to listen to the full album following the news about the HT and BTM releases. I also wanted to get a fresh perspective of the songs as I had not heard them in a while. Unfortunately, my concerns about these tracks were only reinforced following this session. I did not hear Michael's voice in these songs.

Completely agree. I had put Monster on a few weeks ago just for shits and giggles it just sounded even more foreign than ever.

Understand this.

Monster has had an affect done to the vocals, to make it fit the track, people were doubting it the first time they heard it.

Hollywood Tonight, exactly the same thing, no one doubted from the first time they heard it.

Now... there is something wrong!

Because HT sounds like Michael despite the processing, and Monster does not, period.

^^ Exactly...we've heard MJ processed before, and still undoubtedly him...The extraordinary amount of doubt cast over these songs cannot simply be justified to some 'over processing'...To me, it's absolutely ridiculous.

Agreed - i'm thinking the same too.

They have taken something completely random and spontaneous and used it as a basis for a so-called song he recored to appear more convincing.

I just wonder how long will the officials play games with our ears and start presenting some hard evidence. Not partial analysis, but evidence. Till then, they can keep those tracks in the fridge.

They should have just released all the fake 12 songs on one album. At least then it would have been the lowest selling MJ album of all time :lol:

And it wouldn't have tainted the already GOOD & GENUINE songs on "Michael"
