Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Sam will be back as soon as something new emerges. He's busy with a project.

So Sam will never be back, because new evidence will never emerge, right?

I wonder who doesn't read whose posts. Did I say "new evidence" or "something new"? Since when "something" means "evidence"?

^ Couldn't help it, could you, Bumper? :p

Indeed, when I see attacks and/or misquotes and/or half-truths and/or lies such as the Cascio tracks I can't help it.

Are you Sam in disguise?

Are you following the thread when you ask questions or are you posting randomly without expecting any answer from anyone?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I highly doubt Sam will be back..

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

@ Bumper, of course I'm following this thread. :D And my replies were questions to you, so obviously I was expecting you to reply. :)

Can't you take a joke? You can joke around but when I do it you jump on me? I wasn't attacking you, get over it!

I didn't say you attacked me.

p.s. In this case it was rather a misquote from your part, not an attack.

Since when has Much to soon been in doubt?? Please can someone back me up on this Youtube page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYHg...HBvEAhdWoT2tQzMyM1jo3dex0EyTOs4&feature=inbox cos there are idiots determined to make ppl think none of the songs on Michael are MJ, even the ones well all know and agree ARE him. (i'm not here to argue about the cascio tracks, i believe its him, no one will change my mind) To me, this so called "proof" is one of 2 things. MJ's voice slowed down, or the more likely option, some lame ass kid (the uploader no doubt) singing into a f-ing Dictaphone

Don't waste your precious time on youtube on a song that is Michael's. I personally don't debate any song except the Cascio's ones which don't sound Michael.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Here is what I think. I can drive a tractor. OK? So that's my first point.
Second, I prefer eating mushrooms than smoking weed. Needless to say how sober I am.
Having said that, none of you has more credibility than I do. In all modesty I am perfect. I can drive a tractor, remember? So, yesterday I played pacman and when I connected all the dots I can draw the only possible conclusion: there were no more dots to connect. So please respect my opinion as I am entitled to have one.

Interesting theory, but I must admit that hardly anyone will understand your point.

Sadly, it seems the controversy surrounding fake vocals has indeed penetrated the general public judging from on online comments such as the above. There are also many postings regarding HT being fake. This could also help to explain why the album has done so poorly in the US relative to expectations. Unfortunately, ALL future releases of legitimate songs may now be tainted thanks to these bullshit Cascio tracks. Ultimately, these songs could end up costing Sony/the Estate tens of millions of dollars in lost revenue. Were these songs really worth all of this?

They should have released them separately as a bonus or something, I always said that. But they don't care, do they. When one apple is rotten no wonder that it risks contaminating healthy apples in the basket.

Excellent analogy :)

This gamble has clearly backfired. Big time.

Well, thanks to boycotters that post negative comments everywhere so some think other songs also fake.

But speaking objectively, even without Cascio songs, I am not sure songs like HT will be doing good in the chart. The song is incomplete, the vocal is not that great.

Other factors - interest in MJ might be not as great as right after his death. Songs not fit with the music scene right now.

^^ don't forget shoddy promotion...

We don't boycott Michael, we boycott the doubt! There should never ever be a slightest doubt over a single phoneme sung by MJ!

^ I am just respond to donalb comment regarding the public, and why album not doing well.
I agree about lacking promotion, but why invest more money then if fan boycott..

They knew that fans would indeed boycott this...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Before accusing fans we should maybe thank the Cascios for their contribution from the moment they agreed to sell those tracks.

Exactly....However, a lot of fans consider the Cascio's as the innocent party in all of this...They would never betray Michael...noooooo.....Just like so many others who have betrayed him....It's not entirely impossible and certainly not hard to believe...(at least to me)...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Even the Cascios who had known Michael for years can hear that their tracks sound nothing like Michael's usual tracks. Yet they agreed to sell them without a slightest trace of proof.

If the tracks didn't sound that different I could understand the fact of not needing a trace of proof. But here, come on, claiming that everything was destroyed, even that the computer was broken down and that there was no back-up, nothing, is really hard to believe.
