Michael, should have been buried long time ago after the memorial service was over. And I also think it's not good idea bury him on his birthday the Jackson family should celebrate his birthday and Michael's children should cut the cake.

like honestly and truly, mj is gone. that's the worst thing out of this whole thing. when and where he's buried doesn't negate the fact that he's STILL NOT BURIED. im guessing the fam was fighting over where to bury him and they finally conceeded so now they have the plans to do so.

it just so HAPENS to be august and it's the month of his birth so y not? y not make his birthday more meaningful than by puttinghim to rest?

what i don't get is y joe allegedly told the time and place. um...media? and then they'll know wher emj's grave is by doing that. smh
 
Well last night Geraldo did say contarilly to what we have hear about Michael already being buried......He said that he has factual word that Michael would be buried at the end of the month..but...he didn't specify what day. So now Joe is coming out saying that Michael will be buried on August 29th. hmmm...well my first thought was oh no not on his birthday....Then my second thought was ...well..Michael is not laid to rest yet so if this is what is Mom Katherine has decided.....then so be it. Michael NEEDS to be laid to rest regardless of the date I guess. An if it gives his family some comfort then who am I to say other wise.
 
Michael would just be shaking his head right now, he's gone and he still can't escape the media and the stories.

As far as I'm concerned, he should have been burried weeks and weeks ago. Maybe he was? And they aren't saying anything? But I am not family, so it's none of my business. When and where they bury him is up to them and no one else.

But it's an awful feeling all the same knowing that it's taken so long for him to be layed to rest. Most people are burried within the 1 -2 weeks, it shouldn't take longer for Michael just because of who he was. Yes, he was special - but he just wanted to be treated like a normal person, he should have be granted a resting place straight away.

But as I said, that's just my opinion.

Agreed. He should have been laid to rest after his service. And why should anyone fight on where to lay him to rest at? Quite frankly, in the "Normal" scheme of things, and all funerals I have been to, they have taken place about 4 days after their initial death. Why it took them 2 months to figure this one out is beyond me.

He has been at peace upon his death, at least, that's what I believe, but he should have been buried a long time ago.
 
mike been in peace since the 25th. it's everyone else making this a long damn drawn out thing when it didn't need to be. i can understand thememorial being a problem logistically but everything else? katherine has the power to do this, screw what everyone else wants

Maybe the whole point of the interview from Joe's standpoint was to promote his artist but the writer of the article only printed what he said about MJ.
 
okay well we can't change the past. We can't change that he wasn't buried sooner. ---- The final gift we can give to him on birthday is to actually rest in peace.
So, It doesn't upset me. I know that the decision isn't up to us..but it's a nice idea.
 
I don't like the idea that much. Is that picture is where he will be buried? I hope I can go to place a flower one day.:(

You said it all. He was his mother's son, and his childern were his world. What ever is best for Katherine and the childern.

I just want him burried, he's at peace...just let his soul and body rest. Amen.

forest lawns sounds like a good choice as many other celebrities are buried there. i never thought neverland was a good idea because michael left the place after the police raids.
 
There might have been a very good reason that Michael has not been buried yet. Maybe linked to the criminal investigation.
 
well they waited while they did all the tests, including on the brain, which was finally returned to the family. after all you want to bury the body intact. thats the main thing. when i heard he will finally be buried my response was - finally!!!! but with an investigation still going on, they had to wait
 
They don't have to wait till the investigation is over!
This could take months, hell it could take yrs.
You bury someone as soon as they do the autopsy.
The coroner must keep samples of everything in case this goes to trial.
I don't know of anyone else famous or not, murdered or not who has taken this long to be laid to rest.
 
It seems to me has no of value when Michael will be buried, because has passed a lot of time from the moment of death. I would want that it has not been buried at all and so and laid where lays. I do not know in what to trust that it is buried that was not present. They have not allowed to live easy and do not give rest after death.

I have not heard of anyone taking this long to be buried. It's unheard of, until now.

I have no idea, Starde for real, as I never followed James Brown. I was not a fan. I guess that's why I didn't know that.

I didn't say the investigation was why they had waited, I just said there could be a good reason why they have waited.

It could be they waited due to Jermaine's insistence that Michael be buried at Neverland. In additon, they had to decide where to bury the most famous person on the planet. Whose place of rest (inaccessible or not) will become a mecca for fans from now on. The family would want Michael safe and to stop anyone desecrating his place of rest.
