Michael Jackson v. Wade Robson, a new trial to be held

How exactly will they get round the fact that he lied under oath,or will none of that be mentioned, are they just going with the touring side of things will the estate be able to bring up all the lies that were proved.

That's perjury, isn't it? You'd think it would matter. Then there's also things like in his younger years waiting for the Dangerous album, that's definitely victim behaviour (NOT) but I'm sure he will claim he didn't realise it was abuse yet, sigh. Then there's also Taj with those texts by Wade about wanting to hang out with Taj and the children of Michael, after his passing. Victim behaviour? I think not, and this "I didn't realise it was abuse" bullshit only gets you so far. You were a grown ass man when you texted Taj.

The fact that he wrote what he did in the opus, calling Michael one of the best people ever or something close to that. The times he told a way different story than his mother did. The fact that the mother liked many pro MJ things on Facebook which was waaaaay after the so called abuse. The fact he was dying to be part of Cirque du Soleil, the dance classes he gave inspired by MJ and his music, the fact he wanted to get married in/on Neverland.

These are only a few things. The low burden of proof may be there, but you would think all these things sure count for something.

i wish there was a crying reaction.

Just think his defence is going to try and focus on time away from neverland, and push for traveling /touring that's the only thing they are focusing on his defence will try and keep everything else out. And how the hell could you select a jury? Surely that's unfair even if they haven't watched that trash it was everywhere that's got to count.

YES

Isn't perjury a criminal offense? Why isn't Wade answering for that? I don't know what the punishment for it is, but so far it seems this motherfucker just gets away with anything, ffs.

Oh man this prick makes me so furious, if God willing......aargghhh.

And the estate has access of course to all of that and they can show it to the jury. A sane person would make some serious question marks on the credibility of that guy. James is a bit of a different story I guess, seems we don't have nearly as much on that prick as we have on Wade.

But that's because James wasn't in the spotlight as much as Wade was during and after MJ's passing. I bet Wade reached out to him before making LN and since James was in financial dire straits......

No doubt he definitely did contact him, I've always thought safechuck might buckle under pressure, it's different filming that BS he was coached and it was scripted

The reason why there is no perjury law being made is cuz everyone is out to get mike even though hes dead they dont care

The statue of limitations for perjury had expired well before Wade changed his tune. Statue of limitations in CA is about 3-4 years. So that is not a conspiracy against MJ, its just the law.

I always felt that James is the more lenient of the two A little pressured or even bullied by Wade,. But i cant be sure .

But i do think that WR should do time for this.

Yes I agree, think he's gotten deeper into all of this than he thought, and with out doubt he is intimadated by him.

"If the final ruling is the same as the tentative, more than likely the Estate will appeal to the Supreme Court.
SC only hears 5% of the cases submitted, so it's a long shot.
If SC hears the case, and rules for the Estate, it's over. Wade loses.
If the SC [hears the case and] rules for Wade, it goes back to the lower court for trial.
If the SC refuses to hear the case, the case will go back to the lower court for trial."

I don't want to post this next tweetX in full bc it references JS and I don't wanna go there. But @andjustice4some posted this accompanying text:
"This is the kind of "marketing" you have to look forward to if this goes to trial. Let's all hope that the CA Supreme Court is willing to hear the case."

Here in the UK I had completely forgotten that each American state has its own Supreme Court, separate from the federal Supreme Court which serves the entire US. I wonder if that makes a difference to MJE legal team deciding whether to go for an appeal or not.

I don't really have anything useful to say about this. I'm just thinking out loud ... 🤔

@Oldtimer yeah thanks for replying -I truly felt that too. I hope he is okay, and i would forgive him in an instance , because i feel ...yeah ...I think he has been dragged into it too. I hope he is ok.
:(
because people who have truly been abused know when someone is being pressured.. From today , I'm calling WR, JS's abuser.

I hope James comes to our side. I'm exactly 1 year older than him. come back to our side James. This trial will make you ill. I don't want you to go to prison-or your Laura to have to endure that pain.
:(

I wonder if Kris Smith would be called to testify? ...if we are going all the way back with this - wouldn't the estate need as many people as possible ? and i don't want to drag you into this Kris , i respect you but you were there too. I loved you guys. :(
the Estate should invite every single kid from those yearz and lets get this over and done and put wade behind bars where i really , really feel he deserves to be
urbanemuse please help us. 🙏

Allegedly but I still think it would be unreasonable to try to get Britney involved. She has her own stuff to deal with. I don't think she needs to be drawn into this. It most likely wouldn't be healthy for her.
Yeah it's totally random. I shouldn't have mentioned. Basically has nothing to do with this.

They're going to show all the holes in how MJs corporation did not facilitate abuse and have nothing to do with these lurid allegations..and how innocent the events in question were.

Conversely, I have NY Times now. I will share some things that are valid.

This is very scary, imagine what could happen to Michael's legacy if some miracle on Wade's part happens and Michael is found guilty? He could get cancelled again, however I'll always stand my ground as an MJ fan and say he's innocent no matter what the court says. We'll have a biopic to tell Michael's side of things too, Michael won't be able to defend himself but hopefully his biopic can speak for him.

This is going to be very interesting, now I don't mean to treat this situation as a joke because it's very serious but, give me all the tea this trial has to serve because I'm here for all of it 🍵🍵🍵🫖

Mr. Garcetti told reporters: "Michael Jackson is presumed to be innocent as any citizen in this room is if they are not convicted of a crime. We are not charging Michael Jackson with a crime."

ALRIGHT!! Y'know I felt like the spirit of Michael wanted Get Your Weight Off Of Me to leak online, to give the message to stop putting so much weight/controversy on him, maybe I'm overthinking it but the song really fits the current situation.

@Oldtimer yeah thanks for replying -I truly felt that too. I hope he is okay, and i would forgive him in an instance [...]
I wouldn't forgive JS but that's bc I don't think it's my place to do that. I don't condemn WR and JS to hell but I don't forgive them, either. For me, only Michael could forgive them since he's the one they are trashing.

Wade just looks like a total douchebag. Like the kind of guy that vapes and wears a Stüssy hat.
Truly not meaning to have a go at you but I'm very uncomfortable with comments like this. Bc I see the same type stuff being said about Michael. 'Oh, he looks weird, he looks like a blah blah blah.' It's part of the reason the MSM loves to pick the worst photo of Michael they can find. Perhaps I'm overreacting to / overthinking your comment. I am very tired, atm. :(

This is going to be very interesting [...]
I do feel weirdly conflicted about this. It's devastating and I wish it wasn't happening but it is also interesting, trying to figure out, for example, what their game plan is. The end game is money, of course. But the game plan for the trial, since they now know a lot of what they are claiming has been heavily challenged, I'm wondering how they plan to address that.

You would think though if what gavin said was true in 2005 he would back wade and james up
