I finally got Kinect today and I'm hoping to get the game tomorrow in the post. If you get the game from HMV, you get a wireless microphone as well as a lyrics book and "Another Part of Me" as a bonus track. Is it bad that I got Kinect almost exclusively for this game?

Really can't wait to get my hands on this tomorrow :D I'll be posting videos on my youtube channel dressed in full MJ costume attire for the Kinect version next week :)

Altough from what i saw from the youtube video of the kinect game last nite , it looked a lil odd. Lets hope it may look better on proper tv screen
 
I don't think so. I was actually hoping that it would record the song you were playing to so you could have a record of the performance.
 
Just tried it today on Wii. - Great game.

Only played 3 songs so far, so many to go.

Great game.

Is anyone getting the PS3 SE release?

I just picked up the Kinect version a while ago so now I have to order a 360. I hope to be playing this by the beginning of next week.

I was able to see the kinect game being played and it actually looks good on the tv screen. When i saw it for the first on youtube the other night it didnt look good to me

Gamespot's review for the Kinect version. I think it's a fair review and one that I agree with 100%.

They took notice to there being no area in the game for the inclusion of DLC. Still, there is hope because I know some singing games where you just download off Live itself and when you turn on the game, its there. I still can't believe there was no special edition to speak of. At least here in the U.S. The Wii got a glove...the Kinect got nothing. Big dissapointment. I expected a hat (the one in the Smooth Criminal trailer) or something. That HMV package looks perfect.

Oh and Jesta, don't worry. I got the Kinect JUST for this game haha. I'm not disappointined...I just wish there would have been more to it. Ah well, developers are working on some interesting stuff for this set up.
 
Actually, judging from the trailers saying "Music Downloads not rated by ESRB" I think the kinect version will have DLC eventually. If you got the Collectors Edition with "Another Part of Me", you should've gotten a redeemable code, which would then put the song into your hard drive, effectively making it DLC. So I think that there will be DLC eventually.
 
I am a little disappointed essentially in the Training Session. I got Dance Central and the Training Session to learn the steps is much more better.

Yeah I actually popped the disk in for a play today and watched the "Billie Jean Training Session". I thought it was amusing that they were showing us the key moves that he did for that performance...some of which don't even make the game. I thought the Dance School was going to be about learning the moves of the game...I guess not? I didn't bother checking out the others ones yet.

Oh, I just got done doing "Earth Song" and for some reason when the piano started I teared up a little bit!! I don't know why but I did it when the song was over as well...weird. I also did a few other tracks like "The Girl Is Mine" which I have to mention because I thought the backdrop was terrible.

Did anyone else try "The Way You Make Me Fee". I tried one of the levels and it kind of looped at the end for me and then just cut off while there was still one more move that was to come up on the screen. Anyone else experience this? I was also kind of disappointined that the dance from the video wasn't in this...perhaps it's on the hardest one?

Interesting enough I tried "Smooth Criminal" on the hardest level and I think that might be one of if not the best at duplicating the video/performances. I don't recall any random moves in there that didn't make sense.
 
Got my ps3 version, after I test I will post my thoughts ...I am happy !:) Another Part is bonus song downloadable with code inside the game cover.
 
Can anyone tell regarding the Kinect version:
1.) Is "Another part of me" really exclusive to the Collector's Edition?
2.) Can the (cheaper) Collector's version at HMV also be played on a German Xbox360? Is there any difference to the German edition?
 
I was playing today & yesterday & while I got so excited about playing this game, I started to get sad & I sat down & cried.
 
Got the PS3 version today and played for hours with a friend. It is great fun :D Really good workout too lol.
I must have looked a fool playing but I didn't care :lol: Thriller is my favourite so far, great fun.
 
5 Stars yet? In the Closet and TWYMMF for me so far,they seem harder than the Wii or is it me?
 
Perhaps on the normal performance, but the Master Performance in "Smooth Criminal" is really difficult, especially with the quick gestures to do the signature move!
 
I will probably end up on someone's Facebook or Youtube video tonight. I went to Best Buy with some friends after dinner to demo the game since they were interested in it. When we arrived there was no one present at the display but once we got into it (especially me) there was a huge crowd around with a few phones out filming.

Anyways, it looks like my 360 will be delivered tomorrow so I will be able to start playing sooner than I anticipated.

This is a fun game when you get good really good at it,but when your learning its REALLY hard!(Remember the time and one move in BOTDF) But overall the DLC could only improve this game, aswell as some video unlocks aswell as pictures.

Also: At hmv.com the Collector's Edition (XBox360) is much cheaper than on amazon.de. Can anyone tell if it can also be played on German Xboxes? Thx.
