I think that seeing a tunnel has become a widely known story that's been told, much like seeing pearly gates - so if that is what people expect to experience when they die, then they will. Thus some people experiencing it and some not. I imagine when those see a tunnel though it is linked with the light/transitioning onto the astral plane.

In my honest opinion simply dying IS transitioning, you don't have much of a choice. Your physical body dies- you transition. Where you end up on the Astral Plane is another story.
But transition- we all must and will.

Some will be closer to the physical plane than others, for sure.

I highly recommend a wonderful book by Annie Besant that I have been given that wonderfully explains some of these mechanisms, Physical Plane, Astral Plane etc.

I was reading through sympathy quotes and I realized that in the past people on average had to deal more often and more directly with death (in places like the US, Europe, etc... I realize some places nowadays are in terrible hardship). I mean back in the days of no antibiotics, no insulin, no vaccinations, not to mention war and famine. My great grandmother wrote down the family history before she died back in the 80's. In it she wrote that my great grandfather's family had 7 or 8 children and all but two of them died of diptheria in ONE NIGHT. Five kids... poof, gone, dead. And that was not an unusual occurance. No wonder there are so many dramatic quotes about death from a century ago...

Have you guys ever came across Elena Blavatsky books, a founder of theosophy? She was born in 19 century in Russia but she died in England and traveled all over the world. She probably could not be that free with her spiritual knowledge and psychics abilities in Russia because of Orthodox Church etc.(?) She was against Christian doctrine in general including church teaching that animals do not have souls.
Here is one her article about it. I find it very logical and powerful.

I've had repeating statements like this in "his voice" in my mind sometimes. I take it as a message, like when I kept "hearing" the phrase "Do something!" I wonder what "Whatcha doing?" means. Maybe just trying to say hello or seriously asking you the question, like to make you think about your answer? Just a thought, but don't know.

Yes. That's how it is..I hear his voice saying that, I'm not in dream state,but usually when i'm releaxed. It comes without thinking about him or anything,it's like an inturuption for lack of better words. Then I try to answer back..I do..I take it as he's just asking what's up??? So I talk to him. but then my mind starts to over think and i can't hear no answer. I swear this happens. I am not sure if it means just what he's saying or something else?? I know that I'm in search about things that's happen since his death beacuase when somethings so real you dont forget. you know..
I'm not delusional. Another time i heard him ask another question,but i'll save that for later.

Oh cool. I like that despite all the different books I've read by different people/psychics that have different views - I can generally find underlying concepts that back up one another.

I agree some souls, like atheists for instance, may not see other spirits because they don't accept in their reality that they would even exist. You see what you want to see.

He is the perfect teacher indeed! Precisely why so many look up to him... he embodied what so many of us strive to be. I'm also trying to put that love into practice too...because of his example. :heart:

The lower parts of the Astral Plane would not necessarily be a fun part to be around- think of creatures that make you shudder. Murderers, Rapists etc- and MJ is nowhere near those people.

I've read about transitioning..and there is different info. it depends on if you stay earthbound.. go to the light..evolve higher..but I read that it is possible even if you have transitioned you can still come back to this side through a vortex or tunnel.

See, I can read Russian too but honestly, it's more the topic, not the language...
Blavatsky without any previous knowledge is tricky.

When I say, he has died, has crossed over= I just mean that. That he is not in the physical anymore. It doesn't mean, he's gone. In my opinion he is a HUGE influence as of right now- how many have gotten onto a spiritual path just because of him, wanting to figure things out, realized that there is more to our existence than just our short life here in the physical? We are far from gone after the physical death. I feel him around very, very often, no doubt in my mind at all!

He is very much "alive", so many people are in contact with, so many! It's remarkable.

The whole transitioning thing seems to be a bit out of context, I am not very familiar with Bonnie Vent's assessment.

He is obviously in contact with many, many people, helping them to get onto a spiritual path- that is HUGE in my book. A person in the lower parts of the Astral Plane would not be able to influence so many people at the same time- he surely has his things to work through and that will always be with him to work through- but he is influencing huge numbers of people, that is quite something!

I totally agree! Michael is and will always be around us. I believe he was a lightworker , a truly special human being. He dedicated his life not only to music , but also to charity. So I'm sure he continues helping people from wherever he's right now.
And I believe that all this odd things we experience , the shaped clouds , the dreams , etc , are his way to say Hey! I'm still here , I haven't gone anywhere!

I know that is hard sometimes , because we always try to found a logical explanation to everything . We need to stop thinking with the brain , and start thinking with heart...

I had such a random weird kind of MJ related dream last night, I was in a supermarket, looking at some books or something, but they were volumes on MJ's life. There was this..how to say..x-rated one about him and Lisa but I didn't read it :lol: I just heard MJ going, don't believe everything you read! Then I saw a balcony, with some like, bluey green lighting, and I think we were waiting for MJ to sing. But the dream was all mixed up cos I kept waking up and going to sleep.
Sigh. Still no definate MJ dream though, where I can feel and see him

Looks like it was a straight warning from Michael “Do not believe everything you read”. It is very true. I wonder if somebody will publish a book about LMP and MJ one day? For sure we will see so many different books about Michael in near future written by different ppl and not all of them will be trustworthy. .

Well, from what I understand, there are many levels of transitioning. Dying you could say is transitioning...I like to call it just a shift in consciousness. Because you haven't really gone anywhere, you have just shifted out of your physical body. I think after death, there are still transitions to be made. Death simply puts us on the spiritual dimension/astral plane, where our soul really always was (which is why we couldn't see it in the physical realm)...our consciousness has simply shifted to only that. As I've come to learn, souls still need to transition out of the astral plane to an even higher dimension/realm. And after sufficiently experiencing/learning what they need to in that realm, they move up once again. There's just a lot we don't know about death and the whole process afterwards. I certainly don't believe that once you die, where you are left is the end all be all though...I think there is much more to learn and progress toward in different states of consciousness and dimensions.

This is what I thought too. I still do not unrsdertand a "physical"/spiritual meaning of this process. It could be just sort of move from one spot to another ? Or probably each soul has just one transitioning out of astral plan and stays on the same level till next reincarnation? Just an idea... .

Actually...I did this the other night for the first time too.
I felt a little silly about it, but I just had to do something.

And it's funny that you say that about your tarot card Amy, because I do this little thing where I grab a book and run my fingers through the pages until I feel it's the right place to stop, and then I look at the first sentence that jumps out at me.

I did this afterwards, like you did with your tarot card. I used this book called Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami. The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes and looked at the page was a little paragraph that was isolated from the rest of the text that said:

"Now, after the fact, I know that her hunch turned out to be correct. One hundred twenty percent on the money."

I'm busy with MLP-related stuff all over the internet :lol: We've got over 1,100 fans on Facebook and folks on Twitter & comments and emails coming in and I'm trying to make sure everyone is updated with questions. Ok, something weird happened to me this morning. I woke up from a dream that I couldn't remember, after only having slept for maybe 2 hours. And when I woke up... omg, you guys... I was CONNECTED ... to someone! I woke up lying on my back and just smiling, it was like I was being held in some way in a state of total peace and love. As I woke up all I could feel was this intense... OMMMMMM... like an inner calm and vast knowing (reminiscent of the way I felt years ago during my one conscious out of body experience, but this time I was definitely IN my body). It was AMAZING. I can't explain it. Like being calm and centered and at peace and ONE with ... someone. I suppose I could explain it like a angelic visit. That's what it felt like. Being wrapped in total... whatever that word is that can't be found because such a state of being doesn't exist on Earth. :angel: And the feeling of CONNECTION was astounding. I mean, I was connected with... someone... ONE with someone. Was it... everyone? "God"/everything? Was it Michael? I had felt Michael before going to bed and asked him if I could visit/dream about him. But I don't remember much about before I woke up. I think it was just a normal dream, though. This feeling (God, it was so VIVID) lasted for a couple of minutes while I lay there awake with my eyes open. Then I fell back to sleep thinking about Michael. :wub:
Well, whatever happened it certainly helped prepare me for MLP today :heart:
