they are divided but not clueless .they all have their own plans .some time i really salute to Michaels patience.

MJ Memorial Tribute UPDATE - Press Conference June 4 - Rome

UPDATE: According to the website of the MJ Memorial Tribute, there will be a press conference this Friday, June 4 12,30 o'clock CET in the multimedia room of the Mondadori Library in Via Del Corso in Rome. Reportedly Tito, Marlon, Brian Oxman and Kathryn Milofsky will be present. Afterwards, 100 free tickets, 200 T-shirts and another 200 caps will be given away. Please note that because of previous false reports from the same organisation of this event, we don't know how reliable this information is. Previously, Tito's management confirmed that Tito is contracted to play at St. Kitts Festival on June 25.

“MJM TRIBUTE – MICHAEL JACKSON’S MEMORIAL TRIBUTE” will be an unprecedented event, a tribute so exclusive and innovative, designed to celebrate a musical legend, exactly one year after his death.

Tickets with discount
There will be a restricted area around the stage for fans. You can purchase your tickets with 15% discount at WorldLive Entertainment via Email worldlive@worldlive.org.uk and make sure you CC your order to info@jackson-source.com. The show
On June 25, those who will be at the Olympic Stadium in Rome will witness a show that remembers, dances and sings Michael Jackson, in an international event that has never been seen before in Italy: 3 hours of thrilling emotion, with three-dimensional scenes that interact with the public, special effects and projections to relive the dream and the legend of world music...

It will begin in the late afternoon, when the DJ console begins to rise, followed by Coccoluto, the Italian singers Alexia and Devjio.
In the pre-show, Kathryn Milofsky and family laywer Brian Oxman will speak about their memories of Michael.
The entire show will be hosted by Marlon Jackson.

The Stars
International stars will pay tribute to the “King of Pop”, by performing his songs, while being accompanied by a big residential band. Performing artists according to WorldLive Entertainment are Akon, Dionne Warwick, Joss Stone, Missy
Elliot, American Divas and many more! Also present at the event will be Travis Payne, Kim Carnes, Lee Johnson, Alfred McCrary and many more!

Legend Music Award
Also in the program for the tribute on June 25, is the allocation of the Legend Music Awards which is an International Prize of Music made in Italy.

Charity
Part of the proceedings, that are to be launched that night, will be donated to the “Foundation San Raffaele” to remember what Michael Jackson did (and continues to do, with many initiatives put forward in life) to help the children.

Why in God's name is Brian oxman being allowed to even say the name Michael Jackson! I don't get this crap, was'nt it just two weeks or so ago that Randy said he had fired him for overstepping his bounds??? So why is Marlon tolerating this foolishness!

And I suppose Marlon will be the only Jackson attached to this? why can't they ALL come together and do a proper tribute to Michael????? That's whats pissing me off about this whole thing! Michael deserves better.

UPDATE:: Tito's management informed Jackson source that, at the moment, the situation is that Tito's performance in St. Kitts has been officially cancelled. Tito is now planning to perform on June 25th at the event in Rome, assuming that all of the contractual terms are met by the promoter. He is also scheduled to arrive in Rome for the Press Conference on Friday, June 4th. As far as the other members planning to attend, Tito's management cannot comment.

I wish the entire family could gather and spend a quiet evening remembering Michael. I understand some of them want to honor him by playing music or hosting shows...but I really wish they could just unite as one for this one day, once a year...at least..

the conference for the Rome "tribute" (...) was to be held today but,guess what? IT'S BEEN CANCELLED AGAIN!!! .. my God,it's just RIDICULOUS... and they're saying it's the Jacksons' fault,but I don't think so. I think they're blaming them not to have to admitthat there's never been anything...and Tito has now been removed as one of the participants

IF this is true, I'm not surprised at all. First of all, who the heck wants to spend their hard earned dollars listening to Brian Oxman talk about Michael Jackson. I mean, REALLY!

Was Marlon really involved in this "thing?" Up to this point did Marlon ever say anything regarding this "thing" or are folks just adding names out of convenience.

Everybody basically knew that Tito already had a prior engagement, so them even using his name was a stupid move.

In my opinion, the entire "thing" was a sham from jumpstreet!

I think that's ridiculous tribute will not happen because of all the mess that is. Sales of tickets should have already begun. It's a big mess. :doh:

Unbelievable, isn't it? I wish the Estate wouldjust stand up and stop all this mess and then do a proper tribute concert with respectable performers.

^^No, he does not deserve it. I am just pis*ed off. First - Jermaine's fiascos with Vienna, then London, then this Gambia thing, now Rome... I really wish they'll forget about it, I don't need their tributes, which are only about gain money.
This is Michael Jackson we're talking about. I am sure, really notable artists, his friends would really perform on such a concert, but there is no single one serious organizer to even talk about it. No single serious organizer of a tribute to the greatest one... :doh:

And about Oxman: I am sure not much of us would go to the event where Oxman is attending, but there are ppl who had no clue about him and considering him as one of the fighter for justice for MJ. And that's just another thing which makes me wanna shout!!

Im glad it got cancelled. That was a dumb idea anyway. I would never attend something like that. I would rather pay tribute to MJ himself, and not watch people he barely knew talk about him and get their 15 mins of fame. Thats what happened last year, everyone and their mother thought MJ was their best friend, but its like who the hell are u? I dont wanna see people butcher his music either, like MSG 30th Anniv. special. HELL NO! haha! I'd rather pay tribute to him, the person, pray for him and hear his voice, watch his videos. Just be with MJ. Like I've been doing this whole year! God bless him! :heart:

This damn TRIBUTE will not be seeing the light of day! MJ deserves more than some hurried foolishness! You've got some family members reported to be at this tribute while on the same day others will be at FL as per Randy?

Where is the UNITY I ask?........Michael so knew his family! he deserves a proper tribute and not some mess from people who have no clue what they are doing!
