LaToya Jackson will be on 'The Celebrity Apprentice'

Latoya is back with the men and Star wasn't happy lol. Latoya went to see Donald at his office and said there was no reason for her to be fired and she wanted another chance and work with the guys. He is only going to do this one time and bring somerone back. I was actually impressed with Latoya. She isn't weak as some of those women thought.
 
Thanks guys for the responses. I will have to watch this episode later. We only have one TV and my bros are watching Ironman on FX.:doh::rofl:

Well, we will have to watch the gripping ending online as programming has been interrupted due to the reported death of Osama Bin Laden (let's here what Trump has to say about THIS lol). Still waiting for a live statement from the prez.
 
My brothers are making jokes saying Obama is waiting until CA goes off before he comes on! :hysterical:

I was pissed off @ Obama for cuttin into my damn show. He didnt even come on until after another 35 min until after it was over. Im for Obama... but he know damn well he coulda waited until CA was over. He knew WTF he was doing. Its REVENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

It'll be up on youtube soon of course, but for now, you can see it on the NBC site. You should click at the 69 minute point, a couple of set points from the right. Of course, there's no way to get around their commercials even at that point, but if you just go to the video where he says who's fired, you'll miss some good parts.

^Ah thank you. Sadly it's not viewable from my location. I guess you have to be in the US to be able to watch it. I read Hope was fired though. that was about time. She was the blandest apprentice ever.

Yeah, she was fired. Before it happened, Hope said she didn't like how Nene acts and told Trump about Nene going off on Latoya, calling her casper, and saying she was famous because of her brother. Trump pointed out...but LaToya said she loved Nene, which Hope admitted she was basically mystified about which I am totally mystified about as well. Even though LaToya and Nene "talked". I still don't see how she overlooks Nene, and steadfastly holds on to her grudge against Star.

We also got a little of what provoked Nene's explosion on Star at the beginning of the show. She said before they met with Trump to learn the task, Star said Nene should be the project manager, and Nene apparently caught Hope and Star exchanging a furtive glance. Nene took it to mean they were pairing up to do her in.

I think I understand why LaToya is sticking up for Nene and it shows true character on her part. She understands that Nene acts out of emotion and is a very sensitive person. LaToya, although she holds herself much better and is overall nicer and more humble, can relate to this. She is sensitive as well. While Star on the other hand seems without feeling and just cunning. LaToya picks up on that, just like Nene, although with Nene it's more a bruised ego issue I'm afraid. I'm really rooting for LaToya now. I wonder how she holds up on the men's team. Less drama for sure. I hope she can contribute significantly - she has to after this exception was made for her. I enjoy this show so much it's crazy. I normally don't even like reality tv, but the combination of business, big ego's and lots of crazyness is just very interesing to watch.
 
^^^Great perspective on LaToya/Nene relationship. Never thought of it that way. But you are so right. Nene is very sensitive. After Trump sent the three of them out of the conference room to discuss them with Ivanka and his son, Nene got out in the lobby, said something to Star, and when Hope tried to speak to her, Nene told Hope, "don't you say a word to me"...
and turned her back to both of them.

Now, Nene had just come out of the conference room and called Hope a puppet and ragged on her all over the place. Hope's comments in comparison were tame, but Nene was highly indignant that Hope said anything about her.

Nene is a real character...which as you said DOES keep the show interesting to watch, and really is why Nene is still on the show, and Hope isn't.

LOL it worked out great. This makes the second time Obama interrupted Trump live on the air. Only this time it was for a good reason and not to waste valuable time proving to troublemakers like Trump where he was born.
 
Star and Hope brought up to Trump what Nene said and did to Latoya and they were hypocrites. They never told Nene to stop it and not be that way towards Latoya. Yet when in front of Trump they acted how bad that was. It was bad but they did nothing. Hope doesn't need to be loud and outspoken but she acts like she doesn't want to be there. It seems boring to her. She acts like she some big model yet I have never heard of her. I have heard of Nikki Taylor and I am glad she helped out the men. I wonder how Latoya will be with the guys and she wasn't afraid to speak up against Star at all.
 
IMO, Hope got what she deserved. I didn't like how she joined in with the 'target LaToya' lynch mob....talking about how someone's going to end up hitting LaToya over her 'baby voice' and saying LaToya was a weak player which is alot of nerve since until Hope became project manager no one heard "boo" from her.

My prediction about Hope came true...when LaToya got fired, Hope was going to be the next target. For weeks she has benefited from LaToya being the focus of the BIG BAD 3.

I'm glad LaToya is back and I LOVED the look on the women's faces when she switched to her seat on the men's team!
 
This was such a good episode; lots of laughs & what a night for the ending to be missing in the States. I'm glad Hope is gone & La Toya is back but this time with the men. I hope she won't be fired next week. At the end they said 3 people will be fired! Looking forward to next week.
 
The way how Nene started the project, I knew that she wasn't concentrating on wining, more like she wanted to lose, so she can grill Star on boardroom. It was obvious, and painful to watch how unrealistic Nene is. I mean this is for charity, for crying out loud.
First of all, Star was the one who wanted Nene and Latoya to work out their differences, in the past episode. Even though, I don't understand why Star wanted Nene and Latoya to be friends. It was much easier for Star, to let Nene continue dislike, and hurt verbally Latoya, it would have been clean sweep. But she didn't, she stopped it. Was it because of the task, I don't know. Nene suffers from short term memory; when comes to her past actions, she doesn't own it (she was abusive to Latoya in several occasions, and she didn't show remorse).

Overall, this is a game show, but still, Star is not that bad. Nene is good for TV ratings, but in reality, I doubt anyone would have wanted her on their team. Too loud, and definitively, not objective, she is way too selective.
As far as Latoya, I think people do forget, that they (Trump + Latoya) have long history. Besides, there are a lot of positive comments, and rooting for Latoya on the nbc website, I guess, that helped too for bringing her back.
Ratings do rule in TV world, so here we go. I think Nene is going to be on men's team, I don't know is Donald rotating women's member to backbone team...To spice the show, maybe?

I am not surprised that Hope was fired, more that she stayed this long on the game. Marlee, is the one, who I think will be on final, she seems to be more calculated that anyone on the team (men or women).

I love lil John. I wish my boss was like him. He is my fav player :in_love:

I was surprised that my mom called my over the phone about LaToya coming back on the show late the other night. I didn't watch the show but my mom continued to. As for Nene, my mom told that she regreted having to let LaToya go, she admits making a big mistake, so I decided to remove her from my hate list. I'm watching the episode on YouTube right now.

Great post. Nene is the car wreck you feel compelled to watch. She defnitely "wins" for helping bring in ratings, but she's a bust as a reasonable human being. She's an overly sensitive bully, who doesn't own her ish, but can berate and demean everyone on theirs, and then acts superior and wronged. Her 15 minutes of fame is going to run out if she doesn't get more of a reign on her behavior. Cursing Star out is one thing, but to do it in front of Trump and Foruk(sp?) was just dumb.
