Sad, but predictable end for LaToya. As NY & others said she was able to leave w/her head held high. I'll keep watching. I think I'd like one of the men to win like John Rich or maybe Lil John. I don't think the women have earned it.

No that would have been a dumb move. Nene has contributed a lot more to the game than Latoya or Hope. First, you get rid of the weakest links...then you go for the strongest...Right now, Marlee & Star are the best players. They are being strategic...

LOL - I think the preview for next week's show confirms that Star made a really dumb move by pulling NeNe into the boardroom, but getting La Toya fired! Star is going to pay for using NeNe as her puppet.

I don't think the strategy should be as simple as "take out the weakest links first, then take out the stronger links." First, that could easily backfire in your face when one of the stronger players sets their sites on you. When an opportunity to take out a really strong player comes, you should take it. You might not get another one.

Second, while the "weakest" players (La Toya and Hope) might not be great project managers, that doesn't make them horrible team players. La Toya is a great example. She's certainly not the strongest project manager on the team, but she is a really, really good team member. She rarely caused drama within the team during the tasks. She seemed quick to forgive and forget for the sake of completing the task. She always did her part of the task very well, and she received multiple compliments from the executives. I know that her team thought that was because of her "star power," but why does it matter if they were impressed by "star power" or her abilities"? They were impressed - that's what's important.

I think that Star made a horrible mistake in getting La Toya fired. La Toya would have been a loyal teammate until the end. And then, when the team is down to a few players, she would have been relatively easy to take out. However, NeNe is just going to cause trouble as long as she's there. Good luck, Star! LOL!

Now, if we were talking about a player that is so weak that they're actually dragging the team down (like Gary Busey), then yes, I agree that they need to be taken out early. Maybe you think that La Toya was dragging her team down. I don't think she was - I just think that her team refused to acknowledge her strengths and capitalize on them.

capitalist system.
 
I was glad to see LaToya defend herself in the board room, bringing up the point that all the projects they lost were driven by Star's ideas. I hated how Trump ignored all that. The more I think about it the angrier I get. Star should have been fired. It was her ideas that those executives hated and as project manager it was because of her that they lost. There's just no good reason LaToya should have been fired. Oh well it's done. Now I'm looking forward to Nene and Star going at it next week, hehe. I hope Nene wins. I can't stand her but I would just hate to see the over confident Star take it all and then have to watch her brag about it on all the talk shows, lol.

On Marlee's twitter or something, she has a list of some people that are known Jackson haters, like Michael haters, she is friends with people from the Oprah show, etc. I don't know what it was with Latoya.
 
Did anyone else find it amusing when LaToya totally flipped the situation on Nene & told her she loved her & wanted to give her a hug :lol: . I just had to laugh. How many people would have been the bigger person like that? She reminded me of Michael. I think Hope actually agreed with something that LaToya said about Nene. Don't remember what it was. It was annoying though that Nene couldn't see that Star paired her up w/LaToya b/c she thinks they are the weakest players. Nene definitely made a mistake.

It would have been hard for Trump to not fire LaToya since no one would stick up for her and they all knew that all along. Also, it was interesting that they edited out Nene laughing at LaToya's impression of her. My brother got the impression that it was LaToya's fault that she was getting bullied by Nene.

Me too, I'm done with this show, I'm pissed off at Nene and Star both. I knew should've trusted Nene after she just reconciled with LaToya and Star tainted it, Star should've been fired and she thinks she runs the show well she's not. For that Star is officially on my hate list. If Nene indeed confessed that she made a mistake about having LaToya fired instead of Star I may take her out of my list, but still I can't trust her at all. LaToya's right that Donald Trump made a big mistake of firing her. When he uttered those words "LaToya, you fired." I was like "THAT'S IT! THAT'S IT! I'm done with this show. I'm done. Done. Done, done, done!" I kept saying done repeatedly. You know I don't care who wins. I'm done.
 
Nene better give Star hell on this upcoming show because Star really did make Nene look like the biggest wimp on this past week's show.

Latoya was just on to see Donald. She wants a second chance because she feels she should not have been fired. She wants to be with the men's team. Donald said he would think about and let her know.
 
Well, I cannot believe LaToya's chutzpah. She came back and asked Trump for a second chance. Can't wait for this commercial break to end to see if he says yes (I'm sure he will).
 
I think it would be great if she was with the guys and the look on the women's faces lol when they see that. I find the way Latoya dresses reminds me of Michael. Certain things she wears.
 
Ya latoya's tight black pants reminds me of michael's Bad era; she even has the belts, rhinestones, buckles, snaps....lol
