LaToya Jackson will be on 'The Celebrity Apprentice'

^^^I'm by no means a Star fan, but Nene was the one who got personal and just nasty. When Nene was ranting at Star the previous week and Star tried to calm her down to talk to her then, Nene wasn't interested. In fact she walked away from Star, and called her a punk ass bitch into the camera. I don't feel bad for her at all, and am trying to figure out what planet she's on, where she thinks she can say anything to and about people, and it's all good, but the instant, they say anything about her, a major crime has been committed. The woman has MAJOR issues.
 
I think it boils down to Nene not believing in herself; the tension between her and Star was just an excuse to quit as she felt she would lose anyway. That's what I think, anyway, whereas LaToya believes in herself and so she asked for another chance. She did not give up.
 
I think Nene made a mistake on leaving. Who cares about Star. She had an opportunity with a new team. They could have won having an extra person on their team against the other 3. Nene does have issues. She takes things very personally and Latoya was actually a stronger player if you look at it.
 
Remember LaToya will be back since usually fired apprentices are brought back to help the final 2 with their tasks in the season finale. Now that will be interesting. I have always enjoyed the Apprentice season finale episodes. They are fast moving and often nail biters (sort of). And then usually there is the live portion of the finale with the cast members speaking and The Donald declaring to the winner of Celebrity Apprentice, "Yeh Hired" LOL. Some years they have had these with live studio audiences so I wonder if that will be the case this time. I wouldn't mind getting a ticket!
 
I think any of the 4 have a legit argument as to why they should make it to the finale, but i'll be shocked if it isn't John Rich vs. Marlee Matlin.

That shocked me too. Im like your shoes and purses cost more than that, but everyone isnt charitable. Even John Rich as lke WTF!!!!?????

I agree with both of you. Nene wants to always act like the victim. I would see where she is coming from if she was just protrayed that way on RHOA but she is protrayed that way no matter where she goes. She needs to look at the man in the mirror and do some self-evaluation. If everywhere you go there is a problem its most likely not the people around you.. ITS YOU!!!!!
N she lost lots of credibility when she walked off the show. I cant wait till one on the women on RHOA use it against her lol

Latoya's exit! The Billie Jean music playing, she struck a pose at the end. She looked just like him for a second. The world misses Michael. Like someone said in another thread, he was the end of the excitement in entertainment.
 
Question: when they are fundraising, are the contestants allowed to ask people they contact to give them contacts or ask them to let others know about the fundraising & then get in touch with the contestant? i.e.could LaToya have got contacts from her family & friends or was she only allowed to use her own contacts?

Im not sure... but I think she could of passed the word along. She had donors but no one donated. She was getting measley $1000 donations.
 
OK, so did anyone else watch the show?

I can't believe what Lil' John did, LOL. I don't think he can either. What was he thinking? Poor LaToya wasn't chosen by anyone for their team. That couldn't have felt good but she had a chance to impress JR, but didn't manage it & that's why. Also, probably didn't feel good being over looked as a part of the 70's ... It was interesting to see that man dress as Twisted Sister again. He really hadn't changed much after all. Great show. I think JR has the better idea so far; will have to see how things go. Also, I don't see how that glitterball can idea thing is supposed to work ...
 
Yeah I was surprised they didn't use her for the 70's theme. Maybe they did and she declined? But she did made a good superhero, I can't get over how tiny her waist is!!! Are Meatloaf and La Toya friends before this, because from what I've seen he has probably been the nicest person to her on the show.
I don't see how Marlee's slogan "feel the love" fits in with the commercial.

J.R's overall theme is much better. Did anyone laugh when he was talking about how Star would date him if he weren't married and the painting fell in the background! How funny was that?!
 
I watched the show on Sunday. It was pretty good. I'm guessing John Rich will win. I'm looking forward to the season finale next weekend when everyone is reunited live (I'm assuming it will be live) and they all pretend to love each other, lol.
 
Did anyone see Star's face when Marlee didn't pick her? lol. They were teammates and got along for the most part and didn't pick her. Maybe Meatloaf knew her and Michael? I was asking my sister if Meatloaf ever knew or met Michael? I think they would have liked each other I hope. I think Joh Rich is stronger than Marlee. I really wanted it to be John Rich vs Lil John but he made that big mistake in those interviews not even picking himself in the final two.

LOL, I forgot to mention something that amused me. It may be more likely to amuse British people or people who have lived in England. When Piers made the negative comment about JR's hat being on his head all the time, that was so funny. He just could not resist expressing his dislike of it. Even my brother who is living in NY told me that he would like JR to win but only if he will take off the hat so he can see what he looks like :lol: Other than that he thinks Marlee will probably win.

That was kind of funny (though a little rude of Piers). But that's what has always bothered me about male country music performers...those western hats they all need to wear and never seem to remove.
 
So who saw the big season finale? It was good. Lots more live stuff than I expected. I love live television. How cute was it when LaToya laughed her cute laugh after Nene and Star started at each other's throats again. The audience laughed. It was my favorite moment of the night.

I started to root for Marlee, realizing I am qualified as hard of hearing (deaf in one ear) so I should support her. But John Rich took it. Donald Trump doesn't care about deaf people, lol (that's me making trouble).
 
Yes, I watched the finale & really enjoyed it. I liked seeing the executives' reactions to the commercials as well as seeing them in full. Very inspiring show. Hopefully all the money raised over the season will do a lot of good for the children. How was the ratings for the finale? Did it reach the top 3?

I was rooting for John so I'm glad he won. There's something about Marlee to me that just seems really cold. I don't know what it is but it's really off-putting
 
I think John Rich(Even Though that was a cue for Trump to pick him because of his lastname) was the best choice but I was hoping that Latoya would had won ,Oh well. I would like to see oneday that a Minority would get a chance to win Celebrity Apprentice because I haven't seen anyone of the minority win on his show.
 
There was no denying John Rich did good, so i'm ok with him winning.

It was down from last year's finale. And no it wasn't in the top 3. I ranks around the late 30's or 40's range.

The season finale of Celebrity Apprentice was up 16% from last week to a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating, but that was down 15% vs. last spring to its lowest spring Apprentice finale ever. It averaged around 8 million viewers during it's 2 hours.

Thanks for this response. I did a little googling last night & they said it was 2.9. I'm thinking that's probably meaning 2.9 million, & I think they said it's the lowest rating Celebrity Apprentice has had.
