It matters if you have to inject propofol hourly or half-hourly. It matters if you fell asleep if you have given intentionally more than the normal dose and then fall asleep. I am saying that the dr gave him a dose for 2-3 hours and didnt monitor that. So stupid.

People are saying that it was dripped, but as far as I know it was injected. Both are called iv (= intravenously) but its risky if you have to inject PLUS monitor when you could have just monitored during dripping...

Oh... both are IV. Okay, got it now. I was sure it was drip. Now I am not sure what I read because I would have seen IV and automatically assumed drip.

well you can disagree with me all you want, but i'm just stating what i have been observing from day one. I am not some blind fan who thinks michael could do no wrong, but i am a very logical person and all the media reports coming out are not adding up. It's like 2+2=5 and
nothing is adding up. So i guess i'm in disagreement with you.



Now i can fault the media. Based solely on their track record in regards to michael, yes i can. They have tried to label him everything under the bleedin' sun and this whole "mj was a drug addict" story has been one of them circulating for years. The media spins things to fit into the stories they want to put out. They did this in the 1990s, they did it during the 'invincible' era, they did it during the trial, and they're doing it now. There are very few true journalists out there who are looking for the truth, most of the media in regards to michael jackson only give a shit about one thing and that's ratings which equates to money. Bottom line. So are the media to be faulted? You bet your ass they are. It's all about spin and that's exactly what they've been doing from day one, spinning all this hearsay and bs to fit into what they want to report. You can agree or disagree with me i don't care, but to say the media is not at fault or not to be faulted is just stupid.

There are not two sides to every story there is only the truth! And the truth is something the media, especially in regards to michael, usually tends to ignore or they try and twist it for their own selfish reasons.

Anyway, i've stated my opinion and if you agree or disagree doesn't matter, and i frankly don't care. I've said it and i'm done, and this is the last time i'll speak/type on this matter here.

People.....michael joseph jackson was not a drug addict. The only thing michael is guilty of is wanting to sleep and using his influence to get what he thought he needed.

Anybody who is so ready to accept what the media is saying that michael was a drug addict should really question themselves about how well they know the person michael jackson to be.

Michael was so responsible when it comes to his children, he cared about everything his fans thought, he cared deeply about his physical health and vitality, he wanted to live forever.....

But somehow cast that all aside, all of a sudden he's a stark raving doped up junkie??

Open your eyes people....michael is being made out to be what he is not.

They say what they say, and they can find whatever, it still doesnt mean it was dripped. Its always possible the dr staged something. As far as I know he gave injections. The iv stand was somehow broken and they didnt get a new one...

Its complicated. Giving injections is partly safer if you handle it because you "dont have to monitor that much" if you give surely how much it should be. But if you give more than normally, it can very well go pretty bad with someone as thin as Michael.

really??? I as you have been watching every bit of info on this case and have never heard that Michael still had the IV still in his arm. I did hear that someone as in Latoya seen an IV Pole in Michael's room but never iv in Michaels arm. Has anyone else heard this? Maybe I missed a very important piece of info.

Hi, I've only 'skim read' this thread as it's so long, so apologies if this has already been discussed.

I think lidocaine is used sometimes in conjunction with diprivan because diprivan can cause a burning pain in the vein where the IV is situated. Lidocaine is used to numb this pain.

It's most common for diprivan to be administered by an IV infusion opposed to numerous 'bolus' injections. If an EMPTY IV bag was found then this was probably the infusion bag. What worries me is that if an infusion had been set up, perhaps the device which controls the rate of diprivan delivery into the blood stream had somehow failed, and more diprivan entered the body than Murray had intended. :-(

This was in the first TMZ article today:

We've told you since July 15 police believe Dr. Conrad Murray administered Propofol to Michael Jackson -- the drug that killed him. There's a reason police believe it. Dr. Murray told them.

Two days after Jackson's death, Dr. Murray told LAPD detectives he administered Propofol to the singer hours before he died ... this, according to multiple law enforcement sources.

We're told Dr. Murray gave Jackson an IV drip of the powerful anesthesia. Police believe Dr. Murray simply wasn't paying attention when the singer's heart stopped beating.

So here they say it was a drip or at least that is what the Dr. said it was. And Missy posted that a number of articles said he still had the IV in his arm but the bag on the stand was empty. I don't know which articles those were.

There's a poll by the Sun today, they say 6 in 10 Britons believe MJ was murdered.

I just saw that, its interesting.... if its true. Where did they do the survey... But say it was true it means more and more are wondering about all this which is good as more pressure for the truth to come out possibly...

On AC360, Dr. Sanjay Gupta is in the OR showing how Dirprivan works, and it shows how the guy that got the meds actually stops breathing and he is given O2 to help him breathe.. I hope someone is able 2 post tonight's show for all the ppl that can't see it..

I'm watching. I can't believe this man was not breathing when EMT arrived. They are saying Murray was in control and wanted them to keep MJ at the house. They gave him drugs to revive him but would not say what those drugs were. One wonders if Murray even told them that he had used Diprovan or whatever the hell he used on MJ. I can't believe I am watching this right now.. this is completely surreal for me. Now they are talking about Katherine Jackson and her battles with the executors of the will. This poor poor family. I feel so much for Mrs. Jackson I can't even imagine what she must be going through with now. My heart hurts for her...
