Jermaine Writing Book On Life With MJ *Book To Be Released Sept 13*

There is a YouTube clip in this forum about Jermaine's ex living for free for 21 years. And to me it was quite clear that the papparazi who were "interviewing" Jermaine were mocking him. Pretending to agree with him and support him, but in a derisive kind of way. I could almost here them giggling behind their hands.

So I am not surprised that TMZ are poking fun at him.

So we've established this big lie, you gotta ask yourself is there any truth at all in this book?

I keep saying this and I'll say it again, none of this would be happening if Michael were alive. They are taking full advantage of the fact that MJ is not around to refute anything, so they can go around saying anything they please!

Autumn are we going to do something about this book of made up quotes? I am hoping he is sued by Ortega and Breaden. The next time I am going to be laughing is when that family loses the case against AEG. It seems in their books, both Latoya and Jermaine made sure they painted a picture of a sick man who was forced to rehearse by AEG, in order to make AEG partially liable so they could win that case. I want them to lose!!!

Karen is a person who is everywhere and on both sides of the coin. She reminds me so much like Jermaine, wanting the spotlight and claiming to be everyone's confidant to show how important she is and how close she was to Michael. She might be even involved in a case based on Jermaine's stories.

As of right now, I'd say that the multi-fan-club response about KISS and the tribute concert was extraordinarily effective, and made it to mainstream news. Ticket sales are now in the commode. I'm hoping that something similar can happen with this book, too. I'm also hoping that Bearden sues his ass! The timing of publication could not possibly have been worse, with the trial coming up, but yet the potential jury not having any directives NOT to watch/read anything to do with Michael.

Michael was INCREDIBLY courageous during the trial, and we loved him even MORE, because of his extraordinary character. And NOW? JERM tell us there was a "plan in place." The fact that Michael knew nothing about it, will be ignored by the press. I have no idea, at this point, what Jerm's motivation was, but the outcome is NOT good. It's either extreme, almost unfathomable stupidity on Jerm's part, or. . . I really don't know.
 
I would like to clarify something when I called Jermaine harmless. I said that because Jermaine has largely defended Michael, the estate, and yes even AEG. I said it would be stupid for him to turn around and try to tie anything he says to the AEG lawsuit because it went against everything he said. Even as far back as 6/25/10, he said Michael was healthy, ready, and happy during his last days. He never once said Michael was ill and underweight. He supported TII and said it showed Michael doing what he did best and he wasn't even 100 percent.

Now, he chose to do this complete 180 on his own record. Because he did this, he come across as much worst than Toya. Toya at least stood constant with her beliefs, facts be damn. The only thing she changed her record on was Michael being a drug addict. Jermaine for the sake of drama, money, and self-importance changed his story to fit more with what the family wants to believe. This is stupid since he quote the autopsy as truth, so he can't just pick and chose what parts he liked.

However, I am not too surprise that Jermaine changed his mind. Going through Jermaine's history of flip flops he solely blamed Murray for Michael's death when they were plugging their reality show on LKL. He said Murray had allot of questions to answer and said that Murray killed Michael. He also showed frustration that Murray wasn't arrested yet and thought manslaughter was too light of a charge. Then, he changed his mind and say Murray was the fall guy and there were others. He then defended Murray by being in race and didn't even bother to show up for the hearing. Now he thinks it's okay to plug a book during the jury selection.

Now, Jermaine chose to changed his mind about Michael's health and claim Michael was ill during his last days. Which begs the question, why didn't Michael appear ill during the 23 and 24th of June. How can anyone explain how Michael was so sick he could barely move to being at his best two days before he died? The only explanation for this was Michael just had a couple of off days, just like everyone else, and it wasn't all that serious. The fact that Jermaine said certain things like he was at the rehearsals shows he is an idiot. Especially since he claimed that Michael was ready and healthy when he saw TII, edited or not since Murray's team try to find footage of Michael being carried up the stairs and crying. At least Toya had the excuse of not seeing TII.

With all this said, I still see Jermaine as harmless. He has less creditability than Toya now because he flipped flop on his own statements and try to pass other sources information like he was there himself. He also decide to tell the debunk story of the video tapes and give Murray even more leeway than Toya. Because Toya does believes Murray killed Michael on the order of others while Jermaine believes that Murray was just there and someone else did it. So, Jermaine is a harmless and he just showed the world that he' even more clueless than his crazy sister.

I'm very skeptical that Jermaine did any actual writing. It's pretty hard to imagine him using the word "fraught", and someone who has lived in the Los Angeles basin for decades wouldn't displace Pasadena from the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains to the foot of the San Bernardinos. What's really odd is the choice to write matter-of-factly about TII as if he had been there, rather than making it clear he is using other people's observations. He is essentially taking responsibility for the veracity of their claims, which all things considered could land him in hot water. Well, I guess it already has with Bearden.

Prologue

The 2005 trial hospital story excerpt in more detail. While Michael talking about the testimony to Jermaine, Joe want to start discussing a concert China. Jermaine says that Joe isn't into emotional stuff and want to divert the subject.
Vitiligo - Jermaine explains he first realizes it then because Michael was self conscious and kept his body hidden even from his family.

Chapter 1 - Eternal Child

Michael is 4 Jermaine 8, they are watching snow, christmas time but they are not celebrating it due to being JW but not really understanding why. Michael starts to sing "Jingle Bells" softly so that Katherine won't hear. First time Jermaine hearing Michael sing. They sing christmas songs, Michael is happy. Jermaine says Michael loved Christmas.

Michael loved train sets - had a secondhand one from Salvation Army. Played train game with shopping carts with his brothers pushing him on the street. They all built and raced go-carts, loved speed.

Love of Candy. Michael hid his candy well no one was able to find it. Playing candy store. Joe hitting him when he said he wanted to sell his candy for 5 cents when he paid 5 cents. Michael later giving away his candy for free to less fortunate children.

Years later Neverland : with all the lights it looks like christmas, train running, inside the house huge train set on a table, go cart track, a candy store, etc. So it's not only what he didn't have a child but what he loved as a child as well.

Chapter 2 - 2300 Jackson Street

Grandfathers had beautiful voices, so does Katherine. She sings while doing housework, kids join in to "cotton fields". Michael was born hyper, full of energy and curiosity. While Jermaine was 5 he was changing Michael's diaper but he wasn't making it easy on Jermaine by wriggling, kicking, turning.

Germs, Katherine wanted them to be pristine clean. Jermaine, Latoya, Janet and Michael had a neurotic fear of germs.
Michael wearing masks - Jermaine says original reason its because Michael was afraid of airborne germs and getting sick. Says MJ was also worried about other people's pens , fans coming close. Later masks became a way to hide.

Jermaine says Latoya ratted everyone out. Detailed description of Katherine and her love towards them and their love towards her.How Katherine and Joe met and got married. Joe, his work conditions, how he brought money home. Last time Joe cried was when he was 11 and lost his sister to illness. Joe gets hardened, never attends funerals -until 2009.

"None of us can remember him holding or cuddling us, or telling us, “I love you.” He never play-wrestled with us, or tucked us into bed at night; there were no heart-to-heart father-son discussions about life. We remember the respect, the instructions, the chores and the commands, but no affection. We knew our father as he was; someone who wanted to be looked up to, and to provide for his family—a man’s man"

Joe - Falcons- dreams of making it. Joe disciplining them - same from the Times excerpt

White mouse in the house, Joe trying to catch it not understanding where it came. Michael treating it like a pet and feeding it 3 years old. Joseph finds out, tells Michael to go and wait in his room for beating. Michael bolts. Joseph catch him and spanks him. 18 months throwing baby bottle, 4 years old throwing a shoe. Getting spanked badly. "Michael didn't help himself because he was most defiant".

Joe's guitar, Tito. Breaking the string. Joe telling Tito to play, others sing. joe buys Tito a guitar. focuses his attention on the trio Jackie, Tito and Jermaine.

Chapter 3 - God's gift

Joe practicing the trio. Michael making himself bongo's from Quaker Oats tubs, he's not in the band because he's too little but still wanting to join them on his bongos. Trio practicing hard. Michael and his bongos seated on floor. Joe bring Michael a secondhand real bongos. Early practice days Joe patient and forgiving.

katherine's mother comes, Joe gets the boys play and sing to her. Michael stands up and starts singing only 5 years old. Joe, Katherine and Katherine's mother like it a lot. Katherine says it's the voice from "heaven". First performance of Michael is in elementary school when he does a solo in his first year. so Michael gets added to to the group and so is Marlon because Katherine didn't want Marlon be the odd one out.

Michael and number 7. Middle name is Joe.

1962 to 1965 practicing. Michael learning to imitate adults, watching his idols - James Brown and Fred Astaire. Tito and Jermaine can't read sheet music. Growing up in Gary. Boxing. Carrying bricks.

Wait so I was right? That Jermaine only notices that MJ truly did have it at the hospital, when Mj hurt his back? o_O Then I how dare he write a song like "Word to the Badd" then? How can he do such a thing? Damning MJ... yet, he believed rumors about his own brother! I hope he explains more about wtf he was thinking further into the book?! Unreal....since it runs in the family and MJ had it since he was young! To me Jermaine is making excuses, to try to get away with that shit song! But, being ignorant isn't a good excuse! But, for him I guess it would be better then admitting he is a liar! SMDH

I'll make it perfectly clear just in case Murray really won't be convicted. If Murray walks away I'll blame the Jackson's and the Jackson's only. And if it really happens which I hope and pray won't, but if it happens if some think I'm hard on the Jackson's now, then just wait and watch.

Just a point of clarification, please. Did Jermaine the first time he knew about the Vitiligo was in 2005 or the first time he realised the extent of it?
 
Wait, anybody else just watch the GMA interview with Jermaine? Am I wrong in saying that it was not made clear that Michael knew nothing of this plan? because from the beginning of the show and right before the commercial breaks, all I heard was 'Michael's plan to escape....'

BTW....Jermaine said he only saw Michael at least three times a year between 1984 and 1992, sent letters, packages, never got a response, imagine that......blamed it on Michael not carrying a cell phone, other people teling him that his family was only gonna hold him back. Once again Michael the puppet is being presented to the world. Did none of them actually think that it might just be that their own actions caused Michael to keep his distance? They love to hype the closeness of their relationship to Michael but in actuality they were'nt at all!

Well Jermaine was on UK's This Morning show and I knew immediately that he would be promoting his book. I was right. To his credit, he did speak of his brother in a mostly positive way, but fumbled his way through the escape plan question. He's just not that great at communicating, so whatever he says or does just doesn't come out right or make much sense! I don't understand why he said Michael ripped open his shirt to reveal the vitiligo in the hospital. Surely his own brother would have seen it before 2005?

I really don't want to think ill of the family, but its so damn hard, when they keep on doing this time and again. It looked like a cash in.
 
^^^ See - this is what I am trying desperately to understand. Is Jermaine saying that when the discussion/confrontation about Word To the Badd occurred Michael did not say anything about having the disease? Cause if that is the case that says alot about their "relationship".

Furthermore, everybody and their grandmother saw that Oprah interview where Michael said he had a disease. So we have to presume either (a) Jermaine did not see the interview and had no idea about the disease or (b) Jermaine did not believe his brother. Which again says alot about their "relationship".
 
After reading margret's book, jermaine's ex, she clarified very well the relationship between he and mike and I believe her over jermaine.Thanks ivy!!

I just read the interview from this morning and Jermaine has the nerve to BRAG, that he wasn't worried about the authorities, because they "wouldn't be able to catch him," if he had helped Michael escape to Bahrain.

Now why would ANYBODY want to say something like that on national television. LOL! He's a straight-up fool, in my opinion.
 
Omg did he really just say that?? Does jermaine even know what that sounds like and the repercussions of that procedure if it was put forth??? Not only does it make mike look bad and would make matters worse but also it looks bad for the family. Not smart jermaine.. I think mike was the brightest one out of the whole, cause look at the naive choices they make, their actions and words, not so wise, but I guess that would be mike's fault and with Latoya claiming that Michael was not smart business wise at all would be convenient for her since mike cannot defend himself, this family got alot of nerve and no shame.

Chapter 4 – Just Kids with a Dream
First J5 performance on Michael’s 7th birthday at children fashion event at shopping center. Later played at high school talent show. They win.
Their love for baseball. Especially Jackie. Jermaine hurts himself playing, Joe bans them baseball.
Contests performances go on. Generally win, once came second. Joe didn't let them pick up the second price prize - color TV- saying that winning is being number one. 1966- 1968 non stop performances, costumes, their equipment being stolen, "whatever happens show must go on", strippers at places they perform. Michael see them degrading themselves to tease men., sex objects, closing his eyes when one stripper threw her panties to men.

Whippings if they make mistakes, Marlon getting it worse. Joe trying to throw Marlon out of group, Katherine putting her foot down to keep him. Michael starting to self-doubt if he was good enough, refusing to do what Joe told him to, become stubborn, getting beaten by switch, hiding under beds, "I'll never sing again if you hit me again", brothers talk Michael down with offering him candy. Michael & Marlon calling Joe "buckethead" behind his back. also called him "the hawk".

Jermaine says he understands the beatings - keep them out of gangs , keep them away from the streets. Experienced a gang shoot out at the corner of their house - inspiration for "Beat it". Beatings were way of the world back then. Joe is not a monster, and when Jermaine says it people think he's accused of being an apologist and smypthizer. Performing to Motown artists and Gordy's house. First time meeting Diana. She didn't discover them. Motown training, recording. Rebbie gets married. Randy 6 years old wants to join. Joe gives him bongos and says he will tell him when he's ready to join. Move to California. Says they spent time with Diana but didn't live with her -says it a marketing myth. Diana teaches them to paint. Jermaine falls in love with Hazel. A lot of good words for Diana, perfect mentor, wisdom,class. Unique bond between Michael and Diana. Diana like a surrogate mother. Gordy becomes like a father. Spending time with them - something Joe didn't do. Again training, recording, marketing lies/myths, image building, Michael laughs says it made them sound like the seven dwarfs. Suzanne nickname for Michael "“Casper Milquetoast”. Recording. First TV apperance. Diana presents Jackson 5. Joe not happy because Diana announced Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. Sammy Davis Jr, nicknaming Micheal "little midget".Ed Sullivan show. Katherine and younger kids come to California. Michael's pet rats. Jermaine's boa constrictor gift from Hazel. Feeding it Michael's rats. Another house. Studio, school. Number 1 singles.

I'm in chapter 6 now and it's still year 1969 - 1970. It would take me some time to get to late years.

I said when they were doing the reality show that Jermaine acts the way people assumed Michael would/should act like. Namely: spoil, an aura of self-important, arrogant, and divorce from reality.

On the bright side, thanks to the family's antics over the last couple of years people are now seeing Michael as the normal one in that family.
