He does have a few fans left but I don't think it's enough to have a profitable career in the future. I mean, didn't they have to give away tickets to his first big performance in years, a few months ago? That's not a good sign.

He can have a profitable career in the future.. Jermaine just as to swallow his pride and start from scratch. He needs to do an album and have some good singles to create a buzz, then he is gonna have to do smaller venues. In the US there is a circuit for "oldies r&b" performers. If he creates a good buzz and it spreads word of mouth that it is a good show.., people will become interested again but it won't be at the magnitude it was before. Janet is pretty much doing that now in terms of touring.

Just read tweets from folks WITHIN the industry when Jermaine is making one of his MJ-related appearances. You will get a feel of what the industry think of him.

I remember the dog bite story. We were all furious about it because it just reinforced that when it comes to Michael all alot of people see is $$$$$. Sorry to be OT.

It's probably no name people in the industry. Most industry people don't speak out against other industry people when they do something they don't like... You never know who you may have to work with one day ad it's looked down upon.

Jermaine Jackson does not fit that bill. No offense, just keeping it real.

And what happened to Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis? I thought they were going to put the brothers back on top, by providing Jermaine with that "Number One Hit" he is so craving.

LOL! Exactly like anyone with a sound state of mind is going to work with a Z list Jackson. These people haven't been able to get a foot of the ground for nearly three decades.

Not true, we have seen other artists speak out against others in the biz and not to worry, I don't think anyone major in the biz is holding out hope to work with Jermaine.

No... Most industry people don't speak against others in general. How many industry people do you see dogging other people all the time (there may a few exceptions who talk sh*t about everyone but most will not). I'm not saying that they care about Jermaine but most just don't do that to each other. Whether the person is old or new.

From wat I remember w/ Jam & Terry... I think Jackie didn't want to work with them because he those are Janet Producers. I remember it being confusion about working with them or this other producer.

I never said artist DONT SPEAK OUT against others but MOST will not. Most who want to keep finding work will not because it is frowned upon.
 
The Jackson family as a whole is very much respected by many inside of the industry and outside of the industry. This family packed up, moved from Gary, Indiana, came to California and has given their all. This family has also been through a lot.

We better try to appreciate them. God did not have to share them with the world. He could have kept them to Himself.

Michael loves his family. Every single one of them including the little Jacksons that he added to them. And they all love him. Let's never pit them against each other.

The whole entire family is hurting right now. And we should not forget that.

The whole family, not included MJ'kids and other kids, is playing with vultures, porn producers and stalkers, to steal the MJ money.

So I completly doesn't care about these morons.

If they can go all in jail, it would be the best. They don't care about justice THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY.

I'm sure after they heard him sing smile during the memorial everyone in the music industry became convinced Jermaine lost his voice among everything else.

I had to put my tv on mute , his voice was HORRIBLE.

"HE" he's Michael Jackson's brother , that what he has always been nothing more nothing else.

I do agree with the essence of your post... Although sadly, many of them have diverted from their paths. I honestly do see them (except for Joseph, sorry...) as being good people, but they are seriously, seriously either brainwashed by the powers that be out there, or traumatized by the ropes of fame (I'm thinking about Randy, especially..whatever has been going to him is very bad..), that they've often given in to weaknesses: love of money, jealousy being some of those. .. It's very sad what this perverse music industry can do to people's heads, but they also have to learn from past mistakes and learn to deal with control and conquer it, they're all having respectable ages and you'd expect more wisdom and common sense from their behalf. ..Although I was born in the '80, I miss the old days captured in videos, TV Shows and all that, times that Michael himself would speak fondly of, because he was really close to his brothers and sisters at the time and they'd have fun. ... Really sad. I hope they can wake up somehow, maybe it'll never happen, but hope dies last, as they say... Whatever goes on with most of them is just wrong. ..
 
I hear what you're saying Alma.

I also think part of the problem, which actually is a MAJOR problem, is that the brothers, namely Jackie and Jermaine, want it BIG, like back in the day, when the Jackson 5 machine was running. Times have changed and I don't believe either one of them wants to face that fact.

I didn't include Tito, because he eventually moved on and is just doing his own thing. It's not big, nor huge, but it's decent, he's working on his OWN terms and he appears to be enjoying himself, which in my opinion, is a very good thing.

Marlon, I don't believe is interested, one way or the other. LOL! Good for him.

Jermaine could "most likely" be out their on the Tito tip, but that's to small for him. In my opinion, after what happened at his Las Vegas show, he should MAYBE rethink his plans. Shoot, in his present capacity, ain't nothing wrong with SMALL and intimate.

This is a result of everyone pulling at MJ's family since they can no longer pull at MJ. It is a mad rush for the last-grabs. Haven't you figured this out?

It will die down. When it does, that's when the media will be coming to the realization that they no longer have their ratings kings.

The most important thing that they have done is remembered that they are family first, entertainers second. If they did not hold on to this truth, much worse things would have happened to them.

From looking at the way that they all stood strong together between 2003 and 2005, we can't say that they have fully lost their way. Being fully lost does not look like that. They showed us solidarity. They all wore white clothes to give us a visual.

That all makes a pretty picture, but ah folks, JERMAINE, need to pay their child support.

It's hard to hear you talk about FAMILY FIRST, HOLDING ON TO TRUTH, and SOLIDARITY, when homeboy is not handling his financial responsibilities regarding his minor children.

We all know how IMPORTANT it is for a father to provide a shining example for their children. In my opinion, Jermaine Jackson is not providing that example. I just hope his sons do not grow up and think that's how a father is supposed to act. Know what I'm saying!
 
Don't try to reason with Chanel: he/she is the same person who said binding minor children and their future kids to a lifetime work-for-free contract to a porn producer is NOT illegal.
