Janet's Number One's World Tour Official Thread

Man i SOO hope she comes back 2 St. Louis r Chi-town on her next leg

Well, I think it's most likely she'll be taking a break until Europe, 3 shows in Paris starting June 26th, a private show in the Louvre museum and she'll be hosting the amfAR event in Cannes in May. After that its 3 shows in London starting June 30th, and then 2 in Monte Carlo.
That takes her up to just after the first week in July, and the second US leg commences on August 17th at the moment.
I did think she would be adding more European dates, especially when they announced those dates as the first ones, but time seems to be against her, if she doesn't announce them and put them on sale soon, it could be too late.

Has anyone been one of Janet's 20 under 20? Or has been nominated? I've gotten people to nominate me for when she comes to Sydney, but I fear she won't come until next year when I'm 21....would I immediately be disqualified?
 
^ I think they would let you off, plus as far as I'm aware, Gil (Janet's choreographer) said Janet only plans on touring this year, and then she's going to work on an album, I think Sydney and other Australian, NZ and Japan dates will be in around between September and December
 
Awesome! I really hope so, it sucks that I'm just under the cut off limit. I surely don't feel 20 these days, haha!

Oh, right thanks :) I'm a bit disappointed if she doesn't do more than that in Europe..
 
Me too if I'm honest, she's neglected her European fans, All For You tour was cancelled in Europe because of 9/11, Rock Witchu was never brought to Europe and now 8 dates for Europe, only in 3 countries. All hopes not lost for the European fans, she could release them anytime now, but anything more than a couple of weeks and I think it's too late to announce more and then sell them. Gil did say there would be more European dates though, maybe for the second leg?

Oh and I forgot to mention she'll be in Vienna for the Life Ball on May 21st.
 
I hope she releases more European dates soon, cause that's coming up to only 2 months til her first Euro date.
I would suspect she might release them straight after the final US date San Fran. If it doesn't happen then I will be worried.
She NEEDS to take a moment to focus on the rest of the world.
 
Janet kicked off her 3 sold out LV concerts last night, after the show during the meet and greats one of the fans fainted right infront of Janet and had to be taken to hospital, hope she's alright :D



 
Last US tour date today in Las Vegas before Janet is off to Europe in June. Janet dedicated Escapade to the LV crowd.

Wow, I'm really surprised she added When We Oooo, but she did say every show would be different. Well thats it for the US now, until the second leg. The next show isn't for a while, 26th June in Paris, but Janet will be doing a few private shows and events in the mean time, I'll keep you guys updated on all the proceedings :)

But wasn't that the whole concept of the tour: to just do the Number 1 Singles?
Though I wouldn't mind some album tracks... some of my favorites have never been released as a single.
 
Well Gil has been tweeting about doing a Love & B-sides tour, I don't know if he's teasing the fans or not because they have been asking him about it a lot.
I think for this tour Janet should stick to the hits, and do the songs the people know. Then record a new album, and launch a new tour, or this Love & B-Sides tour if that's what she wants.

Also in other Janet news, if the rapper Pitbull has his way, the song Janet worked with him and Darkchild on it early 2010 will be released off his forthcoming album, due for release in June, so maybe a Janet song may be out sooner than thought.

Really?? You mean Heartbeat Love?? Awesome if that's on his album, I love the song!!!

yeah I know but on most of her tours she automatically includes hits, I just thought was really different she did a non singles, something she never performed before, I know people focus alot of times on singles but she has some non single that I would love for to perform too. maybe like what Gil said she'll do a B side tour later.

Yes Heartbeat Love, I can see why he would want it for his album, its a good song, I think its much better than the song he did with J.Lo and has a lot of potential if its released. It would be great promotion for Janet's tour too :)
