I just watched the documentary, not bad although there were a few stupid comments.

Janet is back in the US for the short third US leg of the tour, she will be in Vegas tonight then 4 more dates before she will be taking part in a movie, which is unknown yet, she may not even be acting in the movie, this could be the lionsgate production deal she got sometime ago. Rhythm Nation is the dedicated song to Vegas.

^ Speaking of acting, I got some word from the fans who followed her around Sydney and apparently she spent 12 + hours at NIDA (which is both an Acting School and a Filming location). Hmmm.....I wonder what she's doing!

Janet performed to a sold out Palm Springs charity Gala in aid of McCallum Theater Institute Programs, Janet's performance had been the most successful in the history of the McCallum Gala's, which raised a record $1 million for the theatre. Jermaine and Katherine also attended the concert.

The tour continues on the 4th in Tampa, and then Miami, before a recess in the tour while Janet works on an album, there are rumours that Janet will not be continuing the tour after the movie, I don't believe this though, for Janet to do a world tour and not go to Japan would be very strange for me, seeing as she's was once one of the most successful artists in Japan selling out the Tokyo Dome stadium in record time for her Rhythm Nation tour, I think she will be leaving Japan as the last date, or possibly Hawaii, Janet's choreographer hinted that the tour would stop there too.

The tour has now ended for the remainder of the year, Janet played Miami yesterday. Also she broke the record for highest grossing concert to be held at the Straz Centre in Tampa:

"The $330,717 gross of a Janet Jackson concert at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts on Dec. 4 broke the long-standing record gross for a single performance at the venue.

Mariah Carey set the previous record of $215,748 on Sept. 3, 2003.

Now Janet will focus on her acting once again, I'm curious as to what it could be, I just hope it isn't another Tyler Perry film, something that has universal appeal, Tyler's films are cool, but I know they are not a lot of peoples cup of tea so to say :lol:

I hope she works on at least a single while the tour is on a break, but then again its the holiday season, maybe she wants to just spend it with the family or something once her part in the movie is done
