That's what I have been asking. Where the hell are the journalist - the good ones anyway. They went rampant on Michael for years calling him names and accusing him of being a 'weird father' because of all the veils and stuff. Why aren't the people who are raising Michael's kids today - in such a REALLY weird way - not getting any crap thrown there way from the media? Because selling your dead's son children to the lions for money is not concidered weird?

Yeah, she bought one of the most talented, kindest and big hearted men into this world - Michael - and that's the only kudos she gets from me. Because at the same time she also brought some of the most miserable human kind into this world just as well (LaToya, Jermaine, Randy... and yes you too Rebbie for selling his cell phone cover after he died ...)
 
This concert is supposed to be in oct isnt it?....or have they change the date?
 
I have question that I find very interesting:

Where is Janet and why isn't she among the artists announced? Doesn't she want to pay tribute to her brother?

This alone should tell anyone who is still wondering about this tribute -- if even Janet is staying away from a concert organized by her OWN family, it should show you what a huge mess this is. Janet obviously knows her family personally and very well and she ain't touching this with a ten foot pole.
 
Oh, they're not doing anything because they forsee another MJ coming down the shoot to bring the tabloids/journalists plenty of cash! They will dog these children for everything they do, as soon as Prince hits 18! They want this family to screw them up like they did MJ, so they can say, "MJ, their father was crazy/weird, and his kids are too!" We ain't seen nothing yet, and it boils down and falls at the feet of Katherine, and LaToya more pointedly since they're ALWAYS pushing these kids into the light where 2 of them (Prince and Blanket) don't want to be, obviously!

Well if the tribute is in oct like i once heard it was, janet will most likely be in australia for tour as shes supposed to be here in melbourne late oct.

The Promoter does not guarantee the final line-up and cannot be responsible for the non-appearance at the Concert of any contracted artiste. If 50% or more of the number of contracted artistes attend and perform the Concert will take place and no refunds will be offered.

Janet pays tribute to her brother Michael in her shows. And I truly think they are sincere when coming from Janet. I know a lot of people don't like her on this website, but honestly she is the most sane in that family. Flawed? Yes. I don't like how she calls MJ a drug addict by not clarifying herself when talking about the early 90's stuff to now. Other then that, she's ok in my book. There are other members in that family that are a hell of a lot worst...

janet knows her family very well, which is why she is smart enough to stay away from this tribute this.

I agree. Prince and Blanket have this look on their faces that says it all.

'Why are we doing this again grandma? I don't wanna be here...'

Meanwhile, Paris of course loves every minute of being in front of camera's posing and drinking it all in. I don't know if it's the 'actress' side of Paris wanting all of that or just loving the celebrity/famous daily life of Hollywood of being famous just because. Little gal needs to be careful if she doesn't want to end up like one of those reality TV C list celebutaunts.

When they turn 18, the press is going to eat them alive so I hope they have talent to back it all up.

I have done nothing wrong what so ever and that is all I will say on that subject. So people can call out all they want. When they speak on occurrences of which they do not know, it will be egg on their face.

This board is not made up of one opinion. Some think the only opinion that is correct is the one they have, or what the majority says. Sorry, but I do not live based on majorites.

That's what I'm saying -- she knows this is a mess and she ain't coming anywhere near it. I know she pays tribute in her shows, many other artists do that as well, it's not a reason not to attend. But Janet clearly knows better than to get involved with this family venture. And that speaks volumes.

Ok this really pissed me off. Yes, PPB should attend the concert since it's tribute to their father if it truly happens. However, what the hell! is this necessary to put them on the webpage to draw people to buy the tickets? Are they now products? Their poor father has done enough to this family. Now they are using his kids? All these are so wrong. 2 years ago, I would say people is exaggerating the drama and dysfunction of J family. Now, after 2 years seeing all these, I feel so sad about MJ and his 3 kids. They are human being not just cash machine. However, even their own family are just using them like walking cash machine, no wonder the public never treat MJ as a human being. Gosh~~~~

and what the hell is the last paragraph? They don't make promise to the final line up. I would be crazy to buy the tickets.
 
I am glad this is the family's official tribute. Hopefully that means they will not attempt another, and we can sit back and wait with anticipation for the real tribute to take place some time after the trial when we could all let down our hair (although I have short hair) and have a good Michael time!!!

To me a Michael Tribute should be more than artists singing his songs. How about including children like from his school in LA, to sing a song and we need a theme. He loved nature how about using that in the theme. I just looked at TII again and his directions on how to end Earth song with the tractor moved me tremendously. I really want a unique tribute just like Michael had unique shows. Is that too much to ask? Anyone can pull some artists together and make them sing. Heck even the Jacksons do it. What is so unique about that. I want something better and different for Michael and I expect to get it!!!!!!!!

Prince and Paris have school, it's easier to take Blanket there since he's home schooled. Poor thing if he's to go without his siblings. I can't believe how this family treats the children.
 
^^Well I expect that the children can travel on the weekend, so school might not be interrupted. No way will they have their official tribute and not take the children for show and tell. Actually if they do not take them, I will have some new respect for them, not that they care.
 
Isn't there anyone in the family that will make sure that the kids aren't forced to do public events if they don't want to? Isn't it obvious that Blanket doesn't want anything to do with the interviews and events?

Anyway, the fact that Janet isn't involved says everything that I need to know about this.

There's, but since they are bound to a contract it's not that easy. And putting Blanket out there is just.. I've no words for it. It's been over two years since I last met the children but had the opportunity a few weeks back to meet Blanket again, and even if it's been two years he's still that very shy kid. But oh so polite.

I don't get why there's such an obvious desperation when it comes to this family. Other famous families always protect the famous kids, but this family has to actually pimp MJ's out? It's like could you see Madonna's broke brothers pimping out out Lourdes and Rocco?
 
this is very upsetting information to wake up to. In my opinion, the Jacksons can do whatever as long as they leave Michael's kids out of it. But they don't.
 
It's sad but the family need the children there in order to sell tickets and to feed the media. Wish the children's advocate would say something about this not being the best thing for them.

We don't know what is going on in their minds, maybe this will be very helpful to them during the trial. If you think the trial is going to be hard on us, it's going to be 100 times harder on Prince, Paris and Blanket. A lot of you are making it sound like Katherine is holding a gun to their heads and forcing them to come with her, but you don't know their personal feelings about this so stop judging.

There's no doubt in my mind that they want to be there. And why not? It's not what's bothering me. It's the fact that they appear on that site to bait fans. And the fact that they are obviously part of the deal KJ made with GL.
